Worship engulfs me, as saints, sing out to God, in praise
Holy Ghost permeates the atmosphere, while hands and voices raise
A holy roar before the Lord!
Worthy! Holy!
Lord, here our desperate cries, nothing else will satisfy
Hear our hearts in one accord, Help us sovereign God, Adonai!
You are the Lord, Great and Mighty!
Then deep within my soul I hear, “Step out!”
What? I can’t step out…I don’t want to distract others as they worship…
“If you want your freedom, STEP OUT!”
And with a determined shout, I stepped out into the aisle
Praising God with all my might…
An elderly woman whose soul takes fight
The Power of the Holy One displayed in all His glory and delight…
The enemy runs in retreat!
Her strength, renewed!
All because she obeyed God who, said,
“Step out!”
