\u201cNow People\u201d<\/strong><\/h6>\n
We need to be \u201cnow\u201d people and \u201ctoday\u201d people. The procrastination or \u201cthere\u2019s no hurry\u201d attitude is a trick of Satan and brings hardness of the heart.<\/h6>\n
We should not only be hearers but doers of the Word. The \u201cdoing\u201d part does not mean depending just on self. When we study God\u2019s Word and apply it to our lives, God will lead and direct our paths. We should not lean back and call on God just when we have a need. Let\u2019s not be depressed about things of yesterday nor drown in depressions and self-pity. God says we can possess the land! God is a God of today! Let\u2019s move on and forge ahead with the mighty power of His Spirit.<\/h6>\n
Don\u2019t expect to do the doing on your own. Let\u2019s do in God\u2019s time so that we may have spiritual results. Sometimes God says \u201cwait\u201d and sometimes He says \u201cnow.\u201d When we move in His time, with His anointing, his work gets accomplished. The Holy Spirit leads, guides and directs. We are His vessels. The flesh or the natural man\u2019s thinking is removed. His Spirit works through us when we are willing. \u201cNot by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,\u201d says the Lord!<\/h6>\n
When we procrastinate or have the \u201cno hurry\u201d attitude, we fool ourselves into thinking that good intentions are enough. We think \u201csomeday\u201d when I get this done or when I finish this or that or when I\u2019m financially able or I stop this or that sin or all the other excuses that come to mind; then I will commit myself to the Lord. Will your time run out? We do not know about tomorrow. No. God will not credit you for good intentions as you may think. He said, \u201cIf you love me, you will keep my commandments.\u201d We will never accomplish or carry through God\u2019s anointing with that attitude. That is an attitude of disobedience to God. A \u201clittle\u201d obedience is the same as no obedience to God.<\/em> We cannot serve two Masters. We must love one or hate the other (Satan). Anything that replaces God in your life is the same as idolatry<\/em>. God was and still is against idol worship. \u201cThou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me.\u201d He demands to be first in our lives. Our God is a \u201cNow\u201d God; not to be put off and used as a God of convenience. Letting other things come first is easy since God gives us a will of choice. We decide whom we wish to serve.<\/h6>\n
We must be \u201cnow\u201d people while we are under the anointing. When we step out for God, He anoints, equips and directs. Today is the day of faith! Now is the time of your anointing. Now is the time of salvation and the reaping of the harvest! Do not be concerned of what people will say. Make a stand for God now, while there\u2019s still time. Satan says. \u201cThere\u2019s no hurry!\u201d God says, \u201cNow people!\u201d God will take care of you when you make Him your priority now!<\/h6>\n
You\u2019ve heard the phrase: \u201cThe road to Hell is paved with good intentions.\u201d<\/h6>\n
There\u2019s another story about the Graduation School of little demons.<\/h6>\n
Satan asked three of them, \u201cWhat are you going to tell the people when you go out there?\u201d<\/h6>\n
The first little demon says, \u201cI\u2019m going to tell them there\u2019s No God!\u201d<\/h6>\n
Satan said, \u201cNot good enough. Most Christians and sinners know there\u2019s a God.\u201d<\/h6>\n
He asked the next one. \u201cWhat will you tell the people?\u201d<\/h6>\n
The second little demon says, \u201cI\u2019ll say there\u2019s no Hell!\u201d<\/h6>\n
Satan says, \u201cAhhh, that\u2019s good. You\u2019ll get a few, but not enough.\u201d<\/h6>\n
He asks the third little demon, \u201cWhat will you say?\u201d<\/h6>\n
The third demon with an evil grin says, \u201cThere\u2019s no hurry!\u201d<\/h6>\n
Satan laughed and said, \u201cThat\u2019s great! You will win many for the kingdom of darkness<\/em>!!\u201d<\/h6>\n
Let\u2019s not put off tomorrow what we can be blessed with today! There is life and power in God\u2019s Word.<\/h6>\n
Be people of purpose\u2026be people of \u201cNow!\u201d<\/h6>\n
