It was a still moonlit night<\/h6>\n
Stars sparkling in the grand expanse, Wisemen see the light\u2026<\/h6>\n
Traveling to find the promised God-man\u2026<\/h6>\n
There in the stillness I looked and saw<\/h6>\n
What seemed to be human but he wasn\u2019t at all\u2026<\/h6>\n
His voice was like thunder, clothes so bright, I had to shield my eyes\u2026<\/h6>\n
Light encompassed the darkness; I\u2019d never seen such a sight\u2026<\/h6>\n
Do not be afraid, lowly shepherds for I\u2019ve come to bring you good news\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Heaven\u2019s king has come to earth, to bring,<\/em><\/h6>\n
Great joy and peace to mankind this night\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
You\u2019ll find him wrapped in strips of cloth, a sign given By God\u2019s own design, lying in an animals trough\u2026 Messiah, the promised lamb of God\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Catching my breath, I listened to what this jubilant<\/em> being<\/em> had to say. Then I watched as he went away, taking flight\u2026into the sky, on this starry night.<\/h6>\n
Rushing to Bethlehem with fellow shepherd\u2019s we saw everything the being<\/em> had described\u2026<\/h6>\n
Excited beyond words we were lowly shepherds tending our herd\u2026<\/h6>\n
With full delight, we ran to tell all our fellow towns people what we\u2019d seen, then we went back to celebrate the new birth\u2026<\/h6>\n
Truly this is a Holy Night, filled with peace and joy not fright\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Holy-babe-of-heaven was born on this hallowed glorious night.<\/h6>\n
Within this tiny barn, we witness, the promise of God\u2019s new life!<\/h6>\n
