Why do you suppose we don\u2019t see more manifestations of healing today?<\/h6>\n
One reason is because we\u2019ve stopped tarrying and asking for the in filling of the Holy Spirit.<\/h6>\n
We treat Him as an unwelcome guest.<\/h6>\n
Saying He is something of the past instead of One of the persons of God<\/h6>\n
One of the last things Jesus said to the disciples was to go to Jerusalem and tarry (wait) there until you are empowered with the Holy Ghost\u2026He is the promise, the one Jesus told them about. He is the other comforter and would be IN them to teach them and guide them into all truth.<\/h6>\n
John 14:15-17<\/em> Amplified Bible (AMP) \u201cIf you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.<\/em><\/h6>\n
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor\u2014Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever\u2014<\/em> the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive<\/em> [and take to its heart] <\/em>because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.<\/em><\/h6>\n
If healing comes through the Holy Spirit but we don\u2019t believe in Him or we leave Him outside then what do we expect?<\/h6>\n
He is not only the Healer\u2026He brings with Him gifts or attributes that shows who He is\u2026but if we mock Him and leave Him covered up, hidden, and we are afraid to receive Him there will be no salvation of souls\u2026no healing or deliverance no guidance or comfort, no faith\u2026Jesus said, I\u2019m going away but I will not leave you as orphans John 14:18<\/h6>\n

    Wisdom \u2013 He knows God because He is God.<\/em><\/i><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Knowledge \u2013 He created the world and all things in it.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Faith \u2013 Pleases God<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Gifts of healing \u2013 He said healing is the children\u2019s bread.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Working of miracles \u2013 It is His good pleasure to give good things to His children.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Prophecy \u2013 He is the one who tells us what the future will bring.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Discerning of spirits \u2013 He is the one who tells us who and what\u00a0is of God and who and what\u00a0is not of God.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • Diverse kinds of tongues (various languages not by natural acquirement but by the Spirit)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • Interpretation of tongues \u2013 He reveals what He is saying so that we understand and will be built up in Him\u2026His grace and His mercy will flow.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • Unselfish Love – for Love is the greatest of all\u2026His love will never fail.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      When you read the Book of Acts and it describes the entrance or the appearance of The Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost\u2026He didn\u2019t come in, tiptoeing<\/em><\/strong>\u2026He came in with the SOUND OF A MIGHTY RUSHING WIND\u2026LIKE A HURRICANE OR TORNADO\u2026 \u2026and\u00a0the manifestation of TONGUES OF FIRE\u2026UPON EACH OF THE 120 men and women who were in the room\u2026and they ALL SPOKE IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES\u2026glorifying and magnifying GOD! It was so loud that the people in the city who had come from all over the known world for the festival,\u00a0heard the noise and came to see what it was all about. (Acts 2:4) AND IT SAYS THAT THERE WERE PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE KNOWN WORLD AND THEY HEARD WORDS IN EACH OF THEIR OWN LANGUAGE, PRAISES TO GOD!<\/h6>\n
                      SOME MOCKED AND LAUGHED IT OFF, SAYING THEY ARE DRUNK\u2026<\/h6>\n
                      But Peter full of the power and faith of the Holy Spirit stood bold and raised his voice and said, these men are not drunk as you suppose, it\u2019s only 9:00 in the morning\u2026No this is what was spoken of by the prophet Joel: In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, your sons and your daughters <\/em>will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Read<\/strong> Acts 2:17-21<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
                      So I have a question: Is God, the same yesterday, today, and forever\u2026does he change? NO! What He did then, He still does today. If we will let Him. Let go of fear and doubt and believe in Him! Jesus is the giver of the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit comes to reveal Jesus to us with truth! (Hebrews 13:8)<\/strong><\/h6>\n
                      There is a liar<\/em> and an enemy of God who sits in our midst and says\u2026that is not of God\u2026it was only for the early Church. You have no power now.<\/em> And he mocks the things of God and the Children of God to keep us sick, afraid, discouraged, depressed, bound by sin and hopelessness all the while sitting back and laughing\u2026Stop listening to <\/strong>Satan\u2026resist him in the name of Jesus and BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND FIRE!!!! Then in the middle of chaos, disease, storm, trial, persecution, death, you stand strong and true and you will see salvation and healing and prophesying, and you will Live victorious lives because with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE!!<\/h6>\n
                      GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE\u2026NEITHER THE SON OF MAN THAT HE SHOULD REPENT\u2026HAS HE NOT SAID AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT!!!<\/h6>\n
                      Numbers 23:19-21 <\/em><\/strong>God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the <\/em>Lord<\/em> his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them<\/u>.<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Oh brothers and sisters\u2026we must TARRY, wait upon the Lord\u2026ask Him for a fresh anointing and be FULL OF HIS SPIRIT\u2026He said in John 7:38<\/span> King James Version (KJV)\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.<\/span><\/em><\/h6>\n
                      You want healing? You want deliverance and your family praising and serving God\u2026THEN ASK JESUS TO FILL YOU WITH THIS HOLY SPRIRIT\u2026<\/h6>\n
                      I\u2019m not talking about having a form of Godliness\u2026I\u2019m not talking about sensationalism\u2026I\u2019m not talking about putting on a show\u2026I\u2019m not talking about tongue talkers for the sake of talking with no understanding\u2026I\u2019m talking about letting the Holy Spirit move and breath and have total control\u00a0in our lives for the Glory of God!<\/h6>\n
                      I\u2019m talking about what Peter said\u2026Peter replied, \u201cRepent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off\u2014for all whom the Lord our God will call.<\/strong>\u201d Acts 2:38<\/strong><\/h6>\n
                      Come on\u2026get serious with God\u2026and He will get serious with you!!!<\/h6>\n
                      Don\u2019t hide from Jesus\u2026Be bold and courageous and let your light shine\u2026be Full of the Holy Ghost and Power in Jesus name\u2026not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord!!! Ask, and you shall receive\u2026<\/h6>\n

                      The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
                      When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly<\/strong> a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: \u201cAren\u2019t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs\u2014we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!\u201d Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, \u201cWhat does this mean?\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Some, however, made fun of them and said, \u201cThey have had too much wine.\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Peter Addresses the Crowd<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
                      Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: \u201cFellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It\u2019s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      \u00a0\u201c\u2018In the last days, God says,
                      \nI will pour out my Spirit on all people.
                      \nYour sons and daughters will prophesy,
                      \nyour young men will see visions,
                      \nyour old men will dream dreams.
                      \nEven on my servants, both men and women,
                      \nI will pour out my Spirit in those days,
                      \nand they will prophesy.
                      \nI will show wonders in the heavens above
                      \nand signs on the earth below,
                      \nblood and fire and billows of smoke.
                      \nThe sun will be turned to darkness
                      \nand the moon to blood
                      \nbefore the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
                      \nAnd everyone who calls

                      \u00a0\u201cFellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God\u2019s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. David said about him:<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      \u201c\u2018I saw the Lord always before me.
                      \nBecause he is at my right hand,
                      \nI will not be shaken.
                      \nTherefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
                      \nmy body also will rest in hope,
                      \nbecause you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
                      \nyou will not let your holy one see decay.
                      \nYou have made known to me the paths of life;
                      \nyou will fill me with joy in your presence.\u2019<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      \u201cFellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31\u00a0<\/sup>Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it.                       When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, \u201cBrothers, what shall we do?\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
                      Peter replied, \u201cRepent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
