Heaven is our Goal

  Dedicated to Wanda Brazell
Lying in the stillness, I hear an angel song
“Now Lord, am I going home?”
Two shinning beings wait, as I breathe my last breath
Child, where you are going, there isn’t any death…
They take me by my hand and what peace engulfs my soul
I’ve never felt so full of life it’s more than I’ve ever been told…
The air is fresh and clean and I’m walking even though
I can’t seem to feel the earth beneath my feet, as I go…
Instantly I’m in heaven and Jesus is welcoming me in…
Oh, what my eyes behold, where do I begin?
At first, I’m overwhelmed with this incredible joy that overflows…
And the faces of my loved ones here, begin to laugh and glow…
There are no words to tell you, how much love here, is bestowed…
As I begin to sing and dance and shout and jump all about…
The happiness of heaven is more wonderous and there’s no doubt
That all I learned in my life time, well, this is what it’s all about
When you think of me and miss me, and cry and wonder why?
Remember heaven is our home, in life we’re just passing by…
Oh, and while you’re on the earth, accept Jesus and receive your new birth…
You don’t want to miss this…
Because child of God, Heaven is real.
Don’t let the enemy steal, what God has instore for you!
I’m not dead! I’m alive!
So sweet dreams for now, this is not my final bow…
I’ll be seeing you again!
Tell the gospel story so that others will understand
If they want to go to heaven, they must follow Jesus’ command…
Time is infinite and all must someday go…
Make sure your right with Jesus and let him save your soul!
Family of God, our forever address is H E A V E N!
That is our goal!

2 Timothy 4:7-8 King James Version
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
