They are near\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>On seashore pathway, the sand is cool and soft<\/h6>\n<h6>I look out and see the final twinkling of light, in the distant sky, I hear a seagull cry,<\/h6>\n<h6>And I know, I, AM not alone!<\/h6>\n<h6>I walk out into the water, my feet on solid ground as waves gently kiss my toes<\/h6>\n<h6>In wonder, as step by step I take, I am walking on the water\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>There in the distance I see them in the boat, the wind picking up, one of them cries out, &#8220;A GHOST!&#8221;<\/h6>\n<h6>I shout back to them, \u201cIt is I!\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>Bold and brave Peter shouts, \u201cIf it\u2019s you Lord, may I come out to you?\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>\u201cCome!\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>Heart pounding, mind racing, as over the side Peter goes\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>\u201cI\u2019m doing it Lord; I\u2019m walking on top of the water!\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>A force of wind pushes in on Peter, the waves begin to rise\u2026<\/h6>\n<h6>And before he realized,<\/h6>\n<h6>He began to sink. He cries, \u201cLord Save Me!\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6>Why do we take our eyes off of Jesus in the crisis?<\/h6>\n<h6>When we are in the most miraculous, supernatural, experience of our lives we look at the circumstances and we begin to fall\u2026why do we doubt when we\u2019re hit with the unexpected. Fear causes us to put our focus on the storm. It\u2019s then, we need to keep our focus on the Lord more than ever! He\u2019s right there before us, in hands-reach. He has said to us to come. We\u2019ve spoken to him and are even amazed at the miracle before us\u2026but suddenly, the waves and the wind hit us, and we begin to sink\u2026we\u2019re afraid\u2026and cry in desperation\u2026&#8221;LORD, SAVE ME!&#8221;<\/h6>\n<h6>Jesus asks, \u201cWhy did you doubt?\u201d<\/h6>\n<h6><em>Did you not know that I would not let you down? I will not let you die. Have faith, even when the storm is raging. Even when the doctor says, there\u2019s no hope! Even when you are down to your last dollar and you\u2019ve lost your job! Have faith and do not doubt!! I will save you! I have saved you many times\u2026I am always with you and I will never leave you!! Don\u2019t look at the waves. Don\u2019t look at the storm. Keep your eyes on me, for it\u2019s in me, your help will be found. I will take you to safety, the storms will cease and I will give you peace!<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>Love, Jesus<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6>~Marla Shaw O\u2019Neill August 18, 2020<\/h6>\n<h6>Matthew 14:25-33 The Passion Translation<\/h6>\n<h6><em><sup>25\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><em>At about four o\u2019clock in the morning,<\/em><em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+14%3A25-33&amp;version=TPT#fen-TPT-5096a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup><\/em><em>\u00a0Jesus came to them, walking on the waves!\u00a0<sup>26\u00a0<\/sup>When the disciples saw him walking on top of the water, they were terrified and screamed, \u201cA ghost!\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em><sup>27\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><em>Then Jesus said,\u00a0\u201cBe brave and don\u2019t be afraid. I am here!\u201d<\/em><em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+14%3A25-33&amp;version=TPT#fen-TPT-5098b\">b<\/a>]<\/sup><\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em><sup>28\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><em>Peter shouted out, \u201cLord, if it\u2019s really you, then have me join you on the water!\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em><sup>29\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><em>\u201cCome and join me,\u201d<\/em><em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+14%3A25-33&amp;version=TPT#fen-TPT-5100c\">c<\/a>]<\/sup><\/em><em>\u00a0Jesus replied.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em>So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk toward Jesus.\u00a0<sup>30\u00a0<\/sup>But when he realized how high the waves were, he became frightened and started to sink. \u201cSave me, Lord!\u201d he cried out.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em><sup>31\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><em>Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and lifted him up and said,\u00a0\u201cWhat little faith you have!
