A season~<\/h6>\n
Parched from lack of rain, no grass, no flowers, no trees.<\/h6>\n
Squirming to find a bit of shade\u2026squinting in the sun\u2019s hot rays\u2026eyes glazed over with a cloudy haze\u2026<\/h6>\n
How long? How long before the rain?<\/h6>\n
Dreams of the mountains<\/h6>\n
Where living waters flow<\/h6>\n
Drinking full and long, that\u2019s where you\u2019ll know\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Wadi is a test we all must go!<\/h6>\n
The rains are coming, hold on and stay true.<\/h6>\n
The Wadi was made to buffet you.<\/h6>\n
Passing the test, times of refreshing you\u2019ll see.<\/h6>\n
Waiting and trusting, if you will be\u2026<\/h6>\n
In the Wadi of life, you learn to repent, giving back to God the things he has lent<\/h6>\n
Obedience is learned through suffering we\u2019re told~<\/h6>\n
Found in the Wadi there\u2019s nothing to hold~<\/h6>\n
Sweat and want is what we find; a better place we covet!<\/h6>\n
Learning the lesson and then we\u2019ll be sent\u2026<\/h6>\n
Up to the mountain the cool breezes we desire\u2026<\/h6>\n
Out of the Wadi; out of the mire~<\/h6>\n
A season is long in the dry desert place.<\/h6>\n
No water, no rest, no one wants to be in this test\u2026<\/h6>\n
Even the animals live in protest\u2026<\/h6>\n
Out of the Wadi when the rains begin to fall.<\/h6>\n
Dancing and singing, rejoicing all\u2026<\/h6>\n
So be content in the place where you are called.<\/h6>\n
Summer, winter, spring and fall~<\/h6>\n
Only a season, you can make it my friend\u2026<\/h6>\n
The Wadi won\u2019t last; it will certainly end~<\/h6>\n
Take heart and rejoice wherever you are!<\/h6>\n
The omniscience of God, he\u2019s never far\u2026<\/h6>\n
He hears and sees, only believe\u2026<\/h6>\n
He put you in the Wadi, to see if you\u2019d be\u2026<\/h6>\n
Faithful and obedient!<\/h6>\n
