Love is the Greatest Gift You Will Ever Give or Receive

Things can’t buy you happiness or heal a broken heart.
They can’t bring you comfort or give you peace in the dark.
Things are only things.
Things can’t hug you when you’re feeling down and out
Oh, they can satisfy a little while but can’t take away the doubt.
I’ve walked 25,550 days on my journey thus far…
I can tell you this…
Only love can see you through when you’re falling apart!
Love says, “Everything will be OK, you’ll survive to face another day…”
Love forgives and understands each and every time…
Be brave, steadfast don’t complain and whine…
Life is a collection of moments, perspectives on every side,
Watching the Ocean teaches us, there will be a turning of the tide…
And if you’ll look and listen, you’ll come out on the right side…
Choose wisely what you do, and I promise you…
Love will see you through!
Love doesn’t take, it gives.
Love doesn’t criticize, it uplifts.
Love doesn’t leave, it stays no matter what…
Things on my left, love on my right…
I choose love.
Love says, I’ll die for you.
Love says, I’m alive!
So don’t give up, if you quit that’s when you fail…
Set a new course and lift your sail…
There’s always hope, that the wind will blow
Follow the north star and you will go
To new horizons, let faith be your guide…
Wipe your tears and simply abide…
Of all the gifts I’ve ever received…
Love taught me how to believe…
When you learn to love, you’re truly free!

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New Living Translation

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
