Are you a Wimp or a Warrior?

This is NOT, a dress rehearsal…the play has already started and we are supposed to be ready. We are supposed to be in the play not just spectators. But we’ve lost our script…we don’t know our lines and it’s time for us to go on stage…
The battle is raging and our weapons are rusty, broken and we can’t find half of them. How in the world do we expect to fight in the war like that?
The cloud of witnesses is cheering for us, but we’re running with our tails between our legs in the opposite direction.
I’m talking to the Mighty Warriors of God…or should I say the terrified, petrified, full of fear and doubt, wimpy children of God… do you even know who your God is?
It’s Exhortation time…it’s time for a spanking…
When and if, you pray, are you praying hoping God will hear you? Or are you praying like your pants are on fire and you know in whom you are praying too!!
God hasn’t changed. God hasn’t moved. God is still the God of I Can and I Will!
But he’s not going to answer unbelief. He’s not going to honor doubt and fear. He’s not going to listen to lies.
When Jesus prayed Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name…Thy kingdom come, Thy WILL be done…on earth as it is in heaven…
Did you catch that…GOD’S WILL BE DONE…His will is that we prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers…His will is that all would come to repentance and be saved. His will is that we draw near to Him resist the devil and he will flee from us…
God’s will is the covenant he made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…His, will, is the New Covenant he gave to us through the Blood of Christ Jesus.
The early Christians, they were a force to be reckoned with…they didn’t back down…They knew who their God was and IS…eaten by lions…ripped in half…hung on stakes and burned alive…boiled in oil…and still they served the Living God…
What is wrong with us today?
Jesus said, “Can you not stay awake and pray for just one hour?”
People are dying in their sins and are broken and diseased and following the crowd right into hell…and we, “Christians” are worrying about who unfriended us on Facebook. Get real…
WAKE UP!!! God is calling laborers to the harvest…Can you not hear him calling?
He’s searching throughout the world for those who will believe Him and serve Him with their whole heart, mind, body and soul…The harvest is great, the laborers are few…
If you’re not hungry and thirsty for the word of God.
If you’re not seeking Him on a daily basis.
If you’re not in fellowship with other believers and praying.
If God’s not constantly on your mind…then something is terribly wrong…
Get alone with Jesus and ask him to make you hungry and thirsty, ask him to put a deep desire in your heart to seek him. Find a church that preaches the true word of God and go there regularly. Then watch God pour out His Spirit on you and give you new dreams, new visions, a new heart for him and his people.
Time is short…it is not time to be complacent about the things of God. It is not time to play around like you have all the time in the world. It is not time to be a wimp. It is time to fall on your face before God and cry out for the souls who are dying and going to hell. It is time to put on your armor and know the word of God and speak and preach and pray and devote your life to Him…
I am talking to you! The ones who call themselves Christians…Followers of Jesus Christ the Messiah.
I hope you get real mad at me…I hope you get so mad that you tell Jesus on me…when one of my kids used to come pointing a finger at their brother, I knew they were guilty of something. They would be the one who got the correction.
God loves you and He wants the very best for you.
When Jesus said the greatest commandment was to Love God with ALL your heart, all your mind and all your strength and the second to love your neighbor as yourself. He meant what he said.
Because that’s exactly how much he loves you. Actually he loves you more!
If your faith is shallow, that just tells me that you aren’t hearing the word of God…because Faith comes by hearing.
If you are full of doubt and fear that just tells me you aren’t spending enough time alone with God in prayer. Because I promise when you get into the presence of God, your doubts and fears will vanish.
I said all of this because God put it on my heart.
You are in a war…an invisible war with an enemy so strategic in his plans and diabolical in his tactics that unless you have the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT you will not win…
I’m praying for you. I’m praying that the HOLY SPIRIT will get ahold of you and turn you every which way but loose. I’m praying that the Fire of God will come down and consume your heart, mind, body and soul. And when He is through with you, you will come up out of the pit…Praying, singing, marching, preaching, the Gospel, Good News to everyone around you. And that because of your new hunger and thirst for God that they will run to our Glorious, Almighty, Powerful Loving God, and be transformed for his glory!! Amen.
Don’t go back to sleep…be watchful, be praying, be diligent…the devil never sleeps but he will lull you to sleep in a heartbeat. Let the Fire of the Holy Ghost keep you alive, awake and on guard at your post for God. Amen.

