Be Courageous Be Bold Hebrews 4:16

While at the doctor’s office today a couple came in, they were older than me…LOL…the lady’s phone rang and I heard her talking to her daughter…I was trying not to ease drop but it was a small room so I had no choice.

She said, “Your dad is fine, nothing to worry about. We have two speeds, slow and stop…”

I laughed to myself…they were so cute…

And then I had an eye opener…

No matter how big we think our faith is…and no matter who we have praying for us…when you are faced with the possibility of receiving news of a terminal disease…it’s like you are holding your breath until it is confirmed one way or the other…

I have Faith in God…I know what he said is true…I’ve read story after story of how he heals and has healed me many times…and others I know he’s healed…why do we doubt?

Jesus asked Peter, “Why did you doubt me?”

I thought about this question a lot and in my heart and in my spirit I’d hear the Holy Spirit say, “You are not going to die now. You are going to be alright…” and I’d respond “I trust you God! You are my healer…and I thank you for my healing…”

And yet there’s that amazing relief when you hear the doctor say, it is not cancer…

Confirmation…relief and joy…

Why didn’t I feel that way before I got the news…?

Do we really believe God?

I had to repent…and say, “Jesus, I believe you, but help my unbelief.”

I believe he smiles and says, “It’s OK daughter, but go and sin no more! Your faith has made you whole!”

I also learned during this trial…that faith comes from the heart not your head…

Jesus wants our heart…

Search me O God and know my heart…

And he does…and what he finds there he reveals to us so that we can change…

His gift to me today, was life…but it is no different from any other day…He IS LIFE!!

And even when I die…I have His life!!!

But it sure is good to know that he’s not calling me home yet…

He is my deliverer and my healer…Jesus is, The Great Physician!!!

Child, have faith in me…trust me…I will never forsake you…don’t follow me for what you can get from me…follow me so that you can learn from me so you can know me…I will not lie to you…I will not abandon you…open your heart and you’ll see me, there, leading, guiding and directing your path.

When the road looks dark, and you feel alone…

When everyone seems to have deserted you…look full in my face and know I am right here with you…sing a new song of praise. I am closer than your heartbeat…keep your eyes on me not the circumstances…I love you ~~God

Let me add this today, for those who did receive the fatal news and you were told it is cancer…don’t give up, don’t despair…there is a reason for everything…Only God knows what it is…but I can tell you this from experience watching my mom bear that news with grace and hope in her God, even though she believed and had faith that he would heal her one way or the other…when it came time to accept what God had for her, she said, “I’m in your hands God…your will be done.” And God took her home. We are all going home one day…but how we live right now, with the time we have left, use it to glorify God…use it to encourage and strengthen others who may not be as strong in their faith…God bless you and give you grace every step of the way…take heart little one…Jesus is with you right now and he is carrying you all the way home.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 New Living Translation (NLT)

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! John 6:20-39

The next day the crowd that had stayed on the far shore saw that the disciples had taken the only boat, and they realized Jesus had not gone with them. Several boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the Lord had blessed the bread and the people had eaten.  So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and went across to Capernaum to look for him. They found him on the other side of the lake and asked, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs. But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.”

They replied, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?”

Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”

They answered, “Show us a miraculous sign if you want us to believe in you. What can you do? After all, our ancestors ate manna while they journeyed through the wilderness! The Scriptures say, ‘Moses gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ^“

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

“Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.”

Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day.

Why are You following Jesus?

God gave me this song in 2011, I was living with my mom at the time. The pain of the loss of a loved one, loneliness, depression set in and life was dark. God is always with us even in the dark. I wrote this for my first book, ‘Sing Sarah Sing.’ I want to share it with you today. God never lies, He never changes, and He never leaves us…

We will face many battles in life and loss and hurt will always be there…but there will also be joy and happiness and new life and new opportunities for good…it rains on the just and the unjust…

My hope is not in things or people…My hope is in the Lord! I will trust Him, no matter what and one day I will be going home on Angel’s wings….

