Wrapped around my blackened heart, to many lies have passed\u2026<\/h6>\n
Between then and now, I have no clue what I am headed for<\/h6>\n
Then someone, I know not who, came knocking at my door\u2026<\/h6>\n
Sneers, and disgrace had left their trace of pain and suffering, it\u2019s too late<\/h6>\n
Grief is deep, and crimes of the soul, done; all that\u2019s left is hate\u2026<\/h6>\n
Heart of stone, left alone\u2026<\/h6>\n
Vile liquid fills my veins, full of drugs there\u2019s no relief\u2026<\/h6>\n
No saving grace, there\u2019s no belief\u2026<\/h6>\n
Doubt and fear masked by glares, a stench that fills the air\u2026<\/h6>\n
All who enter must beware, nothing to lose, no one to care\u2026<\/h6>\n
But wait\u2026<\/h6>\n
One tiny spark of hope I see\u2026<\/h6>\n
They call him, Savior, but can he save me?<\/h6>\n
What\u2019s that you say, \u201cThis man can take, my pain away,<\/h6>\n
And give me a brand-new heart?\u201d<\/h6>\n
Slurred speech, I recognize, a picture I once saw\u2026<\/h6>\n
His eyes so kind, I wish I knew, this man they say, who<\/h6>\n
Takes away the sin of the world\u2026<\/h6>\n
Could it be true?<\/h6>\n
Bending now beside my dirty broken body, I cry\u2026<\/h6>\n
\u201cJesus, is that you?\u201d<\/h6>\n
I\u2019m unworthy to be in your presence\u2026I\u2019ve done things I can never repay\u2026<\/h6>\n
Child of brokenness, I will take all your shame, all your guilt, this I will do, <\/em><\/h6>\n
If you\u2019ll open your heart and ask me to\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Am I dreaming, hallucinating? Did I die and not know it?<\/h6>\n
Someone has prayed for you\u2026I\u2019m here to answer that prayer\u2026someone, does care\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
I\u2019ve been calling you all your life; will you accept me and turn from strife?<\/em><\/h6>\n

Screams of torment explode in my ears, demon fear, is drawing near,<\/h6>\n
Jesus, help me, take my heart; I believe, don\u2019t let me part\u2026from this world without knowing you\u2026<\/h6>\n
Forgive me now\u2026<\/h6>\n
In your holy name I vow\u2026I will follow thee<\/h6>\n
Wash me clean and set me free\u2026<\/h6>\n
Instantly\u2026the darkness flees<\/h6>\n
I\u2019m light as a feather my heart can breathe<\/h6>\n
Addictions shatter\u2026<\/h6>\n
Heart of stone now flesh, demons shriek and scatter<\/h6>\n
Pain all gone, there\u2019s joy, unspeakable joy, as I surrender to the Master\u2026<\/h6>\n
Eternal life forever after!!!<\/h6>\n