Encouragement:
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.  For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.  But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 1 Corinthians 14:1-3New King James Version (NKJV)
The Race of Faith
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Good Young Days

The ‘good old days,’ they should be called the ‘good young days.’ You start out with nothing ahead of you but unfilled dreams, and then before you know you it, you’re hydroplaning down the high-way. You slide, “safe” right into home base. You’re shook up a little, but life is good and you keep right on trucking down the highway. You’re young and tough, you can tackle any obstacle. Life happens and before you know it you’re forty-five. Hair begins to thin. Little pot belly shows up, ‘Hello, where’d you come from. Maybe a jog would be nice. Oh no, that’s not going to happen.’ You eat dinner, sit in front of the ole tube, begin to watch something exciting, and before you know it your out cold, and snoring. All of a sudden something hits you right between your eyes. You jump fully awake, yell, ‘What’s going on?’ Looking around, have witted, you see the culprit. “What’s wrong honey?”
Then you turn sixty. The ‘good young days’ become the ‘good old days’ because you are living them. You’re old and you wonder, ‘Where did all the time go?’
Ever feel like that? Where’d the ‘good young days’ go?
If you’re let’s say, ten to thirty years of age, let me give you a tiny-bit of wisdom I’ve learned in my sixty-three years.
Slow down; don’t go so fast, take time to live each day better and happier. Stuff, just doesn’t matter. Don’t wait til your old to understand that.
Take care of your teeth. You’ve probably heard that before but it is true. When you reach my age it gets harder to chew.
Keep all the friends you make in life because there is nothing more valuable than good friends. And remember to be a good friend too, sometimes we forget that part. In order to have a friend you have to be a friend. Good advice from my dear departed mama.
Jobs will come and jobs will go but from the start do something you are really passionate about because you are going to be doing it for a long time and it’s much better to do something that makes you happy, and get paid for, than to be burnt out from doing something that’s mundane that drains your gifts and talents.
Kiss and hug the people you love often, as much as you can. All too soon they leave us and you will miss them terribly when they’re gone. Mend bridges and forgive as many times as it takes. Life is really very short don’t waste a minute of it fighting, and holding onto grudges. Just, like that “Frozen” song says, “Let It Go.’
Laugh and laugh and laugh. Laughter will heal many ailments and no one likes to be around a sour-puss…
Say your prayers. Talking to God is very important. Listening to him is more important.
Complement others and tell them how you really feel. Give respect and you’ll receive respect. Honor your parents. They brought you into the world and they can take you out…no just kidding. But God says, if you honor them you’ll have long life. And that’s a good thing. And remember to call them. They get lonely and love to hear from their children.
You’ll have some regrets; that’s just part of life, but you’ll have far fewer ones if you do what’s right and live upright before God and your fellow man.
You can kill more people with unkind words than a weapon. Use your words wisely.
Be honest, and true. Be polite and share. Work for what you have and don’t live above your means. Be responsible for what you do. And in the end when you look back on the ‘good young days’ you’ll be amazed what a full, beautiful life you’ve lived.
Take it from this old lady. Life is good. God is good. And though I have some regrets I have far more love and thankfulness in my heart for a life lived and blessed than all my sorrows. God is right; His peace goes far beyond my understanding. When you forgive you receive peace.

Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. Psalm 37:26 NLT
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 New King James Version (NKJV)
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. Proverbs 17:22 New King James Version (NKJV)

