Death Valley is Only a Pathway
Though the shadow-of-death surrounds me, as I walk through Death-Valley
I will not be afraid and I will not fear…
For the one who walks with me is greater than any doubts I may hear…
I trust in the one who is greater than any terror, any foe…
I will walk and as I go…

In Him I put my trust, in Him I am bold!!!
The shadow beckons and nips at my heels…

Though fires want to devour me and beast try to take my life…
You have no authority to destroy me, because I am of the Bride of Christ!
So, be gone you feeble, slithering, defeated outcast…
Angel armies have arrived at last…
Blood bought, set apart, called and redeemed…I am a Child of the Mighty God-King!!
Washed in the blood of Jesus…
Sanctified by His Word…
Healed by His stripes…
Saved by his Love!!!
Delivered, sung over, blessed by the best!!
My walk through death valley was only a test!!!
Hear my testimony…and come walk with Jesus and me…

Victory Prayer
Jesus, I humbly come before your throne of grace. I worship and adore you Lord! You are my hiding place. You are my high tower, I run into to that place to find peace and hope. You are my healer and my deliverer. Lord, there are so many hurting and struggling some are afraid and weary. some are dying. You said, do not be afraid and do not grow weary…in the world there will be trouble but be of good cheer for you have overcome the world. Lord, help us to look to you the author and finisher of our faith. You have written the story of life. You are alive and you gave us the gift of life. Help us to return to our first love. To know without a doubt that you are taking care of us. No matter what the world throws at us. No matter what lies try to deceive us. No amount of sickness or trouble is greater than your love for us. You are the word. And your word says WE WIN!
Let us look past the suffering and the sorrow. Let us take up our sword of the Spirit and fight the good fight of faith! Take all fear and doubt and unbelief and restore a right spirit within us.
Fill us once more with a refreshing of your Holy Spirit and know, that No weapon formed against us will prosper…set our feet on the solid rock and let us be immovable, unstoppable, victorious and steadfast in our resolve to live for you! For to live is Christ and die is gain!!!
The enemy is trying to kick our butts right now but Jesus, he cannot stand against the Standard, that you have already won the war!! Help us to remember…to set a remembrance before us that greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world!!
Lord, I pray right now for total healing, total deliverance, total salvation and full of the Holy Ghost and fire to rise up within each of your Children and fight the good fight of faith!!! I rebuke the enemy by the power and authority of the Son of God, Jesus Christ and I say NO MORE!! You cannot take their life…that Jesus has a reason and purpose for each life he has called with a holy calling and right now the tide is turning around for full recovery…In the mighty name of Jesus!! Dear Mama,
I’m writing you this letter, although I know you’ll never read it because, well, you now reside in heaven. It’s been six years since you went home. I miss you every day. I think of you when I see the kids and grandkids and Oh, how I wish, you could have been around a little longer, to enjoy them. I understand though and it’s ok, because one day I’ll be seeing you again.
I know you can’t be with us now, but I just needed to talk to you. In the past six years there have been so many changes in our family and in our world. I often think, what would mama do if she were here? I know one thing for sure, you’d be praying. I want to let you know that I’m on the prayer team at our Church, you’d be so proud. God has done some amazing things in my life. You know how you told me that my latter days would be greater than my former days? You were right about that. God has blessed me more than I can tell. I don’t move from one place to another anymore, that’s progress. Bob has been the best thing that ever happened to me. He’s kind and patient and tells me he loves me just the way I am. I know you prayed long and hard about that. God heard your prayers. I can still hear your voice as you knelt by your bed and cried out for your family to be saved and to live for God. That’s still a work in progress but they do love the Lord.
Mom, tomorrow will be the anniversary of your going home. It still hurts…but only because I miss you so very much! I miss our talks about the Lord and praying together. I miss thrift store shopping and watching our favorite shows on TV. I miss singing together and watching you embroider. I miss hearing you preach on Sunday’s and I miss your pot roast. I’m grateful that you don’t have to suffer with cancer anymore and I wouldn’t bring you back even if I could. Because I know you’re no longer sick. You’re signing and dancing with the angels. You’re hanging out with Jesus and your mama and with brothers and sister. You probably have them all learning a brand-new song by now. I know you loved to swim, I bet the rivers in heaven are fantastic. Is it true the streets are made of pure gold? Are there mansions and little cabins by a flowing brook? Do you have a rose garden? Does everyone have a specific job they do? I know you can’t answer me, but I’d like to think that somehow, you know how very much I love you and miss you. We all do. Maybe that would be too sad for you to know…so I’ll just close with this.
Mama, thank you for being my mother. Thank you for loving us so much. Thank you for the life you gave and served and for telling us about Jesus and his love.
I’m getting older and I’m starting to feel it a bit. When you’re young you don’t think about growing old. I guess that’s a good thing. Growing older is not for whips that’s for sure. You’d always say, “I’m not old, I’ve just been here a long time. I understand a whole lot better now, why you did some things you did. I have a lot more compassion for the elderly too. I appreciate little babies and adore their innocence. I want to tell the youth not to abuse their bodies and to use wisdom in the decisions they make. Life choices follow you all the days of your life. The good news though, is, that when we mess up, we can be forgiven. We don’t have to stay a mess. God’s grace truly is sufficient. Jesus has redeemed us.
Enough said. I want you to know that your prayers are still being answered. I love you mom, I always will. I know you love me too. You love all your children. (inside joke).

