I Am Yours

This song, Divine Breath was written and performed by my dear friend Lisa Mitts and it inspired me to write the poem. We hope it blesses you.

Are your ears awake? Can you hear the wind begin to blow…?
Can you hear him whisper your name?
Are your eyes open? Can you see the splendor or His Majesty?
Can you see the evidence of His glory?
Come on…come walk with me in the cool of the afternoon,
When the sun is bowing low…and the grass is soft and tender…
Let’s have a talk…share with me your deepest heart’s desire…
Just you and me together…
Look, see that lily near the brook…its petals are reaching for a cold sip of water…
And look there; see that deer as she quietly, gently, drinks from the stream…
Son…
Daughter…
I am that living stream…
Drink of me and you will never thirst again…
Arm in arm we will stroll through life together…
You and me…on a journey…
A journey called forever…
Smiling, I slowly turn and see…
Face to face…love’s grace…
Yes Lord…I will walk with you…
I can hear your wind-words as you speak…
I hear your Spirit as you call my name…
I see your love and I understand…
I am yours…
And you, are mine!

Revelation 2:7 The Message (MSG)
“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. I’m about to call each conqueror to dinner. I’m spreading a banquet of Tree-of-Life fruit, a supper plucked from God’s orchard.”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
