Time is Close

Weekends I spend with my mom and my husband at my mom’s home. She’s struggling with the horrid disease, cancer.

Doctor’s say she has days now.

She’s still alert and gets up each morning makes her bed, gets dressed and makes herself a cup of coffee. Mom is very independent and talks as if she will live on and on. She has strong faith in God and he does sustain her.

For three years my sister and I, as well as, other family members have taken turns being with her. We help her with her medicine and see to it that she’s not alone.

As I watch her grow weaker and time passes the emotions range from anger, to downright hysteria when I’m by myself, and no one else can see the tears…at other times I just break down and cry and don’t care who sees…it’s the most difficult time I’ve ever faced…

Sixty-one years I’ve enjoyed my mom and now that time is coming to a close.

Yes God is faithful and he keeps us through the process. No he never said life would be easy but he did say he’d go through it with us, and so we wait.

Psalm 91:14-16New King James Version (NKJV)

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Speak to Your Mountain

“Speak to Your Mountain!”

When faced with a mountain!
Sometimes you have to climb the mountain!
Sometimes you can go around the mountain!
Sometimes you can blow up the mountain!
But Jesus said you can speak to the mountain!
We all have mountain experiences thorough out our lives…some mountains are not so difficult, but some are extremely intense.
Storms rage upon the cliffs. Ice, snow, wind and rain beat upon the rocks. We are not prepared and we crumble in fear and doubt. We cry out in desperation, “Lord save me!” And just as you think you will be swept away…calmness settles within your soul and you remember His words!
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 King James Version (KJV)
When you know the Savior you will know exactly what I’m talking about! You won’t question, you won’t doubt! You will simply believe and receive what Jesus is saying!
Say to your mountain today, “Be removed and be cast into the sea.” Don’t doubt in your heart but believe what Jesus has said and it will come to pass! Believe Jesus!!!!

The Angels Stop and Listen As We Praise God

Luke 2:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The Angels Listen as We Praise God

Could you imagine singing louder than the angels?
I think that would be something awesome to try!
I heard a song today and that was part of the lyrics…

I thought…

“WOW, what an awesome concept!”

I remember a number of years ago I was in a Church service and God spoke out to the congregation of about 300 or more people…and said, “Don’t you know that the angels are silent when you praise God?” The congregation went wild…we must have praised God for a good three hours…the Holy Spirit just took over, it was glorious…everyone as a whole praised God. Musicians played upon their instruments to the Lord, people shouted praises to God, some danced, some knelt before him, but none were silent, it was tremendous….

“Shhhh,” the angels whisper, “They’re praising the Master of the Universe… The, I AM is being exalted.” They stand in quiet reverence as we bring our praises to the Prince of Peace, the Beautiful Rose of Sharon, the Messiah, The Savior…

Can you imagine?
Can you enter into such praise? Will you?

I praise you God, I lift my voice and honor you, I adore you, I exalt you most Holy God! God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…Everlasting King of Kings and Lord of Lords…Praise God! Praise God! Praise God!!! There is no one like you. You are the First and the Last … Alpha and Omega…Beginning and The End…My High Tower…My Refuge, My Rock…Amazing Grace…Soon coming King! Bright and Morning Star…Praise the Name of Yeshua! Jesus! All Mighty God!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

The angels draw near, they listen in wonder and delight as we praise, the Great, I AM!
