The In Between Times

Dedicated to Sharon D. and Seamless-Table # 5 Ladies
I’m waiting Lord, there’s so much to do
Not enough hours in the day, so I’ll keep looking to you…
It’s in, the, in-between-times, I grow weary and tired
Like a panicky bird on a high, live-wire
Day in and day out…years come and I often doubt
What’s life really all about?
Struggling with bills and cares of this life…
So much turmoil there’s envy and strife…
The in-between-times when life is hard to bear
I wonder sometimes does He really care.
Then I’m reminded of a time long ago
You staggered down the Via Delarosa road…
Carrying a cross, it was a heavy load
Many mocked and cursed your name…
Causing hurt wanting to blame…
No one sees, the end, from the, beginning
So much in-between-time, life is messy; the answers can’t be seen…
What will life look like in the years ahead…?
Open the book, read what it says…
It’s the in-between-times, where we must hold on
Be brave and courageous, bold and strong
Be patient and loving and kind, stay in God’s presence, where we belong…
Taking each moment until years are seen
In the in-between-times…then you’ll know what I mean…
Looking at now, all you see is defeat…
Child of God; GET UP ON YOUR FEET!
All the time wasted in worry and defeat…
Will leave you stranded, abandoned and weak…
Cry out to Jesus in the in-between-times…
Be alert, be humble, precious child, be meek…
Then you will live and life will be sweet
Knowing your struggles have made you complete
By faith, and, by grace, God walks with you
In the in-between-times
He sees all that you do,
He picks you up, and carries you!

1 Peter 5:7 New Living Translation (NLT) Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4

  1. By faith and grace God walks with you.
That is absolutely true. Let us praise him for what he does everyday and ask him to protect you from demons
    Thank you.

    1. Thank you Taff for your prayers…God is faithful…amen!!! Luke 10:19 New International Version (NIV) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Thank you Jesus!!

  2. Oh, those in-between times . . . reminds me of Footprints in the Sand, Marla. He carries us when we are too weak to put one foot in front of the other.
    Blessings!
