Kind Lady what luxury you possess<\/em><\/h6>\n
You\u2019ve wealth and riches I envy and protest\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Why have I none of these? I\u2019m a good person<\/em><\/h6>\n
I\u2019ve worked long and hard\u2026yet,<\/em><\/h6>\n
For all my labor all I have is poverty and debt\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Looking at the lowly man<\/h6>\n
My heart goes out to him\u2026<\/h6>\n
And slowly I ponder his words, then, begin\u2026<\/h6>\n
Lowly man\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you travel the roads I\u2019ve been down?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you walk in the heartache\u2019s I\u2019ve found?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you squander all your earnings, live in a barren town?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you dance the dance of sin and shame\u2026?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you waste your youth on vanity and ruin your good name\u2026?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Would you cry alone, unending nights?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Try to take your life?<\/em><\/h6>\n
You see, I wasn\u2019t always in all this finery, as you so plainly put it\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
It was one dark night with everything lost, I cried in despair to a God I thought no longer cared\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Responding to the Shepherd\u2019s voice I clung to Him and made my choice<\/em><\/h6>\n
Leaving the sin of my discarded life behind\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
I took up my cross and followed the one who brought me to His blessed breast<\/em><\/h6>\n
He took my heart of stone\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
And there I was redeemed\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
These earthly things you envy Sir are not the things I sought<\/em><\/h6>\n
For peace and rest cannot be gained in the market place to be bought\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Only Jesus and His saving grace, will give you what you seek\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
All these things are temporal; they\u2019ll decay and fade away\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
But what I have is eternal, given freely to all who believe and pray<\/em><\/h6>\n
You see, Jesus Christ, lived and died, to wipe our sin away<\/em><\/h6>\n
So if you want, what I have, Sir, then ask Jesus to come inside\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
He\u2019ll transform your life and bless you, more than you could ever dream<\/em><\/h6>\n
Earth\u2019s wealth and riches, are not what they often seem\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
It\u2019s Him, who lives inside of me, which gives my life meaning\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
If you\u2019ll give your heart to Him alone; make Him your reason for living\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
If you\u2019ll lose your life for His sake, you\u2019ll gain your life by giving\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Hope to the hopeless, faith to the faithless, peace to the restless, grace to the graceless,<\/em><\/h6>\n
You\u2019ll gain God\u2019s favor, which is priceless, and you\u2019ll never, ever, be poor again.<\/em><\/h6>\n
