This morning as I woke, I heard, “O taste and see that the Lord is good….and For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you show the Lord’s death until he comes…” These thoughts came to me,\u00a0over and over again…<\/h6>\n
Being a Christian, if we dwell in the natural, if our thoughts are on what’s happening around us, and what’s happening to those, around us, we can become anxious, fearful, negative, and complain, and\u00a0unpleasant to be around.<\/h6>\n
But…<\/h6>\n
If we take a few moments and taste of the Lord and his sweetness…O what a difference it makes in us. We will eat of the bread of life and drink the cup of sweet goodness…our thoughts become healthy and joyful…there’s freshness in our souls…Then we have tasted of the goodness of the Lord and we have seen his benefits…and then no matter what we are challenged with in our day…we know our strength and our help is in Him. For as often we do this, we will remember it’s him who died to give us life! Our life is in, Him.<\/h6>\n

Worship God<\/span> if you want the best;<\/span>
\nworship opens doors to all his goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Young lions on the prowl get hungry,<\/span>
\nbut God<\/span>-seekers are full of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Come, children, listen closely;<\/span>
\nI\u2019ll give you a lesson in God<\/span> worship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who out there has a lust for life?<\/span>
\nCan\u2019t wait each day to come upon beauty?<\/span><\/p>\n

Guard your tongue from profanity,<\/span>
\nand no more lying through your teeth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turn your back on sin; do something good.<\/span>
\nEmbrace peace\u2014don\u2019t let it get away!<\/span><\/p>\n

God<\/span> keeps an eye on his friends,<\/span>
\nhis ears pick up every moan and groan.<\/span><\/p>\n

God<\/span> won\u2019t put up with rebels;<\/span>
\nhe\u2019ll cull them from the pack.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is anyone crying for help? God<\/span> is listening,<\/span>
\nready to rescue you.<\/span><\/p>\n

If your heart is broken, you\u2019ll find God<\/span> right there;<\/span>
\nif you\u2019re kicked in the gut, he\u2019ll help you catch your breath.<\/span><\/p>\n

Disciples so often get into trouble;<\/span>
\nstill, God<\/span> is there every time.<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s your bodyguard, shielding every bone;<\/span>
\nnot even a finger gets broken.<\/span><\/p>\n

The wicked commit slow suicide;<\/span>
\nthey waste their lives hating the good.<\/span><\/p>\n

God<\/span> pays for each slave\u2019s freedom;<\/span>
