I’ve had sixty-six Thanksgivings in my lifetime those are all Thanksgivings in the past. I can’t say I remember the first few but as I grew, I remember my mother and my grandmother, in a little country kitchen, cooking. There was a turkey or a ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, fresh green beans, cornbread ‘dressing,’ granny would sometimes put oysters in her dressing it was delicious. Giblet gravy and lots of pies. Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, chocolate pie, orange pie. We loved her pies. She always made a pan of homemade biscuits and sweet iced tea and coffee. Oh, the memories. Granny had seven children and they all had children and so there was lots of family around. Some years there were more family than other times because they couldn’t all make it home. But as time passed family moved away and started their own family gatherings.
When I was about ten, we moved to the suburbs in Tampa, FL. Thanksgiving was still full of great food and family and friends. As the years went by, loved ones passed away and times changed, but those Thanksgiving Day’s past stay with me.
Thanksgiving present brings me to our current time. I’m reminded to be thankful for all that God has brought us through. We are blessed with new faces as new babies and new relatives and new friends gather in our lives. My mom used to say, “Make new friends but keep the old, some are silver and some are gold!” A saying she picked up along her journey through life. It’s true though and it holds to this day.
I’m thankful for my four sons and their families. For my grandbabies and extended family. God has blessed us beyond measure.
I’m thankful for Bob it took 40 years to find my life’s partner, we’ve been married eight years and thank God, he was granted a new heart just nineteen days ago, we didn’t know for certain that he would be here this Thanksgiving. I had faith that he would be that’s all any of us can have. Each and every day is a gift and a blessing from the Lord. I do not take that for granted.
Remember, you are making memories for Thanksgiving Future for many generations, make them count!
God bless you on this Thanksgiving Present, unwrap it with love, peace and joy to all who gather around your table!
From our home to yours,
Bob and Marla O’Neill November 23, 2021

