 Hi,

My name is Marla. My husband Bobby, and I, live in South Florida. I have a large family. Four adult sons. Three daughters-in-law, three of the greatest, most talented and beautiful, granddaughters in the world, and a magnificent grandson, who rules my heart, and another grandson on the way. Bobby has two adult daughters, son-in-law and two of the brightest and most intelligent grandsons you’d ever want to meet.  Together we are blessed and grateful for all the Lord has done for us.

This blog came about because I have a passion for writing about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’ve written three books, Sing Sarah Sing, Pray Pearl Pray and God’s Heartbeat, Ba-bump, which is a little book of poems. If you are interested they may be purchased on Amazon.com and Kindle.

I also belong to a group on Facebook called, Christian Poets and Writers, by Mary Harwell Saylor. There are over 5,000 members. Authors and writers that are anointed and gifted, some published and some working on being published. Some just love to write. They are all outstanding and inspirational. The acceptance and love that is felt in this group is like none I’ve ever experienced on Facebook. I can’t say enough about how wonderful these people are. I have many favorites and if you happen to check them out, you will be welcomed and blessed by their Christian attitude and talent.

At the beginning of 2017, Mary asked that we seek the Lord for a specific word he would have for us for this year. My word was “write.” In obedience to that, I write everyday in my blog, or on Facebook. I, also have a closed group on Facebook called, A Call to Action. Please feel free to visit my Facebook page.
