No reputation, no agenda<\/h6>\n
Except to make way for the Savior of the world\u2026<\/h6>\n
A man crying in the wilderness<\/h6>\n
Repent and be baptized\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
For one mightier than I, has come\u2026!<\/em><\/h6>\n
Beheaded, he lay down his life\u2026<\/h6>\n
Jesus asks\u2026<\/h6>\n
What did you go out into the wilderness to see?<\/em><\/h6>\n
A reed shaken in the wind\u2026?<\/em><\/h6>\n
A prince dressed in fine array\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Did you expect a prophet of the court, prophesying for pay?<\/em><\/h6>\n
He was a true prophet, preaching and showing the way.<\/em><\/h6>\n
John was not swayed by the pomp of men\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
He was courageous, baptizer, he did not bend<\/em><\/h6>\n
He was not a reed shaken by the wind\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
A new Elijah; family; friend\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Pointing to the one who could forgive sin\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
No one greater would ever compare to this wilderness walker<\/em><\/h6>\n
Deliverance talker\u2026nothing to gain except the approval of His God<\/em><\/h6>\n
He proclaimed\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Prepare ye the way of the Lord!<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
Did you hear? Did you listen?<\/em><\/h6>\n
No, you are\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Spoiled, unruly, children, complaining to your friends<\/em><\/h6>\n
We played your wedding songs but you did not dance\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
So funeral songs were played, but you did not mourn\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Ungrateful\u2026you wear your face of scorn\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Woe to you Bethsaida, woe to you Korazin! Remember Tyre and remember Sidon?<\/em><\/h6>\n
Repent and turn to God, but if you will not\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
Then this will be your destiny\u2026worse for you on Judgement day\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
And Capernaum, no honor in heaven for you\u2026it\u2019s down to the place of the dead\u2026instead.<\/em><\/h6>\n
Great miracles you\u2019ve seen but they mean nothing\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
What did you go out to see; a reed shaken in the wind?<\/em><\/h6>\n
John did not break and he did not bend\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
God\u2019s favor is poured upon the head of him\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
His life greater than all of them\u2026<\/em><\/h6>\n
He shouts\u2026<\/h6>\n
MESSIAH HAS COME AND WILL COME AGAIN!<\/h6>\n
Listen, Jesus is praying…<\/h6>\n
He will come with a sword! <\/i><\/h6>\n
Look to the east, see the Lord\u2026<\/i><\/h6>\n

Matthew 11:7-24<\/em> New Living Translation (NLT)<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
As John\u2019s disciples were leaving, Jesus began talking about him to the crowds. <\/em>\u201cWhat kind of man did you go into the wilderness to see? Was he a weak reed, swayed by every breath of wind?<\/em> Or were you expecting to see a man dressed in expensive clothes? No, people with expensive clothes live in palaces. Were you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more than a prophet. John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say,<\/em><\/h6>\n
\u2018Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.\u2019<\/em><\/h6>\n
\u201cI tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!<\/em> And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it. For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses looked forward to this present time. And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!<\/em><\/h6>\n
\u00a0\u201cTo what can I compare this generation? It is like children playing a game in the public square. They complain to their friends,<\/em><\/h6>\n
\u00a0\u2018We played wedding songs,<\/em> and you didn\u2019t dance, so we played funeral songs, and you didn\u2019t mourn.\u2019<\/em><\/h6>\n
For John didn\u2019t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, \u2018He\u2019s possessed by a demon.\u2019<\/em> The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, \u2018He\u2019s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!\u2019 But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
Judgment for the Unbelievers<\/em><\/strong><\/h6>\n
Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn\u2019t repented of their sins and turned to God.<\/em> \u201cWhat sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.<\/em><\/h6>\n
\u00a0\u201cAnd you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today.<\/em> I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.\u201d<\/em><\/h6>\n
