I want a heart like His…
I want a heart like this, full of…
Love and compassion for the lost
To give at all cost…
My life totally spent, poured out, completely used up
At the end of my days…
Giving God praise,
Let me…
Touch the leper, so he will know that God loves him so…
Cast out demons so they will flee, setting the captives free…
Let the world hear my shout…Father I forgive them!
I want a heart like Him…
I don’t need to walk on water…
But I do need faith…
Or turn water into wine…
But I do need the Holy Spirit within
I don’t need shiny things
What I crave, is a heart that brings
Honor, glory, praise,
Worship, life, grace
Redemption, salvation, wholeness,
Freedom, peace
Joy, gentleness,
Friend of God,
Love…
Don’t let me miss
Having a heart like Jesus!
