When you say, Yes Lord no matter what I will trust you\u2026<\/h6>\n
You better be ready to back it up because you will be tried and tested\u2026<\/h6>\n
Like the old television program, The Twilight Zone. In the words of Rod Serling\u00a0\u2026<\/h6>\n
\u201cYou are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
These words fill my mind and it\u2019s a little eerie. I remember watching this show many years ago and I\u2019d try to think of other scenarios for the lives that were being shown in the black and white episodes\u2026 the stories always left me feeling strange and weird\u2026if the people had only chosen something different but this was imagination, not real, right? This was the Twilight Zone<\/em>.<\/h6>\n
The past few weeks have been rather like the twilight zone for me. Getting news of things I had no control over to change. Seeking God for answers and he answered. He showed me to be still and in that stillness asked me to trust him and to give him what I thought I could never do, but I did. And then the unsettling words of my doctor\u2026 \u201cThere\u2019s something in your lungs that don\u2019t sound right. Let\u2019s get a chest x-ray.\u201d Then came the follow-up. \u201cYou have a crackling sound in your lungs. There\u2019s something there maybe it\u2019s fluid let\u2019s keep an eye on it and we\u2019ll do another x-ray in a month. If it clears up all is good. If not well we\u2019ll see where to go from there.\u201d And so I enter the Twilight Zone.<\/h6>\n
Then the thoughts come, \u201cWhat if?\u201d You tell yourself not to worry, not to be anxious and to trust God. You look for signs that all is right with the world. But in our humanness the brain does not stop thinking just because we tell it too.<\/h6>\n
Being a woman of faith I know where my help comes from. I know that \u201cNo Matter What\u201d means No Matter What\u2026I will trust you. Even if my mind tries to tell me something different\u2026I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I am in God\u2019s hands\u2026and as the Holy Spirit pointed out to me recently\u2026when Satan comes to tempt you\u2026Say, \u201cIt is written.\u201d God\u2019s word is the most powerful weapon we will ever use against Satan and his demons\u2026It goes beyond what we think or feel. It goes way past the twilight zone.<\/em><\/h6>\n
God\u2019s word is true\u2026God\u2019s word is Life\u2026God\u2019s word never changes and will not return void and is not in vain\u2026God\u2019s word is health and joy and peace in the Holy Ghost!<\/h6>\n
So if you are faced with any challenge in your life right now\u2026remember when Jesus was in the desert and had fasted for forty days\u2026Satan came to tempt Him with the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the Pride of Life! He even tried to quote scripture. But Jesus said\u2026 \u201cIt is written<\/strong>.\u201d After all Jesus is the Word<\/em>!<\/h6>\n
Matthew 4:3-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)<\/strong><\/h6>\n
And the tempter came and said to Him, \u201cIf You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.\u201d<\/h6>\n
But Jesus replied, \u201cIt is written and<\/em> forever remains written, \u2018Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Then the devil took Him into the holy city [Jerusalem] and placed Him on the pinnacle (highest point) of the temple. And he said [mockingly] to Him, \u201cIf You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written,<\/h6>\n
\u2018He will command His angels concerning You [to serve, care for, protect and watch over You]\u2019;and \u2018They will lift you up on their<\/em> hands, So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.\u2019\u201d<\/h6>\n
Jesus said to him, \u201cOn the other hand, it is written and<\/em> forever remains written, \u2018You shall not test the Lord your God.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory [splendor, magnificence, and excellence] of them; and he said to Him, \u201cAll these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.\u201d<\/h6>\n
Then Jesus said to him, \u201cGo away, Satan! For it is written and forever remains written, \u2018You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.<\/u>\u2019\u201d<\/strong> Then the devil left Him<\/u>; and angels came and ministered to Him [bringing Him food and serving Him].<\/h6>\n
So in the life of a Christian we need never fear this world or the one to come or even another dimension\u2026because faith is Spirit\u2026and Faith pleases God!<\/h6>\n
So do not adjust your screen\u2026<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u201cYou are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind and spirit. A journey into a wondrous land of Heaven. Next stop, the God Zone!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
And that is where I will abide in faith knowing\u2026God\u2019s got me!! No Matter What!<\/h6>\n
