Witness in the Wilderness

In solitude and dark of night, alone, but for the creatures in the wilderness, they lay,
Watching and listening to the man speaking to someone but who? He prayed.
Angels ascending and descending bringing comfort from the Father’s house…
There in the moonlit night stirred a little mouse…perched upon a tiny rock, nose twitching
This way and that …listening to all that was said. Mouse bowed his head…
Tears like streams in the desert poured from the eyes of him…
Praying for the people, all, of them…
Nations, within one man, woman, boy and girl…
Treasure’s more valuable than costly pearls…
The man lamented for them all, this is why he came to the world!
But they would not listen…they would not give up their will…love was all he was offering and it was not enough for them but still, he loved them.
Power and greed ran deep within their hearts…pleasures of the earthly kind, kept them bound…
Great sobs, unspoken sounds, were heard by heaven’s hosts…
Papa God listened to his son’s pain, which hurt him most…
People did not want to turn their lives around and follow what was good…
Evil had a hold on them, Hell was where they stood…
Little mouse ran to the man and squeaked, “Sir, I understand…
That if no one else will praise your name, the very rocks will cry out! I believe and I have seen you do wonderful things. I will go and tell the city mice, and we will go and sing…then heaven will come down and change everything…”
The man, drew in a deep breath, and lifted his head and sang… “Thank you Father for bringing to me this tiny, little, friend…he’s given me hope and I will go and finish everything.”
Thousands gathered in the square as love was poured out and shared…by the man who came that day to bless and take their sins away…
Upon hearing that the crowds were changed, evil rose its ugly head…took the man and killed him, now he was dead…
But in solitude and dark of night, just before day-light, the stone was rolled away…
Jesus, AROSE, Victorious, and Love had conquered hate!
Tiny mouse had seen it all and lives to this very day…running in the streets he sings, “Jesus is the truth the life and the way! And if you ask him too, he’ll give, to you, eternal life that can never be taken away!”
Tears are for the night, but JOY comes in the morning!
Angels in heaven rejoice, when a child is newborn…

Psalm 30:1-5 English Standard Version (ESV)
Joy Comes with the Morning
A Psalm of David. A song at the dedication of the temple.
1 I will extol you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up and have not let my foes rejoice over me. 2 O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. 3 O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.[a] 4 Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.[b] 5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.[c] Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Footnotes:
a. Psalm 30:3 Or to life, that I should not go down to the pit
b. Psalm 30:4 Hebrew to the memorial of his holiness (see Exodus 3:15)
c. Psalm 30:5 Or and in his favor is life

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
