God of creation…You created mankind…
In this world of brokenness
You offer us this…
Love, your love, divine…
Searching the sea, we’re lost and dying in misery
Struggling to hold on, we’re gripping an unraveling tapestry…
Where is love found…?
Not in the addiction of drunkenness…
Not in the flesh of sinfulness…
Not in the perverted games, played…
Illusions delude the mind and leave the body to decay…
No, you will not find Love in these…
God, is, love…
Three tiny words spoken, but have you heard?
One way, one truth, one life
His, is, the only way…
Each stoke of the artist’s brush…
Each detail, skillfully composed, not rushed
Paints the masterpiece waiting to be revealed…
Your heart, filled, by the artist of love…
His!
