As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. I Samuel 17:48-50New International Version (NIV)<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
When Shad rack, Meshach and Abednego, three Hebrews, were told to bow to an idol or be burned alive in a fiery furnace\u2026they would not bow. They didn\u2019t run from the fiery furnace they went into it knowing that even if their God did not save them, even if they died they would not bow and worship the idol\u2026<\/h6>\n
Not three men but four men were in that furnace, The Lord was in there with them\u2026and when they came out, they didn\u2019t even smell of smoke\u2026even though the fire was made seven times hotter. (Read Daniel 3:16-27 New Living Translation (NLT))<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Moses didn\u2019t back up from Pharaoh, Daniel didn\u2019t run from the lion\u2019s den, Joseph didn\u2019t run from Egypt he stayed true to God, Esther didn\u2019t run, Ruth didn\u2019t run, Noah didn\u2019t run, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob remained true to God, John the Baptist didn\u2019t run from Herod the king, there are many more throughout the Bible who didn\u2019t run from the fire\u2026and Jesus the son of God, didn\u2019t run from the cross, He embraced it\u2026<\/h6>\n
We are not to run from the fire\u2026but\u2026run to the fire\u2026God\u2019s fire is more fierce than any fire people of the Earth can even imagine\u2026you think of the powerful weapons that are on the earth today\u2026it is nothing compared to God\u2019s fire\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Holy Ghost and fire is powerful\u2026but today we\u2019ve diminished him to ash and a few tiny sparks\u2026why because the enemy, Satan has told lies. \u201cSurely it\u2019s not for today. That was done long ago. Look how silly those fanatics look\u2026Holy Rollers\u2026sensationalism, speaking in tongues was for the disciples of old it is not for today. You are gods.\u201d<\/em> He is still hissing in the ears of men and women today and they are listening\u2026But Jesus said, “Go, I am sending you another comforter.”<\/h6>\n
Why are there wars, why are there murders and rape and addictions and immorality and perversion and\u00a0ungodliness everywhere\u2026because people have forgotten Who God Is!!!<\/h6>\n
*God does not change\u2026Jesus told the disciples to go and wait in Jerusalem until they be endued with power from on high\u2026I am sending you another comforter to live inside you and teach you and guide you. Wait for him to come. And he told them to go and teach these things to others\u2026If you see Jesus, you see the Father for what the Father tells me to do that is what I do.<\/h6>\n
If you see the Father and Jesus you see the Holy Spirit for the three are one yet they are individual persons. You may not believe me. That\u2019s OK. Search the scriptures and you will find the truth. But don\u2019t search them to prove someone wrong. Search them to prove to yourself that God does not lie and he does not change.<\/h6>\n
Below are scriptures that go along with what I\u2019ve said. If God can fill unlearned men and women of old and he can go to Gentiles of the Italian band and fill them with the Holy Spirit then who are we to say that it is one time and only a one time experience. O please understand I\u2019m not trying to convince you. All I\u2019m trying to do is serve God in the way he has instructed me too. And He has instructed me to write this today. If you truly desire to know Him\u2026then search the scriptures for they testify of Jesus, God\u2019s son.<\/h6>\n
The only way back to God is through the cross of Jesus and His blood and resurrection\u2026God showed me something this morning as I was worshiping Him\u2026I fell to my knees weeping\u2026and I heard the Holy Spirit say, \u201cPeople don\u2019t bow down anymore.\u201d<\/h6>\n
I thought about that\u2026in churches people all stand\u2026they want a new way of worshiping they don\u2019t want to \u201coffend\u201d anyone\u2026I\u2019m not saying there is anything wrong with how we worship God as long as it\u2019s from the heart and that it\u2019s true worship\u2026for of such the father seeks\u2026<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

But where is humility? Where is adoration? Where is total surrender to the Almighty, All knowing, All Majestic God\u2026where is down-on-your knees worship of the Only Begotten Son of God<\/em>\u2026lying prostrate, knowing WHO GOD IS\u2026He IS\u2026The Essence of ALL! He is Spirit…yet we dare to shake our fist at him and tell him, that He does not exist\u2026Why? Because people, don’t, know who He is!<\/h6>\n<\/td>\n

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.\u00a0And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, <\/em>who also said, \u201cMen of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? The Upper Room Prayer Meeting<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day\u2019s journey.\u00a0<\/sup>And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.<\/em>\u00a0<\/sup>These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. <\/em>Acts 1: 8-<\/em><\/strong>14 <\/em><\/strong>New King James Version (NKJV)<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
Coming of the Holy Spirit<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.\u00a0<\/sup>And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.<\/em>\u00a0<\/sup><\/em>And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.<\/em> Acts 2<\/em> New King James Version (NKJV)<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message.<\/em> The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too. For they heard them speaking in other tongues and praising God.<\/em><\/h6>\n
Then Peter asked,<\/em>\u201cCan anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?\u201d So he gave orders for them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Afterward Cornelius asked him to stay with them for several days.