When life gets too hard to bear…than Sing child, sing!!

If you can’t sing, hum, and if that doesn’t work, then turn the radio on and turn it up all the way and let the music lift you higher and higher…

Music has healing…You are going to make it!!

In my prayer time yesterday I was asking God to show me more of Jesus…to fill me with more of Him and I also prayed for those he had placed on my heart…

But…it was as if my prayer was not getting any higher than the ceiling. So I pulled out the big guns…and I asked the Holy Spirit to pray for me…and BAM…supernatural power took over and my prayers went straight up, with full force from my spirit right through the ceiling into the portals of the heavenlies…supernatural power into the very heart of God…whew…thank you LORD!

Before I knew it I was in the spiritual realm of the throne-room of God and boldly declaring the needs of the people, to find help in this hour of need, in the name of Jesus…

Then falling to the floor, because I was overpowered with the Love of God…it was amazing…I couldn’t say anything except, “God you’re amazing!!!!” He revealed to me something about His brilliant LIGHT…He said, “It’s not the brilliance of my light that over powers and is blinding to the eyes of humans…it’s not the light that keeps them from seeing my face for no one has seen God and lived….It is, MY LOVE…my love is what is so brilliant, my love is what transforms you, my love is what gives life, my love is what saves you and it is my LOVE that lives right inside of you!!!

Even now I can hardly write these words because of the over powering sense of the Love of God…Because GOD, IS, LOVE!!! (I John 4:8)

The enemy of God is the absence of Love…darkness has no love…

Lucifer rejected God’s love…therefore because GOD is LOVE…he could no longer stay in Love’s presence…it is impossible…

And so, Love, sent Jesus in human form, full of love for mankind…and when he ascended to heaven…he said Go wait in Jerusalem for I’m sending you another comforter not only will he walk with you but he will be, IN YOU!!

A tiny spark of Love is what lives inside us when we accept Jesus into our hearts as the Lord of our lives…It’s love…God’s love…that’s why we feel such peace and joy and freedom from the burdens of sin when we open our hearts to receive him in…Just as God breathed life into Adam and gave him a living soul…

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit so that we would become alive again no longer under the curse of the law of sin and death. Love would come into us and we would again be united in Love with the Father!!

It was Gabriel, the angel of the Lord, who appeared to Mary and said, The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the Power of the Most High will come over you, Mary, and Jesus the son of God will be born…perfect love, perfect sacrifice, God’s love…making it possible for His love to live in our very own hearts… (Read Luke 1:35)

God’s love grows and grows and grows…as we draw closer to Him, and dwell in him and let him dwell within us…

Oh that I could tell you, if I only had the words to express what I know in my being…the Love of God is Amazing…his love heals, and transforms us into his imagine which is LOVE!! That’s why there are no wars, or pain or sin or death or any putrid thing in heaven…because that light that is talked about, the light that blinded Saul on the road to Damascus and changed him…the light of the World that is Jesus, it is his Love…

Faith, hope and Love…I Corinthians 13:13, says, “But the greatest of these is Love….

Because He is, Love!

God’s love forgives…His love redeems, His love will sanctify us, set us apart for His glory, His love delivers us from death and the grave…His love shuts the mouths of lions, His love walked on water, His love quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy, Satan.

God’s love hung on a cross, His love died for you and for me, and His love rose, ascended and he sent His love to us so that we could have His love in us…the light of His love, brilliantly glowing through us, for the world to see, and know, that they can have his Love too!!

God’s love will enable us to walk through the storms of life, to pray without ceasing, to love beyond persecution, to forgive every offense, it will heal our wounds and be a sweet-smelling savor to him and as we walk in his heel prints… when our time here is over His love will take us all the way to our heavenly home…

His love is not abuse; his love is pure and steadfast. His love never fails or changes.

