Tic Tock

Two days alone. Quiet is so loud.
Longing for something but the body restricts the mind.
The will, giving in…
Emotions win…
God, are you listening to me?
I begin…
Lives active while passing others on their way
The walls like soldiers, blocking what I say…
Time is a strange commodity
When you’re young you take no thought of your age…
And when you are old you bow away from the stage…
The mind is still telling you everything is alright
But the body interrupts and says, you can’t do what you used to do
You’re too tired to fight…
You give in and sit until it is night…
The night is no better…
For sleep is an illusion
Time without a solution…
It goes ticking on, until…
The morning breaks…
Silence…
With each breath you take…
Labor,
Until the clock stops,
Tic tock…

Psalm 144:4 The Voice (VOICE) Humans are like a passing breath; their time on earth is like a shadow that passes over us during the day and soon is gone.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often. Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4
