Season

This season, autumn, is a time of exploding color
Where God’s spot-light focuses on the leaves
Bright yellow and orange and red, set on mountainsides and valleys
A hearth, blazing, in the trees…
Burst forth with life; there is freshness in the air, it’s harvest time
Where pumpkins and gourds show up everywhere…
Hay-rides and pies, celebration and more…just before winter calls them to sleep…
Barns full and people meet
Canning pickles and making treats…
Vibrant, happy feet…
This season is a glorious time
Dancing to a joyous beat…
Summer passed, cycle soon complete
Winter is coming, and then earth retreats…
Until spring, then life repeats…
Where are you in the cycle of life?
Are you dancing, or, asleep?
Awaken to the brand new you…and dance under the harvest moon!
Glorious rays of golden hues…exploding with a melodious tune…
A chorus crescendo, and fireworks galore…hearts singing as never before
This season of fire, no place for gloom…walking in God’s harvest you’ll bloom
Where life and abundance completely consume…
Hearts open in the King’s living room…
Jesus is coming soon!

Genesis 1:14 English Standard Version Anglicized (ESVUK) And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,

seed-time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4

  1. Oh, Marla, how this reflects my post appearing tomorrow! The seasons change in their time, but God is our forever constant in it all. May we all reflect upon where we are in the cycle of life as God reveals it to us.
    Blessings!