First of all, let me just say this, what I’m about to write has nothing to do with being “politically correct.” Quite frankly I don’t know how to do that, or, even understand exactly what that means. I come from a different time where the truth was the truth. This is not about men verses women or women verses men or. any of the “others” I don’t even understand. So, with that being said, let me get on to what is on my heart to share. I love you all, Jesus loves you more! 😊
When God created Adam and Eve, and by the way this is coming from a Christian’s view point. The account is found in the first book of the Bible, (Genesis 1:26 -5:5.) The following is coming from my imagination. Thoughts of how I think it could have been because we don’t have all of the details. We do have enough to understand that God is an Awesome Creator.
In the beginning, God, created a man and called him, Adam, in Hebrew adomah meaning, man. Adam was strong and highly intelligent. He had to be to live in God’s vast garden where Adam took care of and tended all the plants and animals. God gave Adam the ability to name all the animals. Can you imagine a task like that? I imagine him swimming with the alligators and hippos in the river. Playfully catching fish and naming each species, then throwing them back just to see them swish away with no fear.
Climbing trees with the monkeys. Eating grapes with the magnificent apes. Running in tall grass with the lions and being tossed from an elephant’s tusk to ride high above the ground on its back. Calling out to the eagles as they dive in to lift him up and soar high about the mountains. Adam, a man after God’s own heart. He was swift as a cheetah. Harmless as a dove. His intelligence came directly from the I AM. Loved without measure. Strong as an ox. Brave as a lion. Tender and kind as a deer. Generous as the *bonobos (monkey). Loyal as man’s best friend, the dog. Keep in mind this was from before the “fall.” Yes, Adam was a man’s man. He was responsible for taking care of all of God’s garden and he was dedicated and reliable. We don’t know how long all of this took, but let’s just say it had to have been years. He never tired and like God, he rested every 7th day.
But his most devoted time spent in the garden was in the early mornings where he met and walked and talked with God. I suppose that during these times he shared his heart and soul with his creator, who became his father and best friend. God saw that Adam was lonely and he said, It’s not good that man should be alone.
He caused Adam to take a long peaceful nap and then out of his side he took one of Adam’s ribs and formed the most magnificent of all his creations, you guessed it, woman. Adam named his wife, Eve, meaning life.
She was gentle and kind, not as strong as the man. They complimented each other and Adam was beside himself with love for her. He was at her, beck and call; he would do anything for her. God had given them to be help-mates to each other. He gave them one rule. Of the trees in all of the garden you may eat the fruit but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat. For in the day that you do, you will die. (Genesis 2:17)
Life was bliss. They had peace and comfort with each other until one day when everything would change forever. The serpent, Satan, tempted Eve and she gave in to the lies.
At this point I’m not going to give all the details; you can read about that in Genesis. What I want to get at is this. Man, Adam, was strong and brave and faithful to God. He would never, ever, disobey his father God and the serpent knew this about him. So, what does the serpent do? He comes subtly to the woman. Whispers his suggestion to her. “Surely God will not kill you if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He’s a loving God after all, are you sure, that is what God said? He caused doubt in her mind and she fell for it.
After the fall and all of these eons later, the serpent, the craftiest of all the animals, is still using the same tactics…he suggests something to our minds and for the most part, we fall for it. We are still falling after all these years. But God…gave us a redeemer, Jesus the only begotten son of God came to restore all that Satan stole from mankind.
When God saves a man and that man lays down the skin-garments of sin and takes up the garments of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus, there is no stopping him.
God has an order to the Universe. He ordained the earth to move and breathe and operate according to His design. He ordained man and woman to move and breathe and operate according to His design. Yes, women can lead, when they are born anew and are filled with the with Holy Spirit. I thank God that they are the first to step out in faith. I praise God for their design. After all, I am a woman. But I’m here to tell you that when a man takes up his true identity and begins to step out in faith and live the life God has ordained him to live; No demon in heaven or hell can stop him. That authority, that God has placed within him causes the demons to tremble with fear when they are bond and cast out by a Holy Spirit filled, walking, talking full of the word of God, man.
That’s why men have been attacked and silenced by Satan because he knows that if one man will dedicate his life to the service of Jesus Christ, kingdoms will crumble. Sickness and diseases will cease. Souls will pour in with multitudes for the living God at the obedience of one man who follows God.
So, men, God is calling you right now to take back your families, take back your God-life, step up and stand up to the enemy and fight with the Power, Love and Sound Mind of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!!
I witnessed this the other day. Bob had been out of the hospital a few days when a young man was desperately being attacked by the enemy. He came over to our home Bob talked with him and when Bob prayed for this young man. I’ve never seen him pray with such fervor and power of the Holy Spirit before. God has done something unbelievable in Bob’s life since his surgery and I’m doing the happy dance of praise to God for what is taking place.
Women stand in agreement with your men and let God do the building and restoring in your house hold.
And we will say like Joshua said, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! Amen
*Bonobos give food like apples and bananas to other bonobos who aren’t a part of their group. These cuddly primates give presents to strangers because they enjoy having new interactions and expanding their social network. Bonobos from different groups will even travel together for days at a time. (from Google)
Their very names are indicative of their roles. Adam comes from the Hebrew adomah, meaning “man.” Eve is from the Hebrew for “life.” The complete biblical account of Adam and Eve can be found in Genesis 1:26 to Genesis 5:5.
Adam named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all human beings. Adam named his wife Eve [Life] because she became the mother of every living person. Genesis 3:20
Joshua 24:15 New International Version 15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

