Little One

Little one you’ve come so far…
Heavenly Papa watching from a distant star
Prophesied by the ancients, foretold that you would come
And in my arms my little one…
Wrapped in swaddling clothes and for some…
Bore witness of your birth.
We’ve heard this story told, and retold, but do we really understand?
That Silent Night, and Emanuel, are songs we sing, that is all about, how God became a man!
To redeem the world that was lost to sin…
To spread good-news and to welcome in…
The kingdom of God to live within…
All those who welcome Him…
Do we really understand?
In this season of our lives, when this year comes to an end…
Will we recognize on that first New-Year’s day?
Time has not stopped it is slipping away…
One thing remains and is yet to be seen…
I’m talking about supernatural things…
Faith is in the now, not then, it’s in the who not how…
Today is the day to welcome Christ in, to kneel before him and humbly bow…
In the presence of the King!
That baby boy, no longer lies in a manger…
God is no longer a foreign stranger…
He lives and breathes in heaven’s shores
Waiting for you to accept Him as Lord…
Rejoice and know that the story you’ve been told
Waits for you to open and behold…
New Life, restored and humanity made whole…
He’s alive! He’s alive!
Children of the human race; man, woman, boy and girl…
Welcome to a brand-new world!!

John 1:29-51
English Standard Version
Behold, the Lamb of God
29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32 And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. 33 I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son[a] of God.”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
