What’s it Like in Heaven

Mommy, what’s it like in heaven?
Do the birds sing, stars shine, are oceans far and wide?
Do children play outside?
Does it rain? Is there pain? Can you tell me, will you explain?
What’s it like in heaven?
Honey, I can’t tell you what heaven is like
But God’s word says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love him…
It must be a beautiful place though
I’ve heard there are streets of gold
There’s a gate made of pearl
Honey, it’s a whole new world…
The sun’s always shining
Rivers of life flow and there’s plenty of dining
Winged creatures, and angels sing
Crowns and gifts, our heavenly Father brings
With all the love our hearts could ever imagine…
Peace and joy beyond compare
Oh baby, it will be glorious there…
It’s bedtime now, so, let’s say our prayers…
OK mommy…
‘Jesus bless all the little children who will go to heaven tonight
Hold all the ones who are young, and old, let them know it will be alright
That heaven is a happy place, there’s no need to be afraid…
I imagine rainbow’s in a clear blue sky and no one ever dies
Unicorn’s dance on heaven’s hills
There will be lots and lots of happy thrills…for heaven is a treasured place…
Papa God, I’ll even sing Amazing grace…’
Just one look on Jesus’ face
I’ll be secure within, his loving embrace
Lord, help the human race…Amen.
This is the plan, my little one…
Heaven for you has just begun…
So, hold on with all of your, might…
Keep your eyes on me sweet child,
Walk with me in every mile…
Sing songs of joy, and let me live within your heart,
Dance and play, and then one day…
You’ll know what heaven is like…
I’ve prepared a home, where you’re never alone…
Oh, and about my throne…
Come boldly there to ask, seek, knock, for you belong
My light transcends all of heaven…
There’s a river of peace that overflows
Joy, unspeakable joy, everyone knows…
For heaven is, a happy place…
Let it fill your heart today…
And share it wherever you go…
Love, Papa God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-11 New King James Version (NKJV)
But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

Our Tears are Never Wasted

You, O God, have followed me all my days, searched my heart and all my ways…
Led me to my new birth, filled me with a heavenly worth…
Taught me that life’s not fair, and to cast all my care…
Upon you, for it’s there, I will find my rest…
In each trial and in every test…my tears are shed and I’ll not protest…
As you collect them in your bottle…
Tears I’ve cried throughout the years
Some of joy, some of fears
You collect my tears and store them in your bottle,
Seemed at times, it was utter madness…
Sometimes relief, and sometimes gladness, was met on this path called life…
But all along the roads I’ve traveled, broken dreams, life, unraveled…
One constant still remains…
I can trust in Jesus’ name…
For you take notice of those who pray, and tears that are shed along the way…
In your book of remembrance, you write them down…
For those who will obtain the golden-crown; heaven is where they’ll stay.
Tears for a lost soul, tears so bold, tears like rain, do fall…
Through it all…
Our tears are kept in your bottle,
Called to remembrance, who we are, like tiny crystals; sparkling stars…
To be poured out as a sweet fragrance to our God…
He bottles our tears and remembers them all…
Even now as they gently fall…
You collect them in your bottle…
Tears for life and tears in death, tears shed for one’s last breath
Bottled by my father’s hand…
Thank you, Father, every detail of our lives matter to you, even our tears.

Psalm 56:8 The Passion Translation (TPT)
You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.
Malachi 3:16 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Then those who revere ADONAI spoke with each other, and ADONAI took notice and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written before Him, for those who revere ADONAI, even those who esteem His Name.

Freedom

He opens the sky each morning with a smile on His face
Waiting in a still, quiet, place…
To greet you with kisses from the morning dew
Waiting to see if you’ll greet Him too…
He waters the flowers and sings songs with the birds
Listening in the stillness for your loving, kind words…
Blessings come from rain drops, there’s healing in His wings
This is how He shows His love, to your heart as He brings…
Joy, for this brand-new day, as he rejoices over you…
Waiting for your presence to be made known, that you love Him too
The birds hush their singing to hear His loving voice
And then the sun comes-out-to-shine because you made Him your choice!
There’s freedom in the knowing that the Savior loves you so…
Freedom from pain, and all your sorrow…
Freedom from life’s deepest, darkest woe…
Goodness and mercy will always follow
Where ever you may go!
Open your eyes and ears today and look at the wonders of this glorious day…
Jesus is waiting to hear you say…
Good morning Lord I’m yours always…
Smiles from the Savior, Child you made my day!