This past weekend I had the opportunity to serve at our Freedom Conference. This is probably the 5th conference that I have either attended or served. I share this because it was at this conference that the Lord began to speak to my heart and open my eyes to the reality of Shame.
As the speaker shared on the subject of shame, she said, “the first emotion Adam and Eve felt when they sinned was shame.” That really spoke to me! They saw they were naked…so they hid from God. The Lord also reminded me that they tried to cover their shame with fig leaves.
Now God knew they had disobeyed Him and sinned, and yet we see that He came looking for them. He pursued them, calling them by name to come out of hiding and into the light in order to deal with their sin and shame.
I love that God didn’t condemn them. He lovingly asked them why they were hiding so they could confess their sin. We also see how God graciously and lovingly took an animal and made clothes to cover their nakedness and shame. A sacrifice had to be made for their sin and shame.
The Good News is, we no longer have to walk in shame! Jesus, the precious Lamb of God, the perfect sacrifice, bore our sin and shame. God sent His own Son to bear our sin and shame on the cross so we would never have to bear it again.
God reminded me how Jesus hung naked on the cross, lifted high for all to see. Fully exposed…our sin and shame dealt with once and for all.
God never intended for us to live in shame. It’s the devil who wants to keep us in bondage to shame. Jesus paid it all in full!
God wants to clothe you with the garments of salvation and cover you with Jesus’ robe of righteousness. An uneven exchange…we give Him our sin and shame and He gives us salvation and righteousness (right standing with God).
We can not undo or change our past, but we can change our future by confessing our sins and bringing to Jesus the areas we feel shame. Things we have never shared with anyone else, we can bring to Jesus. Beloved, He already knows what it is, He’s just waiting for you to surrender it to Him and let Him carry it for you.
God is pursuing you. He is calling you by name and asking you to come out of hiding into His glorious light, where you can deal with it together. He loves you so much!
This has been so heavy on my heart. I thank God for giving me the right words and the courage to share this with you.
In Freedom we say “freed people free people”. God wants to set you free today. Will you respond to His call?
Sincerely,
Robin St. Pierre