Spend Some Time With Him

Lord,
Here I am, I’m putting my busy life aside and for these next few moments I’m spending time with you.
Lord,
So many times I’m distracted with problems in my life. I forget that if I would just take the time to come to you, that all these things that are bothering me wouldn’t seem so big at all.
And Lord,
I know you’re never too busy when I need to chat with you…You always give me your full attention, you don’t interrupt me when I ramble on and on. You’re patient and kind and loving and I always feel so peaceful when we are together, even when I tell you all about my troubles and things that are going on in the world. As if you didn’t know already. You listen with a heart of compassion. You never judge me. Sometimes scold me when I get out of line. But that’s what a caring Father does with his children. Not to punish but to correct in a way that gets my attention.
Lord,
It seems people don’t talk to you much anymore. They say they can do it themselves. But Lord, this world is in a terrible mess, them “doing it” themselves isn’t working out so good. What’s happened Lord to this world? When I was growing up people helped each other. They were respectful and thankful and polite to each other for the most part. Oh I know there’s always been wars and trouble in the world. But it sure looks worse now. The news is flooded with people killing people. There’s no respect for others or for you LORD.
Oh I know you still have many who live for you and try to do right. And I know you are still on your throne and are in control of everything. I suppose we are living in the last days and that we should just keep on spending time with you. And maybe sometimes I need to be quite and let you speak to me. That’s what I’ll do Lord.
“Child, I’ve been listening to you all your life. No I never get tired or weary. I wait and I wait. That’s called patience. I hear your heart and I see your actions and I know you are mine. You don’t need to worry. You don’t need to be afraid. For yes, I am, with you. I see the world and all the chaos. I see pain and wars and death. I see man corrupting themselves and others. And I just wait. I intervene in many instances. I dispatch my angels where needed. I protect and orchestrate in the affairs of government and countries. Believe me I am not one to close my eyes to what concerns mine. I sent my son, and I sent my Holy Spirit into the world. I know exactly what I’m doing. All you need to know and do is trust me. Trust me child. Come to me and chat all the time, for it is my pleasure when you do. I smile and I’m helping in every, single, aspect of your life and in the lives of people in the world. I didn’t send my son to kill. I sent my son so that all could have life. There is an enemy who opposes and he sends destruction and chaos and death. But he also knows his time is short. You have all that is needed to overcome and survive. But many don’t put it into practice. I am more than words in a book. I am more than the wind or the universe. I am more than mere man…I AM! Those who are wise will seek me. Those who are mine will do what I’ve asked. And in the end, all will be as it should be. Keep loving, keep serving, keep watch. Keep praying, keep seeking and knocking and you will find me. For I Am always here. ~Your Loving, Papa God…

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 King James Version (KJV)

Into the Arms of God

There’s this longing in my soul, which no one understands…
It’s more than just a feeling, more than I can stand
Deeper than the ocean, I will hold God’s hand…
Life is more than a happy dance, or, success with fellow-man…
It’s something that only those who’ve walked
And lived and sought and beheld and talked…
More than a book, more than a look,
It is…
Surrender of the outer life, where Angels live and trod…
Into the invisible place, falling into the arms, of a loving, caring, God…
Cloak removed and all revealed…
Time no more, time is still…
Soul received in glorious fill…
Into the arms of God.
Into the arms of God I live…
Spirit free, Spirit filled…
No more worries, no more pain…
Life forever…death is gain
Under heavens window sill
Waiting for His perfect will…
Enter the arms of God!
–Marla Shaw O’Neill April 10, 2017
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21 New International Version (NIV)

The Rebel

Entering into the most unusual time of history…
A man walked the streets in a cloak of mystery…
Not famous…not even known to his people…
Son of his mother…she knew who he was…
His purpose became known; listen to what he does…
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth…
Not on my watch, hear the truth…
People will come to persecute you, but here this, and do what I do…
Teachers, Professors they think they are right…
They have secret meetings, their hearts black as night…
I’ve come to show you the way, the truth, and the life…
You strain at a Nat and swallow a camel…
I haven’t chosen you; to sit on my panel…
You can’t even see that God has arrived
He’s right in your midst, you won’t survive…
You are tools of dishonor and pride
You who wear robes of evil and who hide
Beneath religion
Lies and deceit
Your words are lifeless, you face defeat…
Quoting the law as if you are the author…
Empty words that do not prosper…
Proverbs and Parables misunderstood…
All your preaching will come to no good…
If you had known my Father God,
You would have known the road I trod…
Is love not hate, both sides of heaven’s gate…
You’re an enemy, enemy of the state…
I see your hearts made of solid steel
The father of lies, I’m here to reveal…
I don’t fit into your wooden box…
For I’m the one you will hang on the cross…
I say love, you say hate,
I say live, you say wait…
I say give and you say take…
I’m the Savior
You don’t believe
Holy Spirit His heart you grieve…
I will not follow your rules you’ll see…
For God in heaven is waiting for me…
I’ll cry it’s finished when all is done…
New life for mine will be finally won.
All your crying won’t save you then…
Son’s of the devil, cast in hell, with him.
I am the Rebel…

