This Seat Taken

He turns, and sits down,
in his appointed seat
Reserved only for him…
Crowned with glory
Ruler-ship complete…
Angels bowing at his feet…
All Hail King Jesus, multitudes repeat…
Sounds of thunder, lightning’s clash
All come to silence now at last…
The sovereign Son of God is home…
Taking his seat to the right of God’s throne…
At rest and peace where he belongs…
Interceding for sinners and saints.
As prayer warriors gather, then commence…
To tear down strongholds, shatter principalities,
Remove evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,
Fighting mighty powers in this dark world,
Chasing out evil spirits in the heavenlies…
Casting out demons, and healing the sick
All in the name of Jesus, it will be quick…
We stand…
Not in vain but tried and true
You are the ones, He’s chosen who…
Will fight in love and power and might
To save men’s souls and bring them light…
Believe have faith, and fight the good fight!
Battle won, you stand with the one…
Who’s seated at the throne of God!
