Ark of God secure once more\u2026<\/h6>\n
David danced before the Lord\u2026<\/h6>\n
He was met with ridicule and scorn, by the daughter of the king.<\/h6>\n
David\u2019s heart did not lament<\/h6>\n
He danced all the more for God, as he went\u2026<\/h6>\n
Heart and spirit completely free\u2026<\/h6>\n
It was for God alone, he danced to please\u2026<\/h6>\n
A truer heart there could not be,<\/h6>\n
Than the heart of David who would be king.<\/h6>\n
David danced with all his might, jumping twirling,<\/h6>\n
O glorious sight\u2026<\/h6>\n
Trumpets blowing, no terror or fright<\/h6>\n
Glory to God in the Highest was meant<\/h6>\n
Not for men, but for love of Him, David leapt and sent,<\/h6>\n
Up worship and praise, for his heart was bent, towards heaven\u2019s domain.<\/h6>\n
So smirk if you must and hide your face<\/h6>\n
But God in his mercy and loving grace\u2026<\/h6>\n
Gives David his royal, rightful place\u2026<\/h6>\n
Within the palace walls he\u2019ll replace<\/h6>\n
A would be king who fell from grace\u2026<\/h6>\n
Disobedience and pride, disgraced.<\/h6>\n
Do not mock the anointed of the Lord<\/h6>\n
Dance David, dance once more.<\/h6>\n
Freedom, Victory, give it all you\u2019ve got\u2026<\/h6>\n
This time in history is your one shot\u2026<\/h6>\n
To dance before the Lord with all your heart!<\/h6>\n

13\u00a0<\/sup>When those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. 14 <\/sup>Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, 15\u00a0<\/sup>while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets.<\/h6>\n
16\u00a0<\/sup>As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart.<\/h6>\n
17\u00a0<\/sup>They brought the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and David sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before the Lord. 18\u00a0<\/sup>After he had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord Almighty. 19\u00a0<\/sup>Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each person in the whole crowd of Israelites, both men and women. And all the people went to their homes.<\/h6>\n
20\u00a0<\/sup>When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, \u201cHow the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, going around half-naked in full view of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!\u201d<\/h6>\n
21\u00a0<\/sup>David said to Michal, \u201cIt was before the Lord, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the Lord\u2019s people Israel\u2014I will celebrate before the Lord. 22\u00a0<\/sup>I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor.\u201d<\/h6>\n
