My spirit is grieved today\u2026<\/h6>\n
This is what the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart to write\u2026<\/h6>\n
I\u2019m talking to \u201cChristians\u201d those who say they are followers of Christ\u2026<\/h6>\n
I\u2019m going to be as real and descriptive as I possibly can because there are many who need to hear this\u2026So get ready\u2026put on your seatbelts and hang on\u2026it\u2019s going to be a bumpy ride\u2026<\/h6>\n
Let me say right now this is not about whether divorce is right or wrong…It’s about what divorce does to families…and how it destroys lives.<\/h6>\n
I am saying this from personal experience not to cause condemnation but to tell you from my heart to yours, the deep, gut wrenching pain that comes from divorce!<\/h6>\n
Don\u2019t stop reading\u2026please read all the way to the end\u2026it may not be you, but I guarantee, you know someone who is suffering from this demon\u2026and it is a demon straight from the pit of hell\u2026whether you believe or don\u2019t it makes no difference\u2026it is REAL!<\/h6>\n
And the worst part of it all is it what divorce does to children\u2026<\/h6>\n
It causes insecurity, low self-esteem, and sickness. It causes mental and social and physical illness. Bed wetting, biting of finger-nails, hypertension, depression, trust issues\u2026despairing of hope\u2026fear of everything and everyone\u2026 and it sets the child up for failure in all relationships for the rest of their life.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
I\u2019m not saying there isn\u2019t healing that can come but are you willing to take that chance? The healing will only come through the Blood of Jesus\u2026nothing else works\u2026you only fool yourself if you think otherwise. I\u2019m telling you, the risk is too great!<\/h6>\n
To husbands and wives who divorce\u2026<\/h6>\n
You may think that divorce is the answer and in some cases of extreme abuse, I\u2019d say divorce is the answer.<\/h6>\n
God never intended for husbands and wives to divorce. The marriage ordained by God was symbolic of the marriage between Christ and His Bride, the Church. Jesus would never divorce his bride or abuse her.<\/h6>\n
But because of the HARDNESS of HEARTS Moses wrote a bill of divorcement\u2026<\/h6>\n
Hardness of hearts\u2026Pharaoh\u2019s heart was hardened; look what it cost him.<\/h6>\n
There is a horrible cost that comes with divorce\u2026not to mention the attorney fees that\u2019s just money.<\/h6>\n
You become like the walking dead\u2026<\/h6>\n
Sleep eludes you\u2026food is a four letter word\u2026you are literally torn in half\u2026mentally insane\u2026the war begins and it\u2019s not just a war between you and your spouse\u2026it is a demonic war and no one wins but Satan\u2026<\/h6>\n
Not only are you torn in half\u2026your children are ripped and dragged through the war with you\u2026between you\u2026the father pulls on one arm and the mother pulls on the other arm\u2026and the splitting begins\u2026<\/h6>\n
The devil is the master deceiver\u2026He whispers in your ear\u2026divorce is not so bad\u2026it\u2019ll be so much better when you\u2019re out of this marriage with this lunatic\u2026anger and hate take over and the person you vowed to love forever\u2026you can\u2019t stand to even look at them\u2026you leave each other to fend for yourselves and the children pay the price of your decisions\u2026<\/h6>\n
So you make it through the courts and now there\u2019s child support to pay and visits for the children every other weekend\u2026holidays are split up\u2026grandparents are seen rarely\u2026and enters the other girlfriend or boyfriend\u2026with their children and issues\u2026that opens a whole other story\u2026<\/h6>\n
But it never ends\u2026.<\/h6>\n
It will be this way for the rest of your lives\u2026<\/h6>\n
Unforgiveness destroys lives\u2026<\/h6>\n
The aftermath of divorce is so much worse than the beginning\u2026<\/h6>\n
People turn to alcohol, drugs, pills, therapy or they just sink into the bottomless pit of walking dead\u2026Zombies\u2026on the inside, anyway\u2026Oh they put on a fake front in public but behind closed doors\u2026they live with regret and unforgiveness\u2026anger and pain.<\/h6>\n
I\u2019ve gone through this\u2026I know what I\u2019m talking about\u2026the only way I survived\u2026I had to forgive\u2026<\/h6>\n
Why is divorce so horrible\u2026<\/h6>\n
It leaves it\u2019s victims not really dead, but not living either\u2026and you have to go on and still do your job\u2026take care of the shattered family\u2026converse with the enemy your broken spouse\u2026FOREVER\u2026<\/h6>\n
I did forgive and even though Jesus took the broken pieces of my life and helped me to begin again after years of struggling and trauma\u2026there is still the scar where two had been one\u2026but ripped apart\u2026<\/h6>\n
Healing did come but only years after I was able to accept and forgive.<\/h6>\n
If you are thinking about divorce, if you are listening to the whispers of the devil and he\u2019s saying, \u201cSurely you won\u2019t die\u2026\u201d You are being deceived just as Eve and Adam were\u2026No you won\u2019t die\u2026not in the sense that you think\u2026but it will kill your spouse and your children in way that you will never recover from\u2026even when you forgive\u2026because your family unit as you know it, will cease to exist\u2026<\/h6>\n
If you are having problems in your marriage I beg you\u2026do whatever you have to do to save your marriage \u2026 Go to God\u2026get help from Him not from a source that tells you it\u2019s OK\u2026it will never be OK\u2026<\/h6>\n
Yes my spirit is grieved but more than that the Holy Spirit is grieved\u2026<\/h6>\n
Do Not Do what you are planning\u2026God has so much more for you as husband and wife\u2026Seek Him\u2026and Forgive. Forgive your spouse and forgive yourself and set aside selfishness\u2026<\/h6>\n
Father in the name of Jesus I pray for marriages today\u2026I pray for forgiveness and restoration. I pray for holiness and repentance\u2026Holy Spirit give men and women your power to overcome the enemy of their souls\u2026I pray for the children that you will protect them and help their parents to realize the cost is to great\u2026their lives, their children\u2019s lives and future generations are counting on them to make the right decisions\u2026Let men love their wives as you, Jesus love the Church and gave yourself for her\u2026Let women respect their husbands and honor them\u2026God I pray you will heal marriages today and do not let them be deceived, do let them be destroyed\u2026In Your Mighty Name I pray Jesus\u2026Amen and Amen\u2026.<\/em><\/h6>\n

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.<\/em><\/h6>\n