I would like to share something with you. This is something that I have been moved to share and it is with some emotion that I do so.
A long time ago I realized that one day my time on earth would be over. I don’t say this to be morbid but we are all born with an expiration date. That’s just the way it is and there’s nothing we can do about it. So, what to do about this… we can fret over that day, some day. Or, we can decide to live like today is our last. I will not say that I live like that as I don’t bother to worry or think about ‘that day’. I just don’t worry about it. But, when ‘that day’ does come, what next? Anything, or everything.
I guess most of us don’t think of it either as we just put ‘that day’ out of our mind.
Like I said, I didn’t think about it much, until something happens which causes me to think, could this be it?
This happened recently and I was surprised that I wasn’t freaked out or stressed. Let me tell you the story.
Throughout my life I’ve tried to eat right, sure that’s true, Not! I try, but food is good and when there’s something that I liked, I ate it. About 37 years ago I had an accident which could have ended my life. While there have been other times where I could have died this one was so serious that I was in the hospital in a coma for a week. The other times were slips off mountain trails or sometimes stupid mistakes. That sort of thing.
There was one time that a tire came off a car in the oncoming lane and, well had it bounced just right or had I not been traveling at the speed I was traveling, the tire, on its rim, could have smashed into my car just where I was sitting. That would have been fatal. But, on its last bounce I traveled under it and was clear. I watched in my rear-view mirror, as it rolled off the road missing the other cars and hit a chain link fence leaving a huge ’dent’. To dent a chain link fence takes a lot of force.
Well back to the accident 37 years ago… I fell off a ladder and landed on my butt but that was not the problem. I then slammed my head into the concrete not once but twice. This caused the coma. I’m told that there was a piece of rebar only a few inches from where my head landed, twice. Had I not landed where I did, the rebar could have punctured my scull and well, that would have been that.
I of course didn’t remember the hours before the accident so I explained it as it was explained to me. As a consequence of my injury, I lost all my sense of smell, so tasting things was, well, different to say the least. Over the years, some smell has returned and taste as well. But, not nearly like it was before. This of course changed how I ate. Things that ‘tickle’ the five basic tastes were my focus. Things like sweets for example. I love sweet things. Also, food that has strong flavors are not strong to me but rather just taste good.
So, move forward 25 years or so. My job took me ‘on the road’ and eating out was the only option in most situations. You know what that means… restaurants and fast food. The ‘good’ stuff. Well, the stuff that tastes good.
Now move forward another 12 years. I’m now 67. On my last doctor visit I had gained some weight. Like 15 pounds or more from where my ‘normal’ was. But I jump ahead a little.
Over the past when I was stressed my chest would tighten. This happened especially in the very late ‘80s until I was proven right. You see, I have ‘forethought’ and this time it was that our company was going to close all the stores. I had been with this company 14+ years and was going to retire working for them. That is, until they decided Q1 of 1990 to send us all to a manager’s meeting. At this meeting we were given our walking papers.
When I say that I have ‘forethought’ I’m not saying that I’m physic but rather I have the ability to predict things, sometimes… well most times. I’ve been right more than I’ve been wrong. We all have gifts that we’re given. And, well this is one of mine.
I knew some many years ago that one day I’d have to deal with some heart blockages and would need a stent or two.
Over the past maybe 10 years, if I over exerted myself, my chest would tighten like it did in 1990. This happened before this and I just ‘knew’ that I was out of shape. But I was too lazy to do anything about it. About 7 years ago I had a stress test and everything seemed clear. Over the past 3 years my chest tightening has gotten more regular, but only when I exerted myself. When I was at the doctor, I mentioned that I would like to schedule a stress test. I explained that if my chest tightening was acid reflux or something not heart related that I wanted to exert myself to ‘get in better shape’. You see, the pain would go away rather quickly especially if I ate Tums.
The stress test was scheduled for Friday Oct. 29 at 1:00pm and I was told it would take 3 hours. I got there and we started at 1:00pm. I was told to walk the tread mill until my heart rate reached 130. I did and was in agony. They finished the EKG and sat me down. Then they took my blood pressure and it had dropped. Apparently, this is not a good sign and the test was over. It’s now 1:30pm. So much for a 3-hour stress test. The PA told me that I have two choices. I could see a cardiologist ‘now’ or be admitted to the ER which was around the corner.
They found a cardiologist in our group and I was able to see him at 2:30pm. When he looked at the ‘results’ he said that I would see him at the hospital the next week for an Angioplasty. As he walked us out and told the nurse to schedule me STAT. I didn’t hear anything over the weekend which I didn’t worry about. But on Monday when I didn’t hear anything I called and they said I should come in on Tuesday for an Echo Cardiogram. I then got a call that I was to be at the hospital at 7:00am on Wednesday for the Angioplasty. This was November 3rd. I did and they performed the Angioplasty.
When the doctor came out to review the findings he said “You’re lucky to be alive”. At this point I still wasn’t freaking out. Remember, I knew that something like this would happen and that it would be OK. But when he said “You’re lucky to be alive” I translated that into you should not be alive. You see, there were four blockages. Two vessels were 100% blocked and the other two ‘significantly’ blocked. One of them was the widow maker. They were blocked to the point where any stents were just not possible. So, for me to have any chance of many more years the next step would need to be surgery. I knew they would be able to fix me because the doctor said so. But what if the worst happened, what about Marla and my girls…
I was ambulanced to JFK hospital where I spent the night and surgery was scheduled for the next day. On November 4th, I underwent the knife. I didn’t freak out and stress was not a factor. Remember, I knew that this was an eventuality and that things would be fine. But emotions were high and Marla prayed for strength to deal with the situation and, we trusted God that I would come out fine.
The surgery was around 1:00pm on the 4th and when the doctor came to Marla, he told her that all went well. Still, the following 9 days would be an emotional rollercoaster. I don’t want to explain the entire recovery because that’s boring but I will tell you this. I was not thirsty so I didn’t drink. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat. This went on for 4 days. Wrong move. My not drinking caused some dehydration. That then added some days to my stay at the hospital because my BP would drop severely when standing. To the point that at one point I nearly passed out while standing. I was finally released on November 13th, 15 days after the stress test.
I say all of this to share ‘peace’. My peace which I’ve been able to keep for most of my life comes from my faith. While that faith has grown over the past few years, I believe its roots have been there from the beginning.
I thank you for reading this. If this were to happen to you or even something less severe and you would not be at peace, please let me know. I believe that we should talk. If you have a relationship with Jesus and know him to be your rock, but still would be freaking out, we should talk. If you don’t have that relationship, we really need to talk.
When I say talk, we can start with texts or emails but if you don’t feel that would good enough let’s talk on the phone and when I’m fully recovered, we can talk in person. My email address: (oneillrj@pbapi.com)
Sincerely with all my heart,

