I love the Lord Jesus Christ and am passionate about writing. I hope you enjoy the blog and come to visit often.
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.
“Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2: 2-4 View all posts by Marla →
Power-packed poetic prayer, Marla! May God continue to bless your writing life in Christ.
Thank you Mary. You mean the world to me! I’ve learned so much from you and from the group you started, ‘Christian Poets and Writers,’ on Facebook. What a blessing of inspiration from the body of Christ. We are “Writers for Christ.” God bless you too…God is faithful…I love this passage in Luke 4:15-19
He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. As usual, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to Him, and unrolling the scroll, He found the place where it was written:
The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
