Sweet Tea and Jesus

Sitting on the back porch rocking to and fro
Just me, sweet-tea and Jesus, with my Bible and Joe…
Joe yawns and scratches his hind leg, then lays his head back down,
Lazy in the sunshine watching birds fly all around.
Butterflies fluttering, flowers all in bloom
I sing out into the open skies on this pleasant afternoon…
Sweet-tea and Jesus is all you really need…