I’m not talking about the sensual kind of love of our nature…

I’m talking about the very nature of God…in him there is no sin, no hate, no disease, no lie, for He cannot be any of those things…because His very essence is LOVE!! His love is a covenant and cannot be broken…

I pray you get this even if it’s just a spark…because a spark can cause a blazing fire…

Let LOVE, set you on supernatural, spiritual fire, for Him today!!!

May it burn and spread within your hearts to everyone you encounter…

Like the two, who as they walked along the road with Jesus…and didn’t recognize him…but after he left them they said, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us?” (Read-Luke 24:13-35 New International Version (NIV))

I pray the Holy Spirit will burn within you today and you will be overcome with the Love of God and that it will change you forever…and you will love everyone you meet until His Love, changes the whole world…Amen!

All you have to do is ask God for Love…He is more than willing to give it to you!

I know what it is to see the breath of life leave my loved one’s body, and I know what it is to see the first breath of a new life enter the world…

I know what it is to be abandoned and rejected…

I know the devastation of divorce, as a child and as an adult, how it leaves the family shattered, to face life’s challenges alone……

I know what it is to look in the eyes of my children’s hearts and see them broken…

I know what it is to be locked away, and your life placed in someone else’s hands…

I know what it is to be beaten and humiliated because someone’s anger got out of hand…and I know what it is to face defeat, become homeless and live in total despair…

I know the stench of demon cancer as it slowly strips dignity and life from its victims…and I know the broken heart of a baby taken as death takes its toll leaving a large gaping hole with the horror the wounds leave behind…

I know what it is to be diagnosed with an incurable disease, and feel hopeless; striving to survive but all you can do is cope day by day…

I know abuse, and pain and loss and hurt…I know fear and doubt…

Yes I know, because I’ve been there—

I know what it is to be so tired you want to die…I know what it is to cry and cry with no relief in sight…begging for years but the answer is, no!

Yes, I know all this—

But I also know, I could have chosen to be bitter or to hate and wallow in unforgiveness…

I chose to be better, and to love and to forgive—

I know the peace that comes through forgiveness…

I know the joy that comes through tears wiped away…

I know the love and forgiveness of family and friends; and I know the love that only comes from above—

I know the light of hope and love restored in the hearts of my children…

I know the unexplainable, undeniable, incomprehensible, Peace and rest while standing in a crowd of thousands, giving praise and worship to the Living God.

I know the gift of being lifted higher than all the pain, basking in the presence of the One who gave me life and hope…

I could be bitter; I could have chosen drugs, alcohol, sex, perversion, living on the streets, I could have chosen death…but none of that would have saved me—

I chose to Love and Forgive, and because of that, I am blessed beyond measure…

Loved completely—

Saved totally, restored, set free, pardoned and given treasure more than this world could ever offer—

I know what it’s like to face death—

More than that, I know what its like to face Life, because I know Him, Jesus, the one who not only took all that sorrow and shame and guilt and pain away, but He gave me the amazing gift of a full life.

I made the choice! I chose Jesus! I chose to give and not take…to love and not hate…I chose to live and not die…

We all have a choice…

We come to a cross-road…you’ll know it when you get there…I pray you too will make the correct choice…

God has more mercy than we could ever expect

More Love than we could ever run out of…

More Joy than could fill an ocean or a sky

More Faith than we need to move every mountain

More peace than the Universe can hold

His arms are bigger than the Grand Canyon

He reached out to each and every one of us on the cross—

And He is saying right now…”NO Matter WHAT, you are facing, if you will open your heart and love Me back…I will SAVE you totally, turn your life around for good, and you will be free to laugh, love, and be at peace with yourself, with others, and with God.”

It’s a choice! I’m not saying you’ll never face loss or pain again…but I am saying when you do, you will have hope and faith to take you all the way through and you will not be alone…

God’s way is so much better, this I also know!!

His Light will come flooding in, and you’ll never, ever, be the same lost, lonely, hurting, fearful, desperate person ever again…

Because He has said so!

