18 And Hashem Elohim said, It is not tov that the adam (man) should be alone; I will make him an ezer (a helper) suitable for him. (Genesis) Bereshis 2:18 Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)

I’m longing for something,

In the garden of life;

Not knowing who, or what,

But Hashem Elohim, promised me a wife…

Awaking from springtime’s refreshing

Adam asks, ‘What’s this I find, a woman, my kind.

Sleeping in the sunshine…curves that draw me near…

Her lips are full and beckoning as she speaks

‘Abba brought me here.’

A mighty rushing wind, sends rapture and ecstasy

Flooding my soul with delight, setting my spirit free…

A woman, Hashem Elohim, has made, for me.

The Light

Behold…
The Light…
The Flame…
It shines through the darkness…
Thick darkness…
Cannot hide the light…
Great darkness…
Brighter light…
One tiny flame, dispels the darkness
His light can never be extinguished!
Behold…
The Light!

Jesus, the light of the world…

John 8:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

God’s Word Last Forever

(The oldest tree in the world is a Great Basin bristle cone pine (Pinus longaeva) in the white mountains of California in Inyo National Forest. This gnarled old tree has been named Methuzelah and is estimated to be about 4,845 years old, which dates back to roughly the same time period as Noah’s ark. The exact location of the tree is kept a secret to protect the tree from the public though it looks similar to the pictures shown here.)

Moments fly like snow drifts in the wind…

Vibrant, glistening, fresh and new

Then melted to begin again…

The eyes blink

A generation extinct

Yet stays in memories then fade…

Cycling, God, made!

Adam, the first man, lived to be 930 years old (Genesis 5:5). Seth was 912. Five generations later, God took Enoch when he was 365 (Genesis 5:24). Enoch’s son, Methuselah, died at 969 (Genesis 5:27). Methuselah’s grandson Noah, ten generations after Adam, lived to be 950 (Genesis 9:29).

All of these men were born and lived many years. But after the Flood, life spans dropped. Why? That’s a good question. Noah’s son Shem lived to be 600 (Genesis 11:10-11). The next three generations died in their 400s (Genesis 11:12-19). But six generations later, Abraham lived to be 175. So, Adam was 930; ten generations later, Noah was 950; ten generations later, Abraham was 175 (Genesis 25:7). One can only imagine…maybe it was because their physical bodies were still close enough to the Garden’s influence and God’s provision of food and water that death was slower coming. No one really knows. It would be an interesting study.

But like that old serpent who whispered in Eve’s ear, “Surely you won’t die.” He caused just enough doubt in Eve that she forgot about her loyalty to God. And taking a bite, die she did. Physically and spiritually…only through the blood of Jesus can we be restored to eternal life. Will you listen to that old serpent whisper in your, ear? Or will you choose to listen to God? I choose Jesus, he is the way the truth and the life!

Singing Brings Joy

God woke me up this morning with a song on my lips

The birds they stopped to listen, they didn’t want to miss

This, human, singing…making melody below…

Songs from the master for the journey as we go…

The little birds waited, to hear this song from you…

Happiness and sunshine like tiny drops of dew…

A blessing from heaven shines down upon you…

Singing brings joy, joy brings strength…

Strength brings courage…

Courage to wait…

They that wait upon the Lord…soon will be renewed

You’ll run and not grow weary…

You’ll walk and not faint…

So sing little song bird, your melody so sweet

And then before you know it, you’ll have little dancing feet!

Swirling and twirling, your joy will be complete!!!

31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

Broken Vessels

Broken vessel…
Lying in pieces…
No one to pick you up…
No one to hear you cry…
Stepping over the shattered, broken, vessel walks a passerby.
Never sees the pain or distress, upon your battered face…
Desperate for mending; just a touch of human grace…
But that would be too much to ask, from a solitary life…
No time for that; we all must wear, the hidden, faithless, mask…
Not knowing who; that bends to make the mends…
A hand reaches out; He does not demand…
He takes the broken pieces, rearranges them His way…
Now all the broken pieces are put together again…
New vessel standing strong and true…
The master, creator, did this for you…

Old things are passed away…
Behold!
All things, become, brand new!

Warrior of Prayer

 The Whole Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-18New Living Translation (NLT)

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we[a] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.[b] 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.[c] 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.[d]

Warrior of Prayer
 The battle weary warrior…
Fight’s long, hard and intense…
No matter what, He fights…
The enemy never tires…
Never retreats…
Never stops…
He kills, steals and destroys, all within his path…
When one is cut down, ten will take their place…
Where are you Warrior of the Living God?
Reinforcements commence…
No time to rest…or give up, or give in…
You must be strong and fit, in body mind and spirit
Strategy, alert, aware, there is no end to it…
If Brother Warrior faces defeat…another take his place
Pray long and stay, before, our Holy God’s, Majestic face…
Warrior of Prayer;
Be diligent be faithful…don’t look to the left or the right…
The Warrior’s creed is this…
It’s do or die, there is no retreat…
Lives hang in the balance…
You never leave your post…
Pray without ceasing, in the Holy Ghost…
You’re a Warrior of prayer; anointed for the task…
Don’t lose heart, stand true, stand fast…
Oh Mighty Warriors of Prayer,
Come join the massive fight…
For Jesus and His army has given us His Light…
For when…The Commander in Chief;
Splits the eastern sky…
Sword drawn; shielded;
We hear the battle cry…
The journey continues…
Renewed in Spirit…
We fly!

Our Help Comes from the Lord

Hope!
Terror in the street
Pressed by flowing tide
Multitudes are crying, dying
Nowhere to hide
RUN!
RUN!
RUN!
Death marching by,
Taking
One by one…
God help us
Shadow, darkness
Begun
Only one thought
Survive…
Psalms 91

Almost Home

Upon your withered brow
Wisdom shows
The hoary head
And tattered clothes
Bent, you humbly bow
Signs of the journey
Life has brought you through

Chosen wisely you have tread
You’ve given your life away
At life’s end there’s no regrets
None you need repay…

All to the I Am…
Your heart, mind and soul
Made everlasting love
Your eternal goal…

Walk on my child, take joy and know
You’re journey’s soon complete
A few more steps in this old world,
Home will be so sweet…

Ancient One

Ancient One
It’s my turn
Life is Oh so short…
Upon this place of dirt and rocks
Water, snow and hills,
Stand fast…
Soon and very soon
I’ll end my toil and tasks
To come and live with you
That’s all my Lord, I ask…

The God Man

Softly whispering on the wind…
Come to me my beloved
Do not delay
I have a special purpose
For you, to do, today…
Enter into the presence
Of the God man, your friend
I’m waiting for our meeting
Let grace and frolic begin
Unfettered, untethered
We win!