The Lost Soul

Walking in darkness sin’s grip is hard and fast
Wrapped around my blackened heart, to many lies have passed…
Between then and now, I have no clue what I am headed for
Then someone, I know not who, came knocking at my door…
Sneers, and disgrace had left their trace of pain and suffering, it’s too late
Grief is deep, and crimes of the soul, done; all that’s left is hate…
Heart of stone, left alone…
Vile liquid fills my veins, full of drugs there’s no relief…
No saving grace, there’s no belief…
Doubt and fear masked by glares, a stench that fills the air…
All who enter must beware, nothing to lose, no one to care…
But wait…
One tiny spark of hope I see…
They call him, Savior, but can he save me?
What’s that you say, “This man can take, my pain away,
And give me a brand-new heart?”
Slurred speech, I recognize, a picture I once saw…
His eyes so kind, I wish I knew, this man they say, who
Takes away the sin of the world…
Could it be true?
Bending now beside my dirty broken body, I cry…
“Jesus, is that you?”
I’m unworthy to be in your presence…I’ve done things I can never repay…
Child of brokenness, I will take all your shame, all your guilt, this I will do,
If you’ll open your heart and ask me to…
Am I dreaming, hallucinating? Did I die and not know it?
Someone has prayed for you…I’m here to answer that prayer…someone, does care…
I’ve been calling you all your life; will you accept me and turn from strife?
I’ve come to give you an abundant life…
Screams of torment explode in my ears, demon fear, is drawing near,
Jesus, help me, take my heart; I believe, don’t let me part…from this world without knowing you…
Forgive me now…
In your holy name I vow…I will follow thee
Wash me clean and set me free…
Instantly…the darkness flees
I’m light as a feather my heart can breathe
Addictions shatter…
Heart of stone now flesh, demons shriek and scatter
Pain all gone, there’s joy, unspeakable joy, as I surrender to the Master…
Eternal life forever after!!!

The Beckoning

Photo of my son Mark Liverio
The sea calls as I stand upon the shore
Deep calling to deep, there is so much more…
I’ve dreamed my dreams and looked at ocean’s door…
There’s a longing in my heart to go explore.
Time does not stand still…nor will
The waves tossed to and fro…
Like time upon the waters, they’re young, and then grow old…
The sea calls as I listen, a wish that I could go…
But the land-line I am tethered to, bids me, no…
Another life, another time…I shall seek the stars above and seas below…
Come the morning I will know…
My heart and my soul…
Will sail to worlds unknown…

Heaven’s 9-1-1 Operator

Heaven’s 9-1-1 Operator: “Hello, you’ve reached 9-1-1 what is your emergency?”

Prayer: “My name is Prayer and I’d like to say, Good morning to the Chief.

I’d like to tell Him what an awesome job He is doing and thank Him for always answering and sending help when I call.

I want to tell Him that without Him I would be in trouble and that I would have no hope. I want to tell Him that because He sent His son to rescue me, and help me out of a pit of despair and disaster, that I want to do the same for others.

I’m ready to lay down my life to help rescue others. I’m available 24-7 all anyone has to do is call on Prayer. I will take their requests directly to the Chief.

I, Prayer, am not complicated. You don’t need a dictionary to figure me out. I can be as short as one word, “Help” or I can be as long as “Our Father Who Art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name…” In fact the simpler you ask, the better. I can be used in any situation and any place. I’m not prideful or deceitful…I don’t come in my name. I’m not prejudice or racial. I am here for anyone, anytime. All you have to do is speak or even whisper, sometimes just a thought from the heart and I’m ready to take you to the Chief of Heaven. When your heart is humble and honest the Chief will hear and will answer. Sometimes instantly and sometimes it’s years before you get a response but that’s because He knows best.

