I am telling you this in love because I love you too much not to say something\u2026everything in moderation\u2026<\/h6>\n
Are you a talker\u2026? Are you a listener\u2026? Are you a doer\u2026?<\/h6>\n
Does your life speak LOUD words of faith and hope to the non-believer?<\/h6>\n
Is Jesus, showing on your face?<\/h6>\n
Is His Love displayed in your daily living so that others see His reflection in everything you do and say?<\/h6>\n
Do you have a heart like Jesus? If you do, than you will understand what I\u2019m about to say.<\/h6>\n
Jesus, is, the Good News<\/em>\u2026<\/h6>\n
Jesus Christ (Yeshua), and Him crucified\u2026He is the message for all times\u2026<\/h6>\n
His life! His glory! His Story!! THE GREATEST STORY EVERY TOLD!!!<\/h6>\n
With so many distractions in our lives today\u2026it seems there\u2019s hardly enough time to eat, sleep, work and don\u2019t even think about time for play!!<\/h6>\n
With social media<\/em> at our finger tips, well, everything and everyone stares us right in the face\u2026we scroll, we text, we read, we write, we covet and complain\u2026 in just seconds our little 3×6 device allows us instant access to the world\u2026<\/h6>\n
We take it with us to work, to school, at home, to the bathroom, when we are shopping, the little pint size cell is never out of our reach and we are mesmerized and paralyzed and dramatized and amazed with every swipe we make\u2026<\/h6>\n
And we wonder why we don\u2019t have \u201ctime\u201d<\/em> for anything else\u2026<\/h6>\n
We are addicted to the screens\u2026<\/h6>\n
Who\u2019s sharing what, and whose friend request will we accept or deny\u2026<\/h6>\n
What did they make for dinner and who\u2019s having medical issues\u2026<\/h6>\n
Meme\u2019s what\u2019s in a meme\u2026funny, sad, crude, rude socially unacceptable\u2026and we scroll on\u2026and on\u2026 and on\u2026<\/h6>\n
It\u2019s worldwide\u2026there\u2019s an epidemic\u2026and no one wants a cure\u2026because we don\u2019t even know we are sick\u2026<\/h6>\n
I was one of the biggest users\u2026until our Church announced a 21 day fast and prayer time I was all in\u2026because of a medical issue I knew I couldn\u2019t fast food\u2026so I prayed and was lead to fast social media<\/em> for the 21 days. It has been an eye opener to say the least and to say the most; I know I won\u2019t be taken in to the degree I was before the fast. I have had more time to read my Bible and spend time with the Lord in prayer. I\u2019m not as anxious about hitting my -icon, to see what\u2019s going on with whom in the world. The world is going on just fine without me fixating on it every second\u2026<\/h6>\n
I feel a freedom that I didn\u2019t realize I had given up\u2026<\/h6>\n
I\u2019m not saying to give up social media<\/em> completely, all I\u2019m saying is that for me a huge burden has lifted and I am not tied to the tiny screen anymore. I\u2019m liberated and happier, because my time is not being stolen from me. I can live again and do the things that I had been putting off\u2026the stress of not having more time is lifted and I actually talk to people and take walks and enjoy my life, it is fuller and I am content.<\/h6>\n
Be careful and beware\u2026life is short\u2026you have to make a conscience decision who you are giving your mind over too and what you\u2019re subjecting yourself to.<\/h6>\n
Don\u2019t follow the crowds\u2026follow Jesus\u2026He is the Good News<\/em>\u2026He will show you the path to a full, happy, healthy life.<\/h6>\n
When\u2019s the last time you had a real face to face conversation with your spouse, your kids, your neighbors? When is the last time you went to a restaurant and didn\u2019t take your cell phone, checking it every other minute? Every place you look people have their faces in their cell phones\u2026<\/h6>\n
We\u2019ve watched Sci-Fi movies about mind control and robots taking over the world\u2026it might even sound to you like, I\u2019ve lost my mind\u2026but I\u2019m telling you, I have found my mind\u2026<\/h6>\n
Please be wise and take charge of your time and your life\u2026don\u2019t be sucked into the vortex\u2026<\/h6>\n
The enemy of your soul is extremely shrewd and manipulating\u2026<\/h6>\n
He knows the heart of man and he uses every tactic to deceive, destroy, steal and kill\u2026<\/h6>\n
Where is your heart Child-of-God? Where is your treasure? For where your treasure is your heart will be also\u2026don\u2019t give your heart and mind away so easily\u2026try to stop using social media <\/em>for just one whole day\u2026see how it affects you\u2026then make your decision\u2026I promise you, it will not be easy to give it up\u2026it\u2019s like any other addiction\u2026you\u2019ll make excuses; you want it, you crave it\u2026you enjoy it\u2026you must have it\u2026that\u2019s how you\u2019ll know it has you!!!<\/h6>\n
