While at the doctor\u2019s office today a couple came in, they were older than me\u2026LOL\u2026the lady\u2019s phone rang and I heard her talking to her daughter\u2026I was trying not to ease drop but it was a small room so I had no choice.<\/h6>\n
She said, \u201cYour dad is fine, nothing to worry about. We have two speeds, slow and stop\u2026\u201d<\/h6>\n
I laughed to myself\u2026they were so cute\u2026<\/h6>\n
And then I had an eye opener\u2026<\/h6>\n
No matter how big we think our faith is\u2026and no matter who we have praying for us\u2026when you are faced with the possibility of receiving news of a terminal disease\u2026it\u2019s like you are holding your breath until it is confirmed one way or the other\u2026<\/h6>\n
I have Faith in God\u2026I know what he said is true\u2026I\u2019ve read story after story of how he heals and has healed me many times\u2026and others I know he\u2019s healed\u2026why do we doubt?<\/h6>\n
Jesus asked Peter, \u201cWhy did you doubt me?\u201d<\/h6>\n
I thought about this question a lot and in my heart and in my spirit I\u2019d hear the Holy Spirit say, \u201cYou are not going to die now. You are going to be alright\u2026\u201d and I\u2019d respond \u201cI trust you God! You are my healer\u2026and I thank you for my healing\u2026\u201d<\/h6>\n
And yet there\u2019s that amazing relief when you hear the doctor say, it is not cancer\u2026<\/h6>\n
Confirmation\u2026relief and joy\u2026<\/h6>\n
Why didn\u2019t I feel that way before I got the news\u2026?<\/h6>\n
Do we really believe God?<\/h6>\n
I had to repent\u2026and say, \u201cJesus, I believe you, but help my unbelief.\u201d<\/h6>\n
I believe he smiles and says, \u201cIt\u2019s OK daughter, but go and sin no more! Your faith has made you whole!\u201d<\/h6>\n
I also learned during this trial\u2026that faith comes from the heart not your head\u2026<\/h6>\n
Jesus wants our heart\u2026<\/h6>\n
Search me O God and know my heart\u2026<\/h6>\n
And he does\u2026and what he finds there he reveals to us so that we can change\u2026<\/h6>\n
His gift to me today, was life\u2026but it is no different from any other day\u2026He IS LIFE!!<\/h6>\n
And even when I die\u2026I have His life!!!<\/h6>\n
But it sure is good to know that he\u2019s not calling me home yet\u2026<\/h6>\n
He is my deliverer and my healer\u2026Jesus is, The Great Physician!!!<\/h6>\n
Child, have faith in me\u2026trust me\u2026I will never forsake you\u2026don\u2019t follow me for what you can get from me\u2026follow me so that you can learn from me so you can know me\u2026I will not lie to you\u2026I will not abandon you\u2026open your heart and you\u2019ll see me, there, leading, guiding and directing your path. <\/em><\/h6>\n
When the road looks dark, and you feel alone\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
When everyone seems to have deserted you\u2026look full in my face and know I am right here with you\u2026sing a new song of praise. I am closer than your heartbeat\u2026keep your eyes on me not the circumstances\u2026I love you ~~God<\/em><\/h6>\n
Let me add this today, for those who did receive the fatal news and you were told it is cancer…don’t give up, don’t despair…there is a reason for everything…Only God knows what it is…but I can tell you this from experience watching my mom bear that news with grace and hope in her God, even though she believed and had faith that\u00a0he would heal her one way or the other…when it came time to accept what God had for her, she said, “I’m in your hands God…your will be done.” And God took her home. We are all going home one day…but how we live right now, with the time we have left, use it to glorify God…use it to encourage and strengthen others who may not be as strong in their faith…God bless you and give you grace every step of the way…take heart little one…Jesus is with you right now and he is carrying you all the way home.<\/h6>\n