Heaven’s 9-1-1 Operator. My emergency is this. Many do not use Prayer anymore. Many have never even heard of Prayer. Many are afraid or feel awkward in Prayer. So I’d like you to tell them it’s OK to use Prayer. Prayer is not complicated; they don’t need to feel uncomfortable about Prayer. Prayer is their friend.

Prayer is here to take them to the Chief of Heaven and present their request so that they can have peace and an intimate relationship with the Chief. In fact He created Prayer for that purpose.

Now, thank you for hearing Prayer’s request.”

Heaven’s 9-1-1 Operator: “Prayer, the Chief has heard your emergency call and He is answering immediately.

He wants everyone to use Prayer too! Someone will be right there.”

I AM GREATER!!!

This morning I got up, ate my oatmeal, did some things and went back to bed. I didn’t sleep well last night. I woke up feeling really tired, I prayed, “Holy Spirit help me! I’m so tired!” I heard him say in a loud whisper in my head, “I AM GREATER!” So, I tried to get up…I had that sinking feeling you get when your sugar is low. I keep food by my bed just in case that happens…I took a bite and struggled to test my sugar. it was 54…I was able to get to the kitchen to get something to eat and started feeling better…then wrote this…I used The Alliance website for some of the attributes.
Holy Spirit, help me! The enemy is raging….
I, AM, GREATER!!!!!!!!!
Look right here…keep your eyes on me…
The enemy has no power, he is defeated,
I completed…
Everything on that cross…
He, lost…
Because you have been born anew and have accepted My Son,
I live in you,
Do you know who you are?
You are the firstlings of My Kingdom
You are My child
You are the righteousness of Heaven
Adopted sons and daughters
Justified freely by His grace
Purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ
Purified by His blood
Cleansed by His blood
Sanctified by His blood
Rescued from the kingdom of darkness
Brought into the kingdom of the Son
You are My possession
My friend
My Children
My elect
My chosen
My beloved
You are a branch of My vine
You are Heirs and co-heirs of Christ
You are My treasure
You are My redeemed
You are My temple
Warriors
Intercessors
Spirit led
Living epistles
Ambassadors
Witnesses
Workmen
My own workmanship
You are sealed by My Holy Spirit
Seated with Christ in heavenly places
You are forgiven
You are in My hand
Set apart for My use
Shielded by My power
You are not condemned
You are one with Me
You are called with a holy calling
You are a minister of reconciliation
Greatly loved
Protected from the evil one
Equipped with spiritual armor
The salt of the earth
The light of the world
Born again
You are anointed
You are priests, prophets and kings
You are living stones
You are a spiritual house
A holy and royal priesthood
A holy nation
Aliens and strangers in this world
Citizens of Heaven
Recipients of mercy
More than conquerors
You are being transformed into My likeness
You are blessed
You will never die,
YOU ARE MINE!!!
And I love you ETERNALLY! FOREVER! ALWAYS!
DO NOT FEAR…
DO NOT DOUBT…
You are faithful and prepared…
Put your trust and faith in me…
I, AM, GREATER!
I gave you life and hope and a future
I will not let you go!!!
And just in case you should forget….You have the mind of Christ, Holy Spirit living inside of you, to teach you, lead you, comfort you, protect you, show you my mysteries, and provide you a way of escape in every trial…know that you make me smile, and child, you can rest in my presence…. In my presence there is fullness of JOY and at my right hand there are pleasures forever more….So hold your head up high, stand, be bold and believe, drink of me and receive all that you are in me…for I will always be, and forever you’ll see, I am your loving, Heavenly Father!!!

I Can’t Walk on Water

Artist Yongsung Kim
I can’t walk on water, but I know the one who does
I can’t heal a broken heart, but I know the one of Love
I can’t raise the dead, or move mountains, or calm the sea
But I know the one who died for you, and me…
I can’t heal a leper, or cause the blind to see…
The lame to walk, the dumb to talk, break chains to set men free…
But I know the one who rescued me, and He’ll do the same for you
All you have to do, is, ask Him too…
His name is Yeshua…a babe, a boy, a man
Over two thousand years ago He walked, not only on water, but on Jordan’s sand…
All over Jerusalem…
He lived and He died and rose again…
And because of Him…
New life began…
And when He returns to this old earth…
All those who accepted His new birth…
Favor, grace and for all it’s worth…
Will live with Him always…
I can’t walk on water…but I know the one who does…
Yeshua, God’s son, He is eternal love…
He sent Holy Spirit to teach us how…
To live and laugh and preach and pray
To honor Him with our lives each and every day…
He gave us His word…and Spirit to obey…
And as we journey on our way…
We can do all things through Him, because He gives us strength
Through the Holy Spirit, with fire, and praise…
He will stay in our hearts, always….

