{"id":548,"date":"2017-03-17T08:24:12","date_gmt":"2017-03-17T13:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/?p=548"},"modified":"2017-03-17T08:53:04","modified_gmt":"2017-03-17T13:53:04","slug":"the-road-via-delarosa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/index.php\/2017\/03\/17\/the-road-via-delarosa\/","title":{"rendered":"The Road Via Dolorosa"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-551 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/7_cling-to-cross-239x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/7_cling-to-cross-239x300.jpg 239w, https:\/\/becourageousbebold.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/7_cling-to-cross.jpg 319w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/h6>\n<h6><em><strong><span class=\"passage-display-bcv\">Hebrews 5:7-9 <\/span><span class=\"passage-display-version\">New International Version (NIV) <\/span><\/strong><span id=\"en-NIV-30038\" class=\"text Heb-5-7\">During the days of Jesus\u2019 life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-30039\" class=\"text Heb-5-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered<\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-30040\" class=\"text Heb-5-9\"><sup class=\"versenum\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.<\/span><\/em><\/h6>\n<h6>Many times in life we will suffer&#8230;<\/h6>\n<h6>We will suffer great loss, and we feel lost\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>But God promises to be with us in every trial, every heartbreak, He will not leave us or forsake us in the storm alone.<\/h6>\n<h6>If you don\u2019t know Him, then you won\u2019t realize that it\u2019s not God\u2019s fault\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>God is a God of love and truth\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Jesus walked the road of suffering, the Via Dolorosa\u2026called the way of suffering\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>He knows what it is to suffer\u2026that\u2019s why He came\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>That\u2019s why when we suffer He carries us\u2026and comforts us\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>He told us we would have trouble in this world\u2026but to be of good cheer because He overcame the world\u2026and through him we can overcome too\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>If you are suffering, receive His grace; let Him carry you to the place of His peace\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>Rest in His loving arms\u2026because there is no where I\u2019d rather be than in the arms of Jesus.<\/h6>\n<h6>Simply be still and rest!<\/h6>\n<h6>You will get through whatever pain you\u2019re facing\u2026you will come through this\u2026One moment at a time\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I know because He\u2019s carried me many times down that road\u2026and every time I have come through stronger, I\u2019ve received more grace and love than I ever imagined, to share with someone else in their suffering, His infinite love and grace. Don\u2019t give up\u2026when you are in the ocean and the waves want to overtake you\u2026lay back and float on the water\u2026don\u2019t fight against the waves\u2026ride the waves\u2026all the way to the shore\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I recently watched a show where this tiny baby a preemie, died\u2026an angel was standing by waiting for his suffering to end\u2026someone standing by could see the angel and asked, if he was there to help the baby and the angel said, \u201cYes, I\u2019ve come to carry him home.\u201d The person asked why the baby was born that way. The angel said he was never intended to survive. His only purpose was to be born then die.<\/h6>\n<h6>The angel took the little soul in his hands and took him to heaven.<\/h6>\n<h6>We don\u2019t have the answers\u2026we never will\u2026we are not God. We don\u2019t see the ripple effect that each life plays in the life of others throughout eternity\u2026we are not meant too. But believe me have an impact either for good or for evil.<\/h6>\n<h6>We each have a purpose and we each have a choice in how we live our lives and\u2026at the end of our days those choices will determine where we go and how we live in eternity\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>I believe that suffering is the way we learn obedience that\u2019s what the Bible says about Jesus\u2026He learned obedience through the things he suffered.
