Relic’s In Museums…

Ecclesiastes 3 There is a time….
I was born in a simpler time…in the fifties…
Where words were used like cool and nifty
Girls were girls and boys were boys…
We actually played outside and played with toys…
Until the seventies came along where young people wanted to make love, not war
And Peace was a held up, hand sign, along with flower power and spiked brownies
It gave them the munchies and paranoia
Then the eighties came along and people no longer waved and didn’t wanna know ya…
The nineties were a blur with Hi-Technology rising fast
Fads, becoming a thing of the past…
Super Wal-Mart’s and Super Heroes, faster cars and faster lives, speeding on down the highway…
The New Millennium sure was an eye opener, with tattoos tatted on young folk’s skin…
Foreigners from everywhere…how did they get in?
Presidents and politics and governments galore…
I must be getting old I sure don’t like this anymore…
No respect for anyone, or, anything…
Is this what it means to live in the new millennium? Baby boomers old, no one remembers ‘em?
If in the last sixty years the world has all gone mad…
What will it be like in the future? I reckon things sure will be sad…
People will have to make a change and bring it about
If not…
I’ll sure be glad to be gone and out…
For this ole world is just not the same…
Is this what my grandparent’s thought at my age…?
No wonder they called it a generation gap, it sure is a shame…
And when you, my little ones, are grown
Will this place have a place, that’s still called home?
I’m older now…I’m past my prime…I sit a lot, and have lots of time…
To think and ponder on all this stuff…I’ll be praying for future generations
You’re gona need it ‘cause it will sure gona be rough…
You won’t recognize a tree as a tree…
Or even a smart phone they’ll be a thing of the past…just look at me…
Relic’s in museums that’s where you’ll find,
Only memories once lived, that are now History!

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
