I\u2019m even going to post the video on Facebook. Let every one\u00a0know about how awesome the message\u00a0was that we heard\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6>Do ten minute devotionals\u2026<em>Jesus really spoke to me in that passage<\/em>. Say a little prayer. <em>Thank you Jesus, <\/em>then rush out the door\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>If you have children and they are, let\u2019s say, all grown up with busy lives of their own. And let\u2019s say you don\u2019t live close by. (I\u2019m not talking about anyone in particular, it\u2019s just an example.) And you come for a visit. At first everyone is excited to see each other and you hug and catch up on a few details. <em>I\u2019m so glad you came mom, dad, but I have this thing, I have to do. I\u2019ll see ya later, Love you.<\/em> And they rush out the door.<\/h6>\n<h6>How does that make you feel? I\u2019d say not so loved, not a priority. Of course you want them to go on with their lives and enjoy themselves and do what they need to do. Of course. But really?<\/h6>\n<h6>That\u2019s what we do to our heavenly Father\u2026and when we really need something\u2026then He\u2019s important\u2026isn\u2019t He?<\/h6>\n<h6>I don\u2019t want to cause condemnation, I don\u2019t want to cause guilt or embarrassment\u2026I just want to give a little reminder\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>God\u2019s a person too! In fact He is the most important person you\u2019ll ever know. God is love. God is not man. God is faithful and patient and merciful. God is ever lasting, He never dies, He never lies and He goes beyond Heaven and Hell to show you how very much He loves you.<\/h6>\n<h6>God is forgiving, God is transparent in so many ways\u2026God is Spirit, God is ever present, all knowing, all consuming, God is fire and life\u2026God is creator and God is always near\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Even when we don\u2019t feel him or see him or smell him or desire him\u2026even when we say He does not exist\u2026God is\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>When I\u2019ve been at my worst, God picked me up and held me and loved me through every ugly thing I\u2019ve ever said or done. It took my mom dying to make me realize how very much God does love me, and how very much I love Him\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>And when my unborn granddaughter died\u2026I thought I would die with her\u2026not only did I cry and lament for her, but I cried for my son and my daughter\u2026knowing, Jesus, wept too.<\/h6>\n<h6>God was right there with all of us\u2026giving grace and mercy\u2026I can no longer just rush into His presence and say, <em>Hi Pop\u2019s\u2026good to see ya\u2026love you\u2026I\u2019ll see ya later\u2026<\/em>and rush out.<\/h6>\n<h6>Oh no\u2026now I sit and weep and laugh and I talk to him about all the things that are going on in the world and people\u2019s lives that\u00a0I love, and those I barely know and ask him to help them\u2026and then I wait\u2026there is\u00a0no silence, so loud, as the silence I hear in the waiting, just before he begins to speak\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>You may think me silly or even crazy\u2026I do not care\u2026because what I\u2019ve found through the mourning\u2026is more precious than anything this world has to offer\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>God is my best friend\u2026Jesus is my savior and I love him with all my heart\u2026The Holy Spirit is also a person, not the flesh and bone kind, the Spirit kind, even more real,\u00a0and He feels and grieves right beside me\u2026then He lifts me up and shows me the face of Jesus\u2026in love and compassion with a fullness I\u2019ve never known before\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Nothing can take that from me\u2026Not death, nor life, nor things seen or unseen, not sickness or health or wealth or peril or darkness or raging sea\u2026My God has shown himself to me.<\/h6>\n<h6>If you don\u2019t know this love I am speaking of\u2026then go to your secret place, bow before the Living God and ask him to show you\u2026It\u2019s going to take more than a ten minute meeting\u2026So make sure you have lots of\u00a0time to wait\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>This is my heart today\u2026God bless you in your seeking\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: right;\">&#8211;Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill March 23, 2017<\/h6>\n<p><em><span id=\"en-ESV-28138\" class=\"text Rom-8-37\">No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.<\/span><span id=\"en-ESV-28139\" class=\"text Rom-8-38\"><sup class=\"versenum\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,<\/span> <span id=\"en-ESV-28140\" class=\"text Rom-8-39\">nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. <strong>Romans 8:37-39<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Father God, are you there?
