Allow the Little Children

Seven little children came out to play today.
Five little boys and two little girls.
Running, laughing, skipping, cartwheels and twirls…
Spirit’s free, this is how happiness should be…
No worries of what the day will bring
On a Wintery day, no need to wait for Spring…
Seven little hearts, carefree, like a dream
Innocence sparkling like a sunbeam…
Going wherever the chase takes them.
Uninhibited, no judgement or complaints.
Little children, not saints.
Allow the little children to come unto me,
And forbid them not to come unto me,
for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

These are heaven’s children, full of faith, all seven!
“We’ve come to see Jesus, to sit upon his knee…
With great admiration we come in humility!”
Seven children came out to play today
Do not forbid them but show them the way.

Matthew 19:14 King James VersionBut Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
I wrote this for my three grandchildren and four neighbor’s children. There were five boys and two girls entering my house to play. It was a sight to behold. Following in a line one behind the other. The littlest one at the end. Then like a flash they all ran outside, and ran through the back yard. My heart was overflowing. I told my son, “Seven, five boys and two girls, that’s how many children my grandmother raised, alone.” He said, “Well that explains a lot!” Watching them all together was glorious! I don’t know how my granny did it, but she did!! Well, it was God’s grace!

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
