Embrace the Moment

Whether life or death or things seen, or, not seen,
In sicknesses, or great sorrow,
Things will be different tomorrow
In peace or war, God will restore…
Embrace the moment…
Whether old or young or in between
Age is, moment by moment, lived with dreams
Embrace it…
One thing is for certain…
When He draws the final curtain…
There will be no do-overs,
All of the would-a, should-a, could-a’s will be gone…
Don’t look for the what if’s, or the when’s,
Embrace the here and now, begin…
Take hold of the life you’ve been given…
And embrace it while you can…
Hold onto love with all your might…
Live what you know, and do what is right…
Fully, completely, with passion and delight,
So, when the soul takes flight…
You’ve run the face and finished the fight…
Entering heaven in robes of white…
God’s chosen child, you made God smile…
Love, sustained you, in every mile…
Embraced by the light!!!

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 15:9-17 The Passion Translation (TPT)
“I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!
“So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.
“You show that you are my intimate friends when you obey all that I command you. I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends,[f] for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you! So this is my parting command: Love one another deeply!”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
