Jesus’ Heartbeat

How close are you to Jesus?
Can you touch Him, feel His heartbeat?
Sense His breath upon your cheek.
Do you follow Him? Is it Him you seek?
Do you know what He is thinking?
Finish His sentences before He speaks…
How close are you to Jesus, He is strong we are weak…
Do you cry and beg for an answer, when things don’t go your way?
Do you even listen to hear, what the Master has to say?
Or are you, like, the prodigal son, stubborn, proud, wanting your own way?
How close are you to Jesus, do you rest in His embrace?
Do you see His love light shining on His compassionate, gracious face?
Each time you look upon Him do you see His amazing grace?
The faith song of Jesus is not seen by mortal eyes.
It’s not a feeling or a thought; it never doubts or asks why…
Faith is a knowing beyond what we do or think…
When you walk by faith and not by sight, peace will be at your side.
“Upon ocean waves, deep waters collide, I will ride the tides with thee.”
Not my will but thine be done or can this cup please pass from me?
“Abide in me, as I abide in you, faith will overcome.”
How well do you know Jesus?
When He calls your name do you hear?
Do you run to greet him, or hide away in fear?
Be ready, be watching, be still and know, Jesus will always be with you wherever you go! In your home or in the street, He’s closer than a heartbeat!

Matthew 16:13-20 The Message (MSG) When Jesus arrived in the villages of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “What are people saying about who the Son of Man is?”
They replied, “Some think he is John the Baptizer, some say Elijah, some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”
He pressed them, “And how about you? Who do you say I am?”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
