A Circle has No End

Loved you enough to give you wings to fly
Heartstrings strong, baby, I know why…
I had to let you go…
Knowing, you’re always in my heart.
Like butterfly dust upon flowers that bloom
Growing in springtime, beneath the stars and the moon
Light never goes out.
Life is a circle, it never ends, with each new birth
New life begins…again and again…
A parent’s love, lives deep within,
You too, will see, what this means…
Baby, you’ve earned your wings…
To fly through open skies…
So, take flight my darling son
For your life has just begun…
Ups and downs and all around the circle you will go.
A gentle tear falls from my face…
Remembrance of a little boy’s place
At my knee, he’s now, a man…
Coos from a tiny baby, rests, within my arms
New Joy…a baby boy…
New life begins again!