Matthew 23New Living Translation (NLT)
Jesus Criticizes the Religious Leaders
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses. So practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach. They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.
“Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels. And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’

The Meek

Do not fear
Do not be afraid…
Bow your head, come to me, and pray…
Lift your eyes to the hills and know
I Am is here no matter where you go…
Wars will come, and wars will cease
Times of woe and times of peace…
Still your heart and learn of me…
Don’t let your heart be troubled but see…
I’m not in the wind; I’m not in the quake
I’m not in the fire…I quietly speak
Stand on the mountain-top at attention
See with your heart and then you’ll know…
The earth belongs to the meek.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5 KJV

Live in the Moment

Daily manna
Daily bread
Daily faith, my soul is fed
Only God, can fill my empty soul
Only God, can make me fully whole
The sun comes up once per day
All that’s needed, we’re on our way
Light bearer
Song of Songs…
Advocate for our daily wrongs…
Faith renewed again and again
As we look to God’s guiding hand…
No more, no less…he gives me rest
As I pour out my heart I’m blessed.
Cup overflows
But none is lost…
His blood forever, poured out from the cross
Promise given, the Holy Ghost…
Power extended into each host…
We will walk day by day…
In His light and Him obey.
Given what’s needed, there is no waste…
Patiently pursued, not in haste
Moment by moment…
Face to face…
Faith runner, run your race
Saving souls they take their place
Cloud of witnesses, applaud your pace
Unmerited favor, God’s love, God’s grace…
Moment by moment legacy traced…
God’s time…God’s mind…God’s will not mine!

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34The Message (MSG)

Faith Comes By Hearing The Word of God

I would like to share with you a little testimony and hope that it will encourage you and increase your faith to read God’s word out loud. Healing is for today. God still heals. We have to do our part and God always does His part.
My own personal Testimony, to God be All the Glory: After coughing for over a year and I mean to tell you it was chronic. We had gone to my doctor for one thing, but he found something else. He listened to my chest and he told me I needed a chest x-ray because of he heard something unusual in my lungs. When he saw the x-ray, he said he saw something. He also said we will keep an eye on it and in a month we’ll take another x-ray to be sure it’s nothing. Of course there was concern. Many of you were praying, thank you.
God gave me a dream about the blood of Jesus. When I woke, my coughing is all but gone. A friend (Misty Moon) also told me about a lady that had an incurable condition how she began to read every scripture on healing and after years of horrible suffering, Jesus healed her. The doctors had given up on her. But in one last desperate deed she reached for her unread Bible and began to read the word of God and Jesus healed her. She marked every scripture on healing in her bible.
Why is it, that we always “try,” Jesus last? Maybe it’s just that we really don’t believe, until we see that nothing else is going to work. At any rate…praise the Lord we do reach out to him…and He is always faithful.
After reading her story, I Googled scriptures on healing and found the following website. It is a list of scriptures on healing. I sat at my computer and read every one of these scriptures out loud and my faith began to come alive in me. As I kept reading chill bumps ran up and down my whole body. I was strengthened and renewed. I was filled with new faith, more faith. God was giving me His assurance by hearing His word, that, I am healed in Jesus name.
Sometimes Jesus heals instantly and sometimes it is a process. I know by His word that He put His confidence in me, that I am healed. Amen.
Print the following scriptures and read them out loud. As we know, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! When you read out loud your ears hear what is being said and Faith comes alive.
It is not magic, or mind over matter that heals us. It is the Anointed Word of God being heard and received into our being that heals us. Jesus spoke the Word. Jesus is the Word. Believe and do not doubt. Simply read the words out loud and let his Word heal you. Amen!
God is not a microwave God. Read and keep on reading. Read with purpose and determination and conviction. Read His Word out loud every day until the words get down deep into your heart and soul and you know without a doubt you are healed. Let Faith come alive in you in Jesus name.
Jesus, I ask that as we read your word and let it go deep within our spirit that Faith will come alive and quicken us, so that we will be healed in your name, I ask. Amen!