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 King James Version (KJV)

Today I saw a post that blew my mind…not because of the health care insurance issues…

What I saw when I read the following diseases was this….

“Wake Up Mighty Prayer Warriors of God…No sleeping while on duty…be alert, be watchful, the enemy is approaching…he’s lurking in the darkness, his sniper has taken aim and he’s about to shoot…”~~Holy Spirit…

I’m talking to me too…

Where is the power?

Where are the Mighty Warriors of God?

Why are we, the children of God, suffering from all these things…?

Jesus said, these signs SHALL follow those who believe…in my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover…(Mark 16:17)

As a person with diabetes, myself, and thyroid issues and a few other things, why am I allowing these to take my life? Why am I not able to cast out the demons and command them to go in the Name of Jesus and recover? I have the power within me to cast the devils out…I have the power to speak with new tongues and I do regularly, I don’t play with snakes…that would be tempting God…and is really stupid, but there are serpents in the spiritual realm that are constantly hissing and striking…those I toss aside with in the name of Jesus…Our food is contaminated and tainted by chemicals and poisons, I bless my food and it will not harm me, this is what Jesus said…and when we lay hands on the sick they shall recover, these are Jesus’ words…He has given us the power in His name and He has filled us with His Holy Spirit…but if we don’t use the power He’s given us then it is powerless…We have to flip the switch…so to speak…the current is there just waiting for us to turn it on…

So…

Don’t get me wrong I’m not blaming God…I know what my God can do…I’ve seen many people healed and set free from sicknesses and I’ve seen many miracles in my life. I’ve seen it with my own eyes…I’ve experienced the Power of the Holy Spirit and I’ve witnessed it in the life of others….

I’ve seen the Holy Spirit move and change lives…there is no doubt if His power still moves in lives in this day and hour…He is Real…but we as His children are only wishing…

Why?

I’ll tell you why…

We, the Church, have sat down and accepted sickness in our lives…and please, listen, there is no condemnation here, this IS not to judge anyone…it is to send out an alarm to say, “No More Satan…we aren’t going to take your abuse any longer! You’ve been exposed and we are cleaning house…Get Out in the Name of Jesus!”

Just look at the following list of diseases listed below…this blew me away…

In the United States alone…People are sick…more and more I hear people say, I’ve got this disease

Christians…followers of Christ…these are the ones Jesus said are believers and they’re sick…

AIDS/HIV, acid reflux, acne, ADD, addiction, Alzheimer’s/dementia, anemia, aneurysm, angioplasty, anorexia, anxiety, arrhythmia, arthritis, asthma, atrial fibrillation, autism, bariatric surgery, basal cell carcinoma, bipolar disorder, blood clot, breast cancer, bulimia, bypass surgery, celiac disease, cerebral aneurysm, cerebral embolism, cerebral palsy, cerebral thrombosis, cervical cancer, colon cancer,… colon polyps, congestive heart failure, COPD, Crohn’s disease, cystic fibrosis, DMD, depression, diabetes, disabilities, Down syndrome, eating disorder, enlarged prostate, epilepsy, glaucoma, gout, heart disease, heart murmur, heartburn, hemophilia, hepatitis C, herpes, high cholesterol, hypertension, hysterectomy, kidney disease, kidney stones, kidney transplant, leukemia, lung cancer, lupus, lymphoma, mental health issues, migraines, MS, muscular dystrophy, narcolepsy, nasal polyps, obesity, OCD, organ transplant, osteoporosis, pacemaker, panic disorder, paralysis, paraplegia, Parkinson’s disease, pregnancy, restless leg syndrome, schizophrenia, seasonal affective disorder, seizures, sickle cell disease, skin cancer, sleep apnea, sleep disorders, stent, stroke, thyroid issues, tooth disease, tuberculosis, ulcers.

Where is the Power?