All is quiet, calm and peaceful
In morning light, I have a conversation with Abba.
Holy worship, for Holy God…
Whispers of pure love
From God’s heart to mine…
A steady flow in time…
Light, comes dancing in the room…
Dispelling the gloom…
Dancing-light; flickering about;
Tiny beams among shadows fill the room with gladness…
Angels have come to worship the King with me…
My soul explodes into a million tiny eruptions as living waters flow from Emanuel’s veins,
JOY, overtakes me…
I am filled with an abundance of gratitude, and overpowering love for the one who gives me life!
No fear, no doubt, no pain; what remains is a knowing
That the angels have drawn near, to hear,
God’s child, worshipping the creator of all things!
The One who is, and who was, and who is to come!!!
Time spent with Papa God!

Psalm 46:10 New International Version
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

42 Psalms 42 and 43 were originally composed as one psalm and later made into two.
-
42 Korah was the great-grandson of Levi. The sons of Korah (translated here as the “prophetic singers of Korah’s clan”) were Levitical singers. David chose them to preside over the music of the tabernacle-tent on Mount Zion.
-
42:1 The literal Hebrew is “as the deer pants for the riverbank [water’s edge].” This translation takes the metaphor of a hunted deer and puts it into terms that transfer the meaning into today’s context. David was describing the passion and longing he had that was yet unfulfilled.
Psalm 46 New King James Version – God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song for Alamoth.
46 God is our refuge and strength, A[a] very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the [b]midst of the sea; 3 Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the [c]tabernacle of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be [d]moved; God shall help her, just [e]at the break of dawn. 6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

After the storm…
Hewn out of the rock, steep mountain flows with waters as tiny crystals dance…
Rainbows bow, in the sun…
Forest creatures sneak about to catch a glimpse of day-light
The cedars reach for the sky, while birds sing in sweet delight…
The dawning of a new day accepts the kiss of peace as life,
Awakens, yawns and begins again.
Our creator looks on with confidence, knowing we are His…
A sound so melodious pierces the quiet, His joy is heard in every heart…
God touches the earth with the kiss of peace…
Troubles cease…
Pain leaves…
Loneliness and doubt bends to the perfect will of God!
He places the kiss of peace on each cheek, smiles and says,
“Do not fear nor be afraid, for I am the Prince of Wholeness!”

Psalm 29:11 The Passion Translation
11 This is the one who gives his strength and might to his people. This is the Lord giving us his kiss of peace. [i]
Footnote: i 29:11 In Jewish synagogues this psalm is read on the first day of the Feast of Pentecost. The Christian church was born on Pentecost two thousand years ago when the mighty “storm” of the Spirit came into the upper room. See Acts 2. The last word of this psalm is “peace.” It begins with a storm, but God brings his people peace even in the midst of storms.
Isaiah 41:10 New International Version
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 9:5-7 The Message
2-7 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. For those who lived in a land of deep shadows— light! sunbursts of light! You repopulated the nation, you expanded its joy. Oh, they’re so glad in your presence! Festival joy! The joy of a great celebration, sharing rich gifts and warm greetings. The abuse of oppressors and cruelty of tyrants— all their whips and clubs and curses— Is gone, done away with, a deliverance as surprising and sudden as Gideon’s old victory over Midian. The boots of all those invading troops, along with their shirts soaked with innocent blood, Will be piled in a heap and burned, a fire that will burn for days! For a child has been born—for us! the gift of a son—for us! He’ll take over the running of the world. His names will be: Amazing Counselor, Strong God, Eternal Father, Prince of Wholeness. His ruling authority will grow, and there’ll be no limits to the wholeness he brings. He’ll rule from the historic David throne over that promised kingdom. He’ll put that kingdom on a firm footing and keep it going With fair dealing and right living, beginning now and lasting always. The zeal of God-of-the-Angel-Armies will do all this.

