OK here we go!!!<\/h6>\n
So about this Holy Fire\u2026<\/h6>\n
This is the message I have to give today…and in obedience I write…<\/h6>\n
God sent Jesus.<\/h6>\n
Jesus said to\u00a0tarry (wait) for the Promise\u2026stay in Jerusalem until you are filled with the Power from on High\u2026<\/h6>\n
Luke 24:49 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) <\/em><\/strong>And look, I am sending you what My Father promised. As for you, stay in the city until you are empowered from on high.\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
You know it takes wind blowing on embers, to cause them to ignite and catch fire\u2026<\/h6>\n
One-hundred-and-twenty-souls in a room upstairs near Jerusalem\u2026what were they doing? They were waiting in obedience, and they were praying together in one\u00a0accord\u2026.Ten days after the ascension of Jesus…(Acts 1:14)<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
And then suddenly, like a mighty rushing<\/em> wind<\/em> the room was filled where they were and tongues of fire<\/em> lit upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire!!!! Praising God, all speaking languages they didn\u2019t know \u2026 (Acts 2:2-4)<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n
The crowd thought they were drunk with new wine, but it was too early to be drinking it was nine in the morning\u2026<\/h6>\n
Tribes and nations were there from all over the known world for the feast of Pentecost\u2026.They heard these unlearned men and women praising God in each of the foreigner\u2019s on language\u2026shocked by this display\u2026some mocked, but some listened.<\/h6>\n
Peter stood up and began to preach, this is not new wine, it is what was spoken of by the prophet Joel<\/em>. (Joel 2:28)<\/h6>\n
He began to tell them about Jesus, and what the religious rulers did to the Son of God\u2026About 3000 souls repented and were baptized that day.\u2026When the Holy Ghost and Fire is seen and heard in God\u2019s people, when His word is preached, faith rises and\u2026transformations take place and something miraculous happens\u2026these early Christ-followers didn\u2019t have a lukewarm encounter with Jesus\u2026they didn\u2019t have a scheduled program or organized religion, they had no fine, luxurious buildings to\u00a0minister in\u2026they preached in court yards and on hill sides….They were persecuted\u2026crucified, mocked, spit on, beaten, betrayed, stoned to death for their faith\u2026and that was before they received the Holy Ghost and Fire\u2026look what happened to them afterwards\u2026they Rocked the known world for Jesus and He spread like wild-fire<\/em> everywhere they preached. Hearts were changed, bodies healed and set free, deliverance from evil spirits\u2026they helped each other, loved each other, prayed for each other\u2026They were the called out ones…The\u00a0 early Church…<\/em><\/h6>\n
Peter said the Holy Ghost was for everyone who accepted Jesus as the son of God. I\u2019m not just taking about tongues of fire\u2026I\u2019m talking about a rejuvenation of the heart, where the love of God is the focus and souls for His kingdom are the goal\u2026that even the far off ones would be filled\u2026that\u2019s you and me. That the Holy Ghost and fire is for every generation and all who will seek Him\u2026Do you eat only one meal and never eat again? No. You eat daily. The same is true of being filled with the Spirit.<\/h6>\n
God always has a remnant\u2026those who will not conform to this world\u2026those who get alone with the Messiah and pray, not to be seen of men\u2026but to have an intimate relationship and pivotal moments with Him. Where he directs their lives and reveals more of Jesus to them. By letting the Holy Ghost have full reign showing them the heart of Jesus\u2026<\/h6>\n
It doesn\u2019t matter what is going on in this world\u2026chaos and death and sickness and climate changes have been going on since the beginning of time\u2026 Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of war\u2026it rains on the just and the unjust…our bodies are going to decay they are going to wear out…but our soul never wears out, never grows old, never dies…the soul is eternal…depending on the decision we make will determine where our soul will dwell forever.<\/h6>\n
Evil is ever present and will continue until Jesus returns\u2026.We as Jesus\u2019 children and followers must keep our eyes on Him\u2026be full of the Holy Ghost and Fire and continue in His word\u2026Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!!<\/h6>\n
The Holy Ghost is gentle, kind, comforting, peaceable, longsuffering, He doesn\u2019t grow weary or tired\u2026he doesn\u2019t sleep or slumber\u2026He is always watchful always aware and always brings the Presence of God and reveals Jesus to the seeking heart. He grieves, he rejoices, he doesn\u2019t bring confusion or doubt. He brings understanding and encouragement. The Holy Ghost of God is not fear or death. He brings life and refreshing.<\/h6>\n
Don\u2019t let lies or distractions keep you from the life-source\u2026tarry in His presence and let him show you what it is He has for you\u2026he doesn’t make a display to bring glory to himself…He comes to show us Jesus.<\/h6>\n
The only way we are ever going to truly know Him\u2026is to be with Him\u2026seek Jesus not the gifts he has to offer…those are manifestations that he is present. Do you want to know about the author of\u00a0the book…or do you want to know the author?<\/h6>\n
If you are a God-seeker\u2026a Jesus-follower\u2026 Holy Ghost walker-talker\u2026then ask him to fill your cup on a continuous daily basis\u2026let the rivers of life flow from your belly.\u00a0Not hot or cold and never lukewarm…<\/h6>\n
Be on fire.<\/h6>\n
If you have no clue what\u00a0I\u2019m talking about\u2026and you want to know Him…Ask Jesus to come into your heart and change your life, fill you with The Holy Ghost and Fire and I promise you will understand. I’m not talking about emotionalism…I talking about a real, honest-to-goodness encounter with the Living God!<\/h6>\n
Open the Book. The Holy Book, known as the Bible\u2026God\u2019s words were written down for us to read and feast upon. Men and women lived and died to make sure this generation would have the Word of God. Don\u2019t take it lightly\u2026respect it and protect it. Learn it and know it. The scriptures testify of who Jesus is\u2026if you truly want to know Jesus\u2026read His word and ask the Holy Ghost to open your understanding. Ask him to show you the face of Jesus. He loves to reveal Jesus to us so that we will live and not die.<\/h6>\n