1 Corinthians 13 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Love, the Motivation of Our Lives
If I were to speak with eloquence in earth’s many languages, and in the heavenly tongues of angels, yet I didn’t express myself with love, my words would be reduced to the hollow sound of nothing more than a clanging cymbal.
And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of God’s hidden secrets, and if I possessed unending supernatural knowledge, and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains, but have never learned to love, then I am nothing.
And if I were to be so generous as to give away everything, I owned to feed the poor, and to offer my body to be burned as a martyr, without the pure motive of love, I would gain nothing of value.
Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
Perfect Love
Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.
For now, we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.

The Cross Road

Standing at this cross-road Lord, which way do I go?
Each road leads to where, I just don’t know…
Unexpected loss has caused my heart to break
I don’t know where to go from here, Lord, help me, for my sake…
Child, I am with you in each step you take…
But for now, just hold onto me and wait…
Seasons come and seasons go, this one thing is for certain…
You are never really standing still…take my hand, I’ll lead you up the hill
Over mountains, and through valleys, there will be dark times and sunshine…
You’ll grow…
You’ll come to know…
Trust me, even though, life is hard, grief is deep, but on the other side,
The answer will be sweet…
Life is a cycle…you’re born, you live, you die,
You laugh, you struggle and you cry…
All the while learning, not why…but when…
You trust me to the end…you’ll know
But until then…
Trust, believe and wait, then take,
One day at a time…
For you are mine…
And while you go about your task
These little things I ask…
Trust in me,
Sing in your pain
Laugh in the rain
Keep your eyes on me
Then remain…
Great wisdom you’ll gain
When you call on my name…
I’ve got you in the palm of my hand
And,
I’ll never let you go!!!

Lord, I believe!

Proverbs 3:5-6 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Wisdom’s Guidance
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.[a]

Daughter

I Am
I Am the daughter
I Am the daughter of the King…
I don’t walk in pride or arrogance
I learned to walk with confidence and humility
He’s given me the ability
To stand in the face of fear and laugh
Knowing I am an heir, I am no longer a slave…
I am bold and brave…
Knowing there is nothing impossible with my Papa God…
For it’s not in my strength, nor in my might
I live knowing it’s His Spirit, living, guiding, leading and teaching me
How to love, how to hope, how to rest in His embrace
Childlike, with arms flapping in the wind, as I run and jump and dance
Kicking up my heels and daring to take a chance…
It’s faith that pleases Him…
He smiles and winks, sings and blinks…
As I sparkle and shine just for him…
My spirit set free of all encumbrances, all inhibitions
Joy indescribable joy…
Surrendered to Him only…
I walk among the broken, the lost and the hurting
I sit among the discarded ones, those, others despise…
I sing the song of love and peace so that they realize…
The daughter of the King is not above them, or, below them
She meets them as they are…
For the King has poured into her heart, His love, His amazing grace
So that whatever they face, they’ll know
The King is not a tyrant…He is love and wants them to grow
To bless and not to curse…to give life and not death
And with each breath…
To worship and bless His holy name…
So that, they too, can become His sons and daughters…
I am the daughter of the King…and that means…
I am forever redeemed…
You are a daughter of the King
And when you give Him your heart, He becomes everything
He’ll take your rags and give you a beautiful white gown
Place upon your head, a shining crown
He’ll bottle your tears and chase away the fear
Because darl’n, you’re now in the presence of the King
He’ll even place upon your finger His signet ring…
All you have to do is bring…
Your heart as an offering…
And now you are a daughter of the King!
Listen, hear those cheers?
There’s a banquet being held in your honor
Adoption complete
Daughter come meet…
Your Papa the King!