A little girl was born, I’ll call her Surely, because, she will live without danger or risk of injury or loss. She will cause everyone she meets along her way to be safe. She was sent by the Good Shepherd, Yeshua.
Two years later another little girl is born. I’m calling her Goodness, it’s the sixth fruit of the Spirit, which actually means holy, pure and righteousness. She will follow God with godliness in the way she lives her life with a heart that is pure.
And now a third little girl is born. I will call her Mercy. Mercy will walk with an attitude of forgiveness. When wronged or mistreated she will extend mercy, she will forgive, seventy-times- seven, because, her example is the Prince of Peace, Yeshua. And so, here is my story.
I walked alone in a desert place
Where life was hard and without a trace, of safety, love or grace.
My enemies lurked on every side. And had I not been Spirit filled,
I would have most certainly, died.
But Surely, followed me, keeping me safe…
Along with her sister’s Goodness and Mercy!
Goodness was pure and sweet.
Never a stranger did she meet.
For God dwelt within her.
All she’d meet was in awe.
They wanted to know this godly one, who followed me, in the darkened streets.
Mercy, was a gentle soul, but she was also, strong, holy and bold!
She followed me in solitude with quiet repose, forgiving all those, who dared to mock our God!
Forgiveness is a rare thing these days,
But in all our ways…when we forgive, we’ll be forgiven.
And as I live this Holy life, I’ll never be alone…
The house of the Lord is where I dwell, it will be my final home…
While, Surely, Goodness and Mercy, follow!

Psalm 23:6 Or To the end of my days, lit. For length of days
Definitions of Surely, Goodness and Mercy
1: in a sure manner: a archaic: without danger or risk of injury or loss: safely.
The sixth fruit of the Spirit is goodness. … But the Bible tells us that the word ‘good’ actually means holy, pure and righteousness. Literally goodness is godliness. Goodness can often be seen in our actions, but our heart also has to be pure. The goodness of Christ is to be demonstrated in our lives every day. Sep 2, 2020
As Pope Francis writes in the very first sentence of Misericordiae Vultus,
“Jesus Christ is the face of God’s mercy.”
At its core, mercy is forgiveness.
Fill in your own name…
The Lord is Marla’s Shepherd
Surely, Goodness and Mercy will follow Marla all the days of her life and she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!
Safety, purity and righteousness, as well as forgiveness…will follow me all the days of my life…

Be still! Be still!
BE, Still!
Be still! Be still!
BE, Still!
OH! BE STILL…
BE STILL…
BE STILL…
LISTEN…
SHH…
LISTEN…
God is speaking…
I hear him in the ticking clock.
I hear him in the solitude of silence.
I hear him in the early morning as I sleep…
He whispers, be, still.
I hear him as I walk throughout the day.
Gently nudging me to be still, so I can hear him say, “Child, I love you.”
Our small group has been studying “Frequency, Tune in to hear God” by Robert Morris. Today after the ladies and I met, I was going to write something about the Voice of God… so I typed in the Voice of God on Google and this beautiful song came up on YouTube.
The next few minutes turned into a precious time of worship and adoration with the Lord!
God is speaking all of the time, but in our busyness, we can’t hear him. We have to be intentional and quiet ourselves, and then listen. Sometimes he speaks through a friend, or, a foe. Sometimes through a Bible verse or a message preached. Sometimes he speaks through a stranger. Sometimes he speaks through a book or a song…but he especially loves to speak to us in a whisper. Because you have to be tuned in to hear him.
If you tune into the right frequency all the static ceases, all the worry and anxiety go away. The circumstances of life grow dim and is unimportant. When you hear that still, small, voice, in Hebrew it means, whisper. You know, that you know, it is the voice of our loving Heavenly Father. There’s a peace like no other sound. It’s the sound of peace. You’re in the space in between and God meets you there. By His Holy Spirit we are fed. We are led. We are whole and complete. The breath of God breathes on us and we are restored with new life!
Be still child of God and listen…God is speaking.
He wants to give you a revelation, something specifically for you today. Lean in to His whisper!

