The Quiet Man

He was a quiet man. Gentle and compassionate. He was interested in others needs more than his own. People were his delight especially children. He never tired of listening to the story’s others would share with him. Eating, laughing, talking, visiting with everyone he met. He shared the very first Facebook social network. Only he actually did it face to face. He was a teller of parables and knew the scriptures well. A gifted orator. A man of truth and light. Yet he was a quiet man. He was a teacher and a mentor to twelve very odd men. He loved them all. What was it that drew people to him? Made them either love him or hate him.
He had a calm demeanor yet walked with such authority that even Kings took notice. He cooked fish and broke bread with multitudes. Little children longed to sit in his lap and hear his story’s.
Sick and dying people sought him for comfort and healing. Mostly those whom everyone else had given up on yet knew they would not be rejected by this quiet man. He had a way about him that put you at ease a look that filled you with peace and hope. You may ask, ” Who is he?”
Do you really want to know? Then ask HIM! He’s very near. His Hebrew name is Yeshua. I have known him as Jesus for most of my life. A Quite Man, Ooh yes…but you can never silence him!!! He’s in the room, he’s waiting.
He is the Quiet Man.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
