The enemy of our soul is real. He will lie, cheat, kill, destroy your hope, your dreams, your life, if he can. But we have been given Life through the blood of Jesus Christ the anointed Son of God. What we focus on…and what our minds tell us can be so real that we actually have symptoms and if not dealt with can even bring death. It’s so important to know who you belong too…God’s word gives life…His Spirit speaks to us in truth…so when fear comes and doubts overtake you…speak the word of God and receive His life…let His word be so loud in you that nothing the devil says can be heard…I have a story to tell and it will be told…but for now just know that Jesus is saying…Keep your eyes on Him!!!<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n
Through this trial one of the tremendous things I learned was to listen to that still small voice of my Jesus and one night, in the heat of the battle I heard Him say, “Come walk on the water with me child. Keep your eyes on me!” <\/span><\/h6>\n
I had come across this picture of Jesus walking on the water by Abraham Hunter…I printed it and every time, doubt tried to take over, I remembered His words and I’d look at the picture…and receive peace! Today I wrote this poem. <\/span><\/h6>\n
‘Keep Your Eyes On Me’<\/h6>\n
How long O God, how long?<\/span><\/h6>\n
Will you leave me in this dark place?<\/span><\/h6>\n
A place where only dark shadows and creeping things slither and bring me to disgrace\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
I\u2019ve known your deep compassion and your never-ending love<\/span><\/h6>\n
I\u2019ve tasted and seen the gentleness of your spirit, light as a dove<\/span><\/h6>\n
And yet in this trial Lord, I thirst and cannot see\u2026the light of your face<\/span><\/h6>\n
Giving grace to me\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
I know it\u2019s there\u2026because you cannot lie<\/span><\/h6>\n
How long God, will I carry this thorn and in this trial, cry?<\/span><\/h6>\n
In the stillness of midnight, lying on my bed, I hear your loving voice reminding me to lift my head\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Come walk with me on the water, child, and keep your eyes on me\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
I have never, and will never, ever, abandon thee\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
You see,<\/span><\/h6>\n
The demons tremble at the mention of my name<\/span><\/h6>\n
They run away in terror for they can never proclaim<\/span><\/h6>\n
Freedom from the darkness or the resurrected life\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
All they can do, is, try to steal, kill and destroy\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
But they have no power over you\u2026they cannot take your joy\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
My blood is the cure for the sin filled life\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
One time, for all time, accepting it ends all strife\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Of pride, and confusion, yes, my blood cuts like a knife\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Through bone and marrow, sharp and precise\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Open your eyes child and realize\u2026that my blood gives new life\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
You ask how long\u2026Let me tell you<\/span><\/h6>\n
The moment you lift your head and decide<\/span><\/h6>\n
That I am by your side\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
The moment you pray believing that\u2019s when you\u2019ll see the tide\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Turn and watch it rush out to the sea, trial over, there\u2019s Victory\u2026<\/span><\/h6>\n
Speak words of life and then you\u2019ll be totally, completely, set free!<\/span><\/h6>\n
Do not look at\u00a0the storm child; Keep your eyes on Me!!!<\/span><\/h6>\n

Matthew 14:27-29 But immediately He spoke to them, saying, \u201cTake courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!\u201d Peter replied to Him, \u201cLord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.\u201d He said, \u201cCome!\u201d So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.<\/em> <\/span><\/h6>\n