Are you tired of being sick, depressed, anxious, filled with fear and unbelief…I say to the enemy…NO MORE!!

When you’re beaten so far down in the pit…there is no where else to look, but up!

For when you look up and see the wide-open sky…know that Jesus is looking at you and he is with you and he is sending you help…but if you wallow in self-pity and defeat, you tie his hands and make it difficult for him to help you!
You have to do your part…
Have faith, take action…if it’s making yourself stand up and begin to speak and say, “In the name of Jesus, the Lord, rebuke you Satan, whatever devil is whipping your butt right now…he’ll keep right on doing it as long as you let him…So stop and tell him, it’s over, he is no longer aloud to beat you up…he is no longer welcome in your house…In the Name of Jesus, devil you’re out of here!!!” Then begin to praise and worship Jesus…that’s drawing close to God, resisting the devil and he Has to, he has to run from you!! That’s God’s word!!
Amen and Amen! So Be It!!

Romans 10:8-10 The Message 4-10 The earlier revelation was intended simply to get us ready for the Messiah, who then puts everything right for those who trust him to do it. Moses wrote that anyone who insists on using the law code to live right before God soon discovers it’s not so easy—every detail of life regulated by fine print! But trusting God to shape the right living in us is a different story—no precarious climb up to heaven to recruit the Messiah, no dangerous descent into hell to rescue the Messiah. So, what exactly was Moses saying?
The word that saves is right here,
as near as the tongue in your mouth,
as close as the heart in your chest.
It’s the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming word to God— “Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!”
The Lion Of Judah
Please read this prayerfully and seek the Lord for yourself to see if your spirit agrees. It’s either of the Lord or it’s not. But I truly believe it is from the Lord…He always confirms his word. God bless you and thank you!
As I was praying this morning, I had a vision of this magnificent Lion. Of course, lions are, magnificent but this one was exceptional! The lion wasn’t lying down he was standing, watching, waiting.
He, the lion, represented the Lion of Judah, Jesus!
Through the tribe of Judah, the lion symbol came to represent the blessing, majesty, and even divine protection.
Lions are symbols of courage and power which are imperative that Christians should have when it relates to God. When it relates to God, Christians believe taking care of each other and helping each other just like the lioness, they are big caretakers and they will help take care of an abandoned cub. Why is the tribe of Judah so important?
The tribe of Judah settled in the region south of Jerusalem and in time became the most powerful and most important tribe. Not only did it produce the great kings David and Solomon but also, it was prophesied, the Messiah would come from among its member.
The Hebrew name for Judah, Yehudah (יהודה), literally “thanksgiving” or “praise,” is the noun form of the root Y-D-H (ידה), “to thank” or “to praise.” His birth is recorded at Gen.
After praying in the Spirit, I was given this message.
Hear my voice daughter and listen with your heart and Spirit. Know that I am God!
I am with you and in you. Do not fear nor be afraid. No weapon formed against you will prosper. All who rise up against you will be stopped, they aren’t coming against you but they are coming against the living God. (I perceived he was talking about spirits.)
He said, I raise up and I tear down. I restore and I build up my church. Hell cannot stop it or come against it. For it is I who says live and they live. I say die and they are no more. I have mercy on who I have mercy but my mercy will not always cover those who come against me and mine.
Yes, I am calling. I am calling by day and by night. I am calling my children to prayer and fasting. I am calling them to war in the Spirit and I am fighting along side them. Victory is already won. That is why you can not look in the natural realm. What it looks like to the natural eye is only a deception.
The truth is seen with the spiritual eyes~ eyes of faith, kept on me and my word confirms it.
Lift up a Cry of War~ by praying in the Spirit! You can only fight spirit by the Holy Spirit~ not in the flesh! The flesh is weak and cannot stand, it falls, but, in My Spirit, you will stand Victorious and glorious in My Spirit and in My will.
Many perish because they are fighting the devil in the flesh. The demons laugh at that!
Worship brings the flesh under submission to the Spirit. Worship strips away all the fake and false appearances of appearing real~ what people call the real, is fake! The true, is Spirit!
Repent with a contrite heart. Seek me with your whole heart and you will find me and I will answer. Says the Lord!
Don’t look for healing and deliverance. That will come as you seek me!
Disease and mental disorders cannot survive in the presence of the Holy God!
No sickness, no disease, no demon can stay in my presence, My Spirit for I AM, the Living God in the Name of Jesus. They have to cease control. Then pure love, pure joy, and the pure peace of God will flood the physical body and when the spirit surrenders to the Lord Jesus Christ, they are set free!
That’s when miracles happen. It’s the physical manifestation of my hand on them that touches and delivers them when they get their flesh (their way of thinking; the carnal mind) out of the way. This makes room for the Holy Spirit to come in and work!
When Jesus prayed and laid hands on someone to be healed, or spoke a word over them to be set free it was by the Holy Spirit being accepted, not by the flesh but by the Spirit being accepted so that he could move on them; that is faith…it’s letting go of the flesh, doubt and fear and unbelief, thoughts and feelings, natural ways; then believing without seeing, so that the Holy Spirit can move and deliver in the Spirit what the flesh, the physical body and mind needs. It’s taking Jesus at His word then deliverance will manifest itself!
It’s letting go of the natural laws or ways of thinking and surrendering to the super-natural laws without understanding but believing Jesus’ word is true, then the miracle happens.
It is by My Spirit says the Lord!
Stop thinking with the mind and Start living in the Spirit of God!
I saw the Lion in a vision the whole time I was praying! The Lion of Judah represents Jesus, powerful, majestic, victor, protector, deliverer, the One who watches over his children and gives them Life!!

