Show Me Your Glory…

God, show me your glory and do not hide from me…
For without your presence, I cannot breathe…
Your breath, your life is all I seek…
God, show me your glory…I am lowly and meek…
I’ve heard your voice in the burning bush…
I’ve seen your cloud at day
I’ve watched your fire burn bright at night,
Hearing me when I pray…
More of you is all I ask, I’ll give more of me
And complete the task…
Let me see your glory and bask…
In Your presence God, is all I ask…
Open your eyes child, and you will see,
You do not know what you ask of me…
My face you cannot see…
But I will pass by, and my hand will shield thee
The back of me, I will allow you to see…
I love whom I love, and I give mercy, to whom I give mercy
Favor and grace I bestow upon thee…
Granted, my glory, you will surely see…
My presence is with you intimately…
Look at the mountains and see the stars…
Oceans and fields near and far…
A baby’s breath and a tender tree…
This is my glory…
Man and woman…I created these…
Sun and moon and galaxies…
Child, walk by faith and not by sight
My glory is here to give you light…
Here the sound of the whippoorwill
As you sit in the cleft of the rock…
Wait patiently, and be still…
My glory will…
Be seen by thee!
Just as you see the sun, rise…
My glory is, My, Son-rise!

Moses said, “Show me Your glory”
Exodus 33:18-23 New King James Version (NKJV) And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