We’ve given it to doctors and hospitals and watched as we, ourselves and our loved ones suffer and die with cancer and heart disease and all these other things…

We say, “Oh let’s just change our eating habits, exercise and get plenty of rest…let’s heal ourselves, there’s nothing wrong with that…but where is our Faith…?

We pray but our prayers aren’t being answered because we are just wishing and hoping that God is hearing…instead of Knowing He is hearing….

Where is the kind of faith we read about in the Bible, the kind we read where the preachers of old stormed hell and saved souls, healed the sick, cast out demons, they didn’t back down in the battle…? But do we see it today…? Oh a little…but one day we’re healed and the next day we’re back to seeing the doctor…

Jesus is saying, Oh ye of little faith…why do you doubt?

God is calling his people to a powerful, awakening…He’s calling people from around the world that won’t sit back and be lulled to sleep by movies, television, games and entertainment…people pleasers, judgmental, unbelieving, wishy-washy, not for today thinking, Christians…

We think by hearing a good sermon and cheering, and patting someone on the back with a feel good kind of message is great for the moment but what about living it on a constant basis…?

Millions of people are dying and going straight to Hell…millions are sick and spend what little money they have on doctor visits that yield no lasting results…

Come on…

I’m heartbroken seeing people suffer…I’m tired of hearing my friends say I need prayer…help me…my son or daughter or grandchild is having surgery and diagnosed with cancer and all the pain and hurt that all that brings with it…aren’t you tired?

Where is our mind, what are our thoughts…where is the power…?

Hospitals are full and overflowing…rehab centers are full…mental facilities are jammed packed…why?

If we say we are God’s children then we must walk it, talk it, live it, be it…It is Him in us that heals and it is the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which destroys the yokes of Satan…

We must become passionate and radial in our prayers…Satan is not playing, he is not letting up one bit…He aims to kill us and if we keep giving him the rope, he is going to wrap it around our necks and hang us and that is what he’s doing…

We have to take back what he has stolen…How? By getting down on our knees and praying until God moves…

I used to listen to stories my grandmother would tell of how when her son was sick with the croup, that was a death sentence in those days…he couldn’t even drink a sip of water, granny didn’t have money for a doctor…she went to town and found someone who she knew could get hold of God and she had him come to her house…This man said, “It’s like praying through a brick wall…” Granny said, “Tear that brink wall down!”

This man prayed, he prayed until sweat drenched his clothes, for one hour he prayed…but when he got up from kneeling and praying…my Uncle Dan said, “Mama, I want a sip of water.”

And he never got the croup again; he lived to be past seventy years old…

This was not a microwave faith…but a Good Old Fashion, sweat pouring from our bodies…prostrate on our face before the Living God, believing and Knowing that what we ask in the Name of Jesus we will receive…not wavering, not saying to ourselves if this doesn’t work we’ll go to the doctor…tell that to the ones who’ve been to every doctor they can find…every specialist and no relief comes, they’ve spent their last penny on physicians, and are still sick and broke and they die in pain and misery…because doctor’s don’t have the power to heal…they only have the power to practice…

I’m not telling you to stop going to doctors…that is not what this is about…

This is about repenting and saying, God Your Will, be done, on earth as it is in heaven…”

It’s about believing what God has said in His word is true…it’s about becoming REAL with God…and knowing that what He said he will do if we have faith in Him…

It’s saying, “In the name of Jesus, I will lay hands on the sick and they WILL recover.” It is the power of God in us that will heal and set people free…from sickness and sin and send the devils running in terror…instead of us as God’s children, running to doctor’s, wringing our hands and hoping they can help us…God is not mocked…you either believe He is, or you don’t…wishing is not going to work…ever!

What’s it going to be? Do you believe… or are you wishing…is your Faith solid, or is it a wish of faith…if you truly believe then these signs will follow you…

Look at that list of diseases again…

There are pills to go to sleep, pills to wake you up, and pills to get you through the day…pills for everything…and when the pills no longer work, then what?

No insurance, no money? What will you do…will you have Faith then? What’s it going to take…?