1 Kings 19:11-13 New King James Version
God’s Revelation to Elijah
11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake;
12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire [a]a still small voice.
13 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Song of Solomon 6:3-5 New King James Version
3 I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies.
Praise of the Shulamite’s Beauty
The Beloved
4 O my love, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, Lovely as Jerusalem, Awesome as an army with banners! 5 Turn your eyes away from me, For they have overcome me. Your hair is like a flock of goats Going down from Gilead.
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18:12-14
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:11-12
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.” John 14:15-17
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Romans 8:15-16

What does it look like, to live a life, for Jesus…?
Is it attending church regularly?
Is it praying without ceasing?
Is it helping the widow and orphans?
Is it traveling to foreign lands?
Is it giving money and time sacrificially?
Is it helping the people who are lost and needy?
Is it telling bible stories?
Is it preaching the good news?
Is it worshipping?
Is it singing songs?
Is it teaching, and exhorting…?
Is it witnessing for Jesus?
What does it look like, in the life of a believer, to live for God?
I thought about this and those questions came to mind. Then I thought some more and asked the Holy Spirit to show me what it looks like.
First it takes humility.
It means letting go of fear and anxiety.
Putting down pride and going to the Lord. How do you go to the Lord if you don’t know him? Glad you asked.
You seek out someone who does know him. Or, you just ask him.
“Lord, show me!”
Start with surrender. Realize you’re a sinner, meaning you’ve missed the mark with God. Then ask him. You can say something like this, “Jesus come into my heart, forgive me of my sins and be the Lord of my life. Show me how to live for you.” Then pick up a Holy Bible, the Word of God and start reading the four Gospels. There are different translations find one that you can read easily. Maybe the New International Version (NIV) or New King James (NKJV).
There is The Old Testament (OT) or (Covenant), located in the first part of the book. The second part of the book is called, The New Testament (NT) or (Covenant.) The first four books of the NT are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They will tell you the story of Jesus’s life.
Before long you’ll begin to know and understand what is expected of you. Become a student of God’s word don’t just read it, study it. You’ll find that Jesus says, do not put off gathering together with other believers on a regular basis. The believers are those who are of the family of the Lord Jesus Christ, which by the way, welcome to the family. You may ask why you do this? Well, because meeting together and reading God’s word, will help you with instructions on how to overcome the struggles in your life. You will encourage one another in the faith, and as you go from day to day, you’ll begin to mature and understand what being a child of God, is all about. You’ll begin the process of being transformed into His likeness.
You will want to be, more like Jesus. You’ll take on His likeness. You’ll become kind and gentle and patient and faithful. You’ll love people even when they don’t love you back. The world’s attractions won’t entice you like they once did. And you’ll want others to know Jesus too.
Your character will change. You’ll go from being angry all of the time to being calmer. You won’t be perfect, remember it’s a process. But your attitudes will change. Circumstances may not change at least not right away, but things will be different inside of you. And, also remember it is by faith through grace that we live. We couldn’t earn salvation or deserve it. It is the free gift of God through Jesus Christ.
You’ll discover that He has given you gifts to use in His service. Maybe become a teacher or preacher or an evangelist. Maybe a missionary. Or maybe just a better you at what you do.
What does it look like?
For everyone it is different but I promise, you will not be the same, because the Holy Spirit now lives inside of you. Full access to our loving Holy God, who loves you without limits. You are unique. You are an individual. God doesn’t make robots you still have a free will to make up your mind you have a choice. But as you grow closer to the Lord, you may say how do I do that? By having a quiet time to talk to the Lord and let him talk to you. He talks to us through his word. Through others. Through a song. You’ll begin to recognize when it’s him and when it’s your mind or the enemy. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about that. But as you read God’s word, you’ll discover many things. But we won’t go into that right now.
Just keep it simple. Pray, which means to communicate with Jesus the Holy Spirit will guide you. Read the Bible. God’s word. Stay in the four gospels at first, because it is less confusing that way. And attend Church, to worship and fellowship with other believers. Do those things and before long you’ll discover what it looks like to live for God! It’s not a bunch of rules this journey with Jesus is a way of life. Fall in love with Jesus and you’ll know exactly what to do and what it should and should not look like.
God bless you on your journey!

Romans 10:8-11 New King James Version 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
1 John 1:9 New International Version 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Hebrews 10:25 Living Bible 25 Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
