As Eagle Wings

Arms spread wide upon the cross,
Like the wings of an eagle in flight…
Soaring in the heavenlies, God is seen
Wings spread wide for the world to see…
What mystery He brings…
Impaled upon a wooden cross…
The song of forgiveness He sings
Over the valley of the shadow of Death
He fears no evil, as He takes His last breath…
Majestically His wings spread wide…
He hung His head and died.
Loved ones in the distance, broken, crushed, they cry.
Watching from, a place on high, the eagle does not wait
His work is done, He has overcome,
With unconditional love not hate…
Demons laughing at the sight, thinking they have won…
Victorious, the eagle in flight, sings His glorious song
Risen from the grave He soars…as heaven’s angels stand and roar…
HE, IS, ALIVE!
Demon’s scatter; fleeing at the sight; realize they are doomed.
Arms spread wide, Jesus suffered and died, but now, He is, the Bridegroom!

Deuteronomy 32:11 New King James Version
11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings,
Psalm 23:4 New King James Version
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Luke 23:28-34 Holman Christian Standard Bible
28 But turning to them, Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and your children. 29 Look, the days are coming when they will say, ‘The women without children, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed, are fortunate!’ 30 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’[a] 31 For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
Crucified between Two Criminals
32 Two others—criminals—were also led away to be executed with Him. 33 When they arrived at the place called The Skull, they crucified Him there, along with the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. 34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided His clothes and cast lots.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