I’m talking to Christians…the followers of Jesus…those who say they believe…do you really…Do I really? I’ll tell you this…I’m looking at my prayer life more seriously…I believe God and I am making some drastic changes.

God help me…search me O God and know my heart…help my unbelief…

It is mind-boggling and it’s more and more every day…this message should scream volumes at you as a Christian…WHERE IS OUR FAITH? Where are the miracles of the Bible? The word is nigh thee even in thy mouth and in thy heart…Romans 10:8

God help me…forgive me…fill me with your Holy Ghost and Fire…to touch people that they will recover and follow you…in the Name of Jesus…Amen!!

 Just a little farther, I pray I’ll make it Lord–

My strength is gone; I’m running on mere fumes

I need your Grace to save me from this heaviness and gloom…

I’m tired, I’m spent, muscles sore, emotions raw—

I can’t even lift my head to draw, a single breath, little lone a smile—

Help us Jesus, to go, just one more mile—

Step by step, I’m struggling to lend a helping hand…

It’s more than I can bear dear Lord; this is more than I can stand—

Seeing the suffering this one endures, like an hour-glass of sand…

Pouring slowly from her life; O God if you don’t help us, no one can…

Then suddenly, a gust of wind comes rushing in, and lifts me to a new refreshing—

I don’t know how I got here…

All I know is a reprieve has been sent…

Still numb from all the work Lord; my back is tired and bent—

You promised grace for the journey and for every moment…

When I turn my eyes to look at you, all pain and anguish leave

Even in the midst of this fierce battle; all I have to do is believe.

I know it’s not over yet—

Renewed in spirit and refreshed in mind…

My face is fixed as flint…

Rivers of living water flow from Emanuel’s veins…

I’m here Lord, and here I will remain!

She’s in your hands, God-Healer, until we meet again…

Man’s definition of Light

Light is a transverse, electromagnetic wave that can be seen by humans. The wave nature of light was first illustrated through experiments on diffraction and interference. Like all electromagnetic waves, light can travel through a vacuum.

What is Light?

It’s more like, Who is Light…?

God said, Let there be light…and there was light…illumination, brightness, brilliance, radiance, sunlight, moonlight, starlight, lamplight, firelight; enlightenment, comprehension, awareness, truth…Jesus/Yeshua…is the Light!

Jesus said, I am the light of the world, whoever walks in the light will not walk in darkness…but will have the light of life…John 8:12 English Standard Version

Follow the Light… 

See there as the sun, bursts, in…

A light beam glowing…a brilliance shining through the world…

Standing still we look upon this illumination…

Black and void we could not see

Who it was until light, came to be…

All creation awakened from sleep

Morning had opened the sky to speak…

And through the window of God’s heaven, peeks

Light was given birth…

We meet…

Ignited was the soul of man…

No one could see or understand…

Until that light burned fierce and deep…

The light of God revealed; we awakened from the darkest sleep…

Shine and glimmer, we travel in delight…

When blessed we were, to receive our sight…

Light, I follow day and night…

Daystar…living, giving us might!!

To carry on in a darkened place…

Jesus is the light of grace…

Waves of brilliance…fill the face…

Of the heart, who follow the Light!

The Father said to his servant:

Go to my home town and there you will find

A woman for my son. Tell her father, I’ve sent gold, silver and wine…

The servant goes and finds, in the town of his master’s birth

A young woman of honor, virtue, and great worth…

“My master has sent me, to betroth you for his son.

Are you willing? Are you the one?”

Soft eyes and soft heart she speaks in humility…

“I am most willing, to go with thee…”

The servant was sent to bring the woman to the son…

New life, new hope, new journey, has begun….

The servant went to find (A wife for Isaac)

So they called Rebekah. “Are you willing to go with this man?” they asked her And she replied, “Yes, I will go.” Genesis 24:58

God sends the Holy Spirit, to seek us. So, are you willing to go? Your response, “Yes, I will go.”
