Under Your Wings I am Safe

In the shelter of your wings, hide me…
In the place where angels sing, guide me
In hope and strength let your Spirit lead me, to where you abide…
Within my heart your word sustains me
And in your arms my soul doth rest…
Cradled in the Rock of ages…I am hidden in the cleft
Though storms rage and lighting is fierce
I will not be afraid
Your love is greater than any foe
God in your grace, I will surely go…
Upon my knees in humility
That’s where I find stability
Without you, I cannot live or breathe
So rock me until your face I see
And life becomes clear again…
In prayer and fasting I will stay
‘til I can stand in the rain…
Lord, hide me under the shadow of your wings…
Until I can sing…and begin again!!!
Take my heart and raise me up to boldly proclaim…
Jesus Christ is Lord and King!!!
Beneath your wings, where shadow falls
I hear my name as you gently call…
“Child, I am with thee, through it all!”