Read these scriptures, print them out and put them into practice!
(I didn’t read the Book, chapter and verse all I did was read each verse one after the other. It is amazing!!!)
(These are taken from the King James Version and may sound a little strange to some. You can look up another translation if preferred. The most important thing is that you read them out loud.)
  • Exodus 15:26: If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
  • Exodus 23:25-26: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.
  • Deuteronomy 7:14-15: Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
  • Deuteronomy 30:19-20: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
  • 1 Kings 8:56: Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
  • Psalm 91:9-10, 14-16: Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
  • Psalm 103:1-5: Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
  • Psalm 107:17, 19-21: Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
  • Psalm 118:17: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
  • Proverbs 4:20-24: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
  • Isaiah 41:10: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
  • Isaiah 53:4-5: Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
  • Jeremiah 1:12: Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

  • Matthew 8:2-3: And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
  • Matthew 8:16-17: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
  • Matthew 15:30-31: And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
  • Matthew 18:18-19: Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
  • Matthew 21:21-22: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
  • Mark 9:23: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
  • Mark 10:27: And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
  • Mark 11:22-24: And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
  • Mark 16:14-18: Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

  • Acts 5:16: There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
  • Acts 10:38: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
  • Romans 4:16-21: Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
  • Romans 8:2, 11: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:18: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
  • 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
  • Galatians 3:13-14, 29: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
  • Ephesians 6:10-17: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
  • Philippians 2:13: [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
  • Philippians 4:6-9: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.
  • 2 Timothy 1:7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
  • Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).
  • Hebrews 10:35-36: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
  • Hebrews 11:11: Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
  • Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.
  • James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
  • James 5:14-16: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
  • 1 Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
  • 1 John 3:21-22: Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
  • 1 John 5:14-15: And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
  • 3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

JUMP

Remember a time in your life when you were maybe two or three years old and you’re standing on the edge of a swimming pool or on the edge of your bed and standing in front of you is someone you know you can trust? And they say, “Jump!”
You get your bearings and without hesitation you, JUMP!
That’s what our Heavenly Father is saying today… “Jump, you can trust me, I’ll catch you.”
Troubles come to our lives in all kinds of different ways…
Some sickness, some financial, some relational, some addiction, some abandonment, some death, some life…
All these things are part of life…
We may be alone, or in a crowd…we may be the CEO of a company, or a Street Person…race or gender makes no difference. God is no respecter of persons…He loves us all the same.
But the thing I want to talk to you about today is this… “Reckless Abandonment” to a God you cannot see…the invisible world where He lives but with our eyes and ears we cannot see or hear…I want to talk to you about a King who wants to bless you more than you deserve and love you more than you can imagine!
This morning I was troubled in my spirit about some things, God knows all about it. He reminded me to get His Word and speak it Out Loud…because Faith really does come by hearing…
When I was finished declaring God’s word to me…I JUMPED…into the arms of my Heavenly Father and He caught me…He caught me…All I know is that I have an assurance I didn’t have before…I know beyond a shadow of a doubt…not even the shadow of doubt, that God’s got me and I have nothing to fear. Praise God. Not in a haughty way or self-confident way but God’s way. Not just words to read and hope they are real…They are real…like someone I heard once say, “I know in my knower that I know.”
Jesus wants you to have that assurance too. All you have to do is, JUMP…He’s right there and He will catch you. God does not lie and, He, can be trusted!

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. Exodus 15:26-27 King James Version (KJV)
The words of Jesus…
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:21-22 King James Version (KJV)

Rise Spirit Rise

First light, of day breaks through
The sky is pink and orange and blue
Standing in a field of green
This morning brings, new life, its spring…
Chirping in a nearby tree
I find ‘tis sweet, the melody…
My soul is lifted by the breeze
To wonders far beyond the trees…
Into heaven’s courts I bow
Bow before the maker of all of these…
Humbly, meekly, I fall upon my knees…
The scepter of the King reveals…
Rise spirit, rise and sing…
Oh Holy Majesty I hear, and I see, a host of angels singing with me…
A song that’s never been heard before…
I rise to heaven’s portals before the Lord…
Heart completely given to thee…
My Abba!
My ALL!
Majesty!
For who but thee can save my soul, and take me to this place of rest…
Who can turn my eyes but thee, and bow my head upon your breast…
Who can make the streets so gold?
Who but thee can make me bold?
Who can turn water into wine?
And bid me come, come and dine…
None, none but thee…

Psalm 96:1-6 New King James
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the Lord made the heavens.
Honor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