Tiny Offering
Standing before the throne of God, what can I possibly bring, all I have is this tiny offering…
It’s been broken and hurt more times than I can count and putting it back together well, there are cracks and scars only he has seen, surely, he wouldn’t want this offering.
It’s all I have to offer though, should I give it, or should I go and leave nothing in its place.
The Lord stands and extends his grace…
Child, that’s all I’ve ever wanted…
That broken, wounded, and scarred heart of yours…
You see, what I do best is mend those broken hearts and bind the wounds that bleed…
Your tiny offering is all I need!
Give me your heart!
Here it is Lord, take all of me!
And as I bow in humility, my contrite heart is my tiny offering…
I give it willingly to thee!

The Letter
This story was on my Facebook Memory page today. It still blesses me even now when I need it more than ever. Thank you, God, and thank you Mom! I love you. July 16, 2015, the anniversary of mom going home to Heaven.
Good morning precious friends, brothers and sisters,
I’ve been struggling with some things lately and I’d like to share this with you if you don’t mind.
A few weeks ago, I watched a movie and in this movie the mother had died but she had written letters and left them in various places she knew each child would find. I thought how wonderful that would be and I wished that my mom had left a letter for us and I would like to do that for my children. Then I thought, oh well what better message could mom have left us than the way she lived her life. Still, it would have been nice. So, I picked up her Bible and read it, but no letters were there. I wondered if maybe she had written something in some of her other journals, but I’ve gone through all of them and didn’t find anything for us personally.
I have not felt very good lately, physically and emotionally. Missing my mom and my family it’s really difficult at times especially when you are growing older, and time seems to fly by so quickly and yet at times as if it is standing still. But you know what? God hears us even when we whisper the simplest request…
Over the last four days I began having heart palpitations and so very tired, so on the third day I went to see the doctor. He said it wasn’t life threatening and he would order a heart monitor and we’d go from there. I have been sleeping a lot because I just don’t have any energy. This morning I woke and felt stronger, I know prayers have been going up for me. God is faithful.
So, I ate some breakfast, let me back up a minute. About a month ago the Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and instructed me to read from the Bible the Epistles; I read some and then got distracted. This morning He reminded me to go back and keep reading the Epistles. I decided to read from a Bible called Women of Faith Study Bible, I had not read from it in years. I read my Spirit Filled Bible, but it was by my bed.
I read the book of 2 Peter and onto 1John when some papers fell out of the back of the Bible. It was an email from November 2007, which my sister Barbara had sent to me when I was working. I guess I had tucked it in my Bible. It was about being an old person. I noticed there was something handwritten on the back and so I opened and read…
Dear Marla,
By mistake Clyde brought your Bible up here to the hospital thinking it was mine. Today is Feb. 26, 2010, the anniversary of Mama’s passing, this note reminded me of her and the way she thought. It brought a little tug at my heart, but peace too. Because I know someday, I will be gone too. But not forgotten. The last phrase got to me, like not wasting time about the past. Like Sister Nora always says, “flush it” Please forgive me for writing on your letter, but I need to tell you that you and Barbara mean the world to me, and I’ve always been proud of you. May God bless you with Wisdom and Understanding and Much Peace. Know too that there are not perfect people “only forgiven.” With God’s mercy and help we will make it.

It was a message especially for me from my mom. It was no mistake. I burst out crying because God had heard my heart’s desire and just when I needed my mom the most there, she was telling me to be happy.
You cannot tell me there is no God. You cannot tell me he doesn’t answer prayer…too many times…he’s spoken to me and shown me his grace and love and help. Even to give me a simple letter from my mother who has since gone to heaven July will be two years. It was no mistake that I picked up that Bible. God knew the letter was there and he had wanted me to find it and today as I obeyed his prompting his precious gift was there waiting for me.
Tears are flowing, tears of joy because mom had left me a special letter after all these years it was there waiting for me to find it on this day when I needed her encouragement and love. No, she will never be forgotten…I love you mom! And God, I love you beyond life!!! Thank you! Amen.
